Remote for Roku
To use the remote control, you must have your mobile / tablet on the same wifi network as your box. Because the application runs through the wireless network, it is not necessary to be near the box. The app will detect your Roku automatically.

it works, only for very few tasks. if TV isn't already setup for a connection, you're screwed. phone app has to be on the same connection as TV. so no screen mirroring. NO WAY TO ADJUST ANYTHING. Volume, brightness, sound settings... pretty much everything used daily with a regular remote, forget it. It plays Netflix. searching for a title? an advertisement will pop up on your phone every 5 to 8 times u press a key. definitely buying replacement remote tomorrow. but thanks
It works, no question adout it. Has a nice user interface giving it that Roku Remote look. Con: Ad to click rate is a little high, 10 clicks and an ad pops up. That said, if your like me, and your Roku remote keeps sprouting legs and walking off. Than "Remote for Roku", is a must have on your smartphone.
I just need a remote for my roku player, this app said that it was just that, but for some reason it needs something to do with my tv. My tv has nothing to do with my roku player. This is false advertising. It says my tablet and tv are not on the same wifi network. Of course they arent on the same connection, my tv doesnt have wifi, its why i got a roku player.
Does exactly what it says on the tin! Tried the official Roku app and no matter what I did it would not link to my Now TV box. However, this app linked with me taking no action at all. What could be better. Does everything the (lost ) remote used to do. Highly recommended
Great app. Lost my remote and found this app. Connected to my Now TV box instantly with no input needed from me. Official Roku app would not connect no matter what. This app does everything the remote does so is highly recommended
This app didn't even work with my Roku or my TV and I got ads in the middle of me trying to use a remote if you want to make a remote app please don't add ads because it just makes the experience worse for everyone I would give zero stars but sadly I can't so if there were not so many ads and it worked with all roku's I would be happy with this app.
I misplaced the remote for my Roku stick in the living room.it's easy to use my phone and my remote didn't have a microphone on it so it's actually better use my phone so I don't have to type out everything. Thank you for making this app I love it.
Yes, there are adds. But, this is a free roku tv remote app that works and required no additional setup other than installing it. If there is an option to pay money and have the adds removed let me know.
It works amazingly and quickly, my only problems are, number one you cant control volume, number two you cant turn the tv on and off, and number three, the adds are terrible!
This is the worst app. You cant even sign in to a an installed in roku without a f****ad coming up, I KNOW HAVE 20 WINDOES OPEN WITH CLICK BAIT BECAUSE ITS IMPOSSIBLE NOT TO CLICK ON THEM, it took me 20 minutes and sorry to say i WAS so frusterated i could cry to just sign into the netflix app. Of course you can pay for premium...what? Why? I am going to amazon and buying the firestick. RIGHT NOW.
I tried another app and it didn't work (well unless I paid for access to another remote app) but after I reset and restarted TV this app worked!! Very satisfied as I cant live without my tv!
App freezes. Can't make selections half the time. Purchased annd paid for Premium/no ad, and i'm still getting annoying ads that distract my searches.
This app stinks so many bad features.There was a lot of adds.It wouldn't even connect to my tv,because how am I supposed to have my tv on when the whole reason I wanted the app was to watch tv,because I lost my remote. I reccomend 0 stars to this app.But to comment I had to give it at least 1,so I gave it a 1.
it's not working so good on my Roku sometimes it works other times it doesn't. so don't get this app. but otherwise this app would be great if it didn't just randomly stopped working.
it does what it's supposed to do so far, but tha ads seem to get in tha way when trying to change the channel an move to different apps in my Home otherwise it works good
way too many ads make using the remote more painful than necessary, especially when using on screen searches and an ad decides to ruin your day.
It worked fine but everytime I for off the app and for back on it wouldn't work at all so I have to refresh until it works. Everything else worked just fine.
It works well with Roku. The only drawback is the advertisement. However, they are very short and can be closed immediately.
it doesn't seem to detect my TV no matter how many times I tap the refresh button, even as its right in front of it.
It always freezes up on me always sending me to videos to watch in the middle of trying to change the channel won't let me select the channel I'm trying to pick just have nothing but problems
With this remote you have to constantly hit the icon in the bar to launch the app,if you stop to read textbooks information about the movie or if it is not used or when you want to pause the movie.
I think it program works real well.. I will take this program will be easier for a few people that have handicap disability so I cannot use your hands at all.
sometime it done not connect to my TV and the ads are just too ridiculous and it's ridiculous to have to pay to get the ads taken off but when it does work it works good
***WARNING READ BEFORE DOWNLOADING*** will constantly pop ads after about 5 remote presses to the point where it renders this app utterly useless. do not bother wasting your time just try a different app trust me this one ain't it.
it wirks with my Roku box. but some times freezes up. but it does work most of the time and works great
This app works perfectly! There are little advertisements and rarely we needs to be fixed. Especially due to the fact that I am physically disabled( quadriplegic) diagnosed with transverse myelitis. So I am able to control my TV on my own without depending on anyone else. Rarely has major bugs to fix. Give it 3 Thumbs up. Recommend this to anyone instead of using physical remote or if it is lost.
