Remote for Roku TV | Insignia

Both the television and the app to control it are terrible. You can't even directly select an over the air channel! This TV is in a camper which is often not near an area of good internet so all of it's streaming features are useless. It needs to be able to do what a TV is supposed to do and the remote needs to be able to directly select an over the air channel. Fix it..

Good app.. pretty easy to use. The pop up ads are super annoying. You'll be scrolling through the channels and all the sudden the remote stops working because an add pops in. Other than that it would be great. If the ads didn't interfere with operation I'd give it a 5.

Did not work on my Roku Insigna TV. I assume my remote quit working. My smart TV appears to work off the remote completely, no buttons on set to even turn on, off. Assumed remote but it maybe the TV. Bought universal remote, it did turn on TV, but screen froze on Roku, finally timed itself out on power saver. This smart TV not so smart after all. Note your smart phone and TV must be on same network for this app to search.

Should be removed from Google Play, unless option to purchase fixed or remove the purchase option completely. One of the recent updates has started ads with sound and that can't be quickly dismissed anymore. So I have a loud YouTube ad on my Roku that I can't skip because my phone is blasting another ad. I found another free app that is MUCH better, faster and less clunky.

Great app. it does have a few adds that pop up while in the app but that's expected i guess since it is free. Besides the adds its awesome tho. No complaints from me. works great n is nice that me n my girl can both have a remote to the TV so if i fall asleep n she cant find it she can just use the app on her phone. Thanks for a great app!! 👍

Garbage, I want to use IR to communicate to my TV, the app wants to auto configure/connect through WIFI to my TV. My TVs WIFI is not configured and I do not have the original remote to configure it so I can not use.

It a very good app, it very easy to understand and to use. I will recommend it to anyone who has a Roku tv. It's is very easy to navigate and I love it better than the remote that came with the television.

Best remote app I have found. As soon as I opened this app it scanned for TV that matched and found my insignia Roku tv. Clicked on it and everything on the app works like a charm.

After several downloads i found this app. It downloaded and did it's thing. No mac address to enter no wifi passwords to worry about! Works very well.

Great functionality, but I keep getting ads every 30 seconds to a minute. If the ads weren't as frequent I'd give it 5 stars.

Just set there searching wifi for devices. I need an IR connection with the Insignia Roku TV or I can't hook it up to wifi in the first place. Useless for me.

works very well except as. the ads pop up later after you use the remote. very annoying.

asked me to review, still one star due to new ui. take a hint and fix it. if (ux == bad) {gobacktoolddesign (true);} also I paid for this and now commercials are showing again.... Not pleased!

Too many ads and when you click remove ads it just takes you back to the remote and does nothing....i wish you could rate it no stars

So, I say it does work. Now, it still needs work. ** Frequency of ads are over-aggressive!!! *** No way to rename your T.V.!

Too many ads and it doesn't give u the option to remove ads and or it doesn't work but it's good app besides that just too many ads

Had it with the sides, up and down arrows at first and before the day was over they were gone. Uninstalling after this.

The option to remove ads is not functioning. I love the app, but the ads have GOT TO GO

Yes there are ads but unless you feel like going out and buying a new remote you have to deal with it ty you to the developers for doing this app

It doesn't even work an its exactly like a different roku reomote app i tried already its doesn't even have the left right or middle or up an down buttons so dont download this app it horrible

i would give it a four but it wouldn't connect to my roku at all and i literally just downloaded an app that is the same as this app so yeah

I was so hopeful this one would work, alas it did not. Couldn't find my TV and just kept cycling. I'm very disappointed

Only flaw is that it won't let me buy the app with no ads. Otherwise a great app.

Good app but ads are relentless. Would gladly pay for an ad free version.
