Remote for Sony TV

My redmi has an inbuilt mi remote for different appliances. But that did not work. After going through different apps in play store, finally found this app that works best. But i would suggest the developer does something to stop ads from taking the whole screen during use because I end up tapping the add, and then my browser opens or play store opens and it gets messy with so many apps opened. Maybe you can play an ad when the app is 1st opened only, not everytime in between when it is in use.

Installed and ran for the first time, pops up a screen prompt asking the user to review and rate app but all of a sudden the app flickers between portrait and landscape mode amd continuously alternates between portrait, landscape and vice versa, so disappointingly app unusable, uninstalled.

That upgrade pop up does nothing to make my experience a useful one. The fact most every attempt to change a volume or menu item within no less than 10 sec's has you backtracking and closing adds and linked content was certainly enough disregard all the positives. *Developers... If you make an app this good, don't ruin the end users experience with such forceful and intrusive call to actions and sales techniques!!! Shame.... App seemed ok lest closing pop ups every 10 seconds or so!! 🤔🤔🤔

Grandma's tv kept harassing her for an update, but because she got Roku, we took away the TV remote, as Roku remote controls the TV essentials. I was able to find this app, which connected to her tv automatically, and I became her superhero of the day. Uninstalling because I don't need it anymore, but I will definitely return if this happens again. THANKS DEVS!

simple set up, for wifi,not IR blaster phones Quick installation and pairing. Wasted an hour trying other remotes that did not "see" the TV or only used Infra Red , which phone does not have. This one? Up and running in two minutes. I have to be firm with buttons but otherwise, works well.

The app works and is easy to install. But I am uninstalling because the ads are insanly intrusive and pop up blocking the remote after opening the app and then after every 5 or so remote control operations. I would recommend finding another remote app unless you ate okay with constant ad anoyance.

Sluggish app. Hardly works keep tapping the buttons and may be it work for one or two times. Every 30 secs a full screen ad is shown so you'll tap on the ad accedentally. Pathetic overall. Instead use TV remote for Sony app. By spikesroid and really really works like a charm and very responsive app.

Works perfectly on the tv but it fails when your trying to buy the full version to get rid of the ads. I cannot emagine this is a desing for not maoing cash but hell what do i know, maybe they make more on ads that I wont ever hit. Great app if you dont mind the small ads bar. To be honest its nit yaof as bad if you look at othrr apps that spam you with full screen ads or popups you are forsed to tap to get rid of. worth installing for a backup but not a main app for alk your sony tv's.

Excessive ads(every 5-6 clicks on the remote) and a very high asking price for the ad free version makes me not recommend this at all. I need to mention that it works as intended however the aggressive push for ads makes it extremely annoying to use

first thing it does is offer an full screen ad for another remote app. then I tried to pair it with TV and ad pops up messing up the pairing. no option to retry pairing. So saw lots of full screen apps, no actual function. Next app I tried paired and worked so removed this app

Very good indeed but does not always detect the TV even under the same conditions. Also, does not turn the TV on or off... I would really appreciate that feature.

Did not find how to activate keyboard on Android phone. Using phone keyboard would be biggest advantage of using phone instead of the original remote control of the TV set.

It's a great sony tv app it's the only app that synced and worked with my phone and tv easy after putting in the code my tv gave me only thing was I had to pay 2.99 for premium membership cuz every 5 taps a ad came up so if ur willing to pay 2.99 for this or deal with the constant ads but over all great and easy app to us would also be better if the remote buttons were a lil bigger 👌🏻

Works great with wifi but if your tvs off you can't use the ir function on your phone (if available) to turn it on. If they can fix this it'd be perfect, also needs a pause function when watching streaming services Stopped working

Working fine but it's very annoying because of too many ads. Imagine that you want to get through 200 channels and every time you change 4-5 channels you have too deal with advertisement. There is also no guide button available on every sony remote.

It works. Mostly. But I only have one device saved and it's a miracle how it never reconnects unless I select it manually. I mean when I do it works, but it's really annoying.

It's really bad. As soon as I log on it says "Unable to connect to your tv, please use the controller to accept verify it and there's no tv found at the top" So I don't understand PS: I have a smart tv as well.

I purchased this app as I was looking for a quick solution without any ads. I was let down massively. The app often doesn't identify the TV in my wifi network.

It's a very good app for replacing the real TV remote to a phone remote. But I'm rating it 4 star bc it has sometimes.pls fix this otherwise it very good

So far works well as basic remote.. Just have to work out some of the more complex functions.

Does not do anything but display ads. Connects to TV but then does nothing. Ads everywhere that cover much of the phone's screen.

Constant ads that back out of controls and, most importantly, very limited commands. Found a better remote for my a Sony Bravia.

I don't mind a few small ads but this plays full screen ads that you can't close with loud audio. That's not cool.

Doesn't work and it's very poorly made most because of the 2 options for setting up and both clearly don't work. Don't download or install this.

Update is better, we now have bigger buttons and it now says which tv it linked with and with 2 of these it makes this app easier to use. Problem is there is so many ads.

It works in my Sony TV. The only prob is it does not auto-detect my TV. Instead, I have to manually enter the IP of TV. Could you pls fix this problem?

I tried many remote app for my Indian TV but this is inly one worked so far. Wont say perfect but serve the purpose very well. Thanks again to the team.

You cannot be serious...popping up ads on every second/third button push, disrupting the remote action.

It's good but MY GOD THOSE ADS!!! after 5 or 6 taps one pops up and it's annoying!!! I'm sorry but I'll be using another app
