Remote+ Free for DirecTV

Everything works extremely well. It even has some additional features that my RC64R remote doesn't have now. One that I like, is an on&off CC button's & best of all, every single time I've used this app for my remote control, I can sum up in one word. WOW, FANTASTIC, UNBELIEVABLY ACCURATE! Sorry, thought I could get a way with describing it in 1 word. However, after thinking about it, it wouldn't have given it justis.

Amazing! I downloaded the app in hopes it would work on my living room TV for my daughter as we miss placed the remote. I can choose any of our four tvs to work with this app and switching to different rooms is easy. It works amazing and I love I can put a show on in one room while being in a whole different part of the house. Since it goes by the wifi connection you don't have to point directly to the tv you wish to control. So far I can do everything with the app as if I am using the hand held

Wow, great app. Setup took seconds and it worked flawlessly from the start. I spent half the day trying to figure out how to configure RF for my older Directv Genie Minis for use with an HDMI extender in another room. Was about to take a chance on buying an older remote when I decided to look for an app instead. Glad I did. Thank you!

The app works really well with DirecTV, just like the remote control. This is an update to my original review. The issue we were having was not related to this app. Based on my new experience, this app is awesome. Our issue was with someone in the house sitting in the real remote!!! This is the best DirecTV remote app I've used thus far.

great functions. the remote does do every thing correctly. Unfortunately not all users are educated on functions so redundant fuctions do not have the ir support of the device the top critical review fails to understand that it makes the reciever see all input however since the remote is wifi access it does not actually do any changes to your tv.

Just downloaded the app and it works perfectly. My genie remote suddenly stopped working. I found a replacement remote at walmart for $35. I found this remote on the app store for free. The lite version works just fine for me.

Works fine - with few exceptions. With kids around the remote was always getting misplaced, so a remote on the smartphone worked out great. Having to pay for volume control and other features; eh - fair trade.

I just need to be able to work the volume on my sig. TV. I have direct TV but not Wi-Fi. This didn't work at all. Any suggestions?? My TV remote is lost. I've tried several romote apps & none will woke. I've tried to set up the direct TV remote but none of the codes work. There's too many codes anyway. T. Y.

This remote is awesome, but the only issue i have is the volume buttons dont work. They appear to be inactive. I have a Galaxy S10+. Just wondering if that is why or is there an update needed.

Such a great app. Never had a single isdue with connecting to any directv reciever. Makes my life easy. I put this app on my phone amd my tablet. Use it all the time. Confused why this app isnt a 5 star rating cuz its very user friendly. Im all about life easy stuff so this ones a no brainer.

Same issue with this app as others....will not control the power saving setting. I can get to the spot to make the change, but it won't let me change it from on to off. Idk what else to do. UPDATE: Thank you for replying to my review. I will contact my provider.

Every thing WORKS!!!! Great App. Easy to use. Controls all connected DirecTv receivers. Highly recommended after installing and running 4 different remote Apps. Finally one that WORKS!!

It actually works and it was a life saver for me till I was able to find my remote control and the app is free yes it really truly works. No ads.

Works absolutely flawlessly! My Direct tv remote quit working after a year, and they wanted to charge me for THEIR defective product, downloaded this app and set their remote in the junk drawer.

This is the best Directv remote app! Continues to work well for me. Scan works and if I want to save time, I just input the IP address of the receiver.

By FAR the best directTv remote app I've used. Zero lag time and the /list/guide/menu options work seamlessly. Very happy! Lost my remote during this quarantine and this saved my sanity!

Love it use to download the other remote app which also works great, but new phone wasn't compatible so I had to find another app and this one works great and is easy to use thanks to the developer/s! Saved the night!

Okay I'm computer savvy, and I have wifi. I have my receiver hooked up to wifi and when I run this app it says it can't find my receiver. Then it says to enter the receivers ip address. I put in what I thought was the ip address but the app said it was wrong. How do I find the Ip address for the receiver and what the F am I doing wrong !? Grrrr. Help. I used to work for Directv back in the day before att took over. And , I thought this is supposed to be the awesome app!? Guess not 😪

when it works ... it works fine. But, when it stops working there is no notification of the problem. I try to reconnect and I get nothing. Really annoying.

Very handy. Works better than original. Use it everyday. However since I upgraded I am having issues. Was very happy now not so much. Only works occasionally.

Works excellent....my wife doesn't like that the buttons on the original remote RC73 makes a clicking noise while I am up and she is trying to sleep at night. This solved everything 👌

I installed 3 other apps that are much higher rated and uninstalled each as they needed something additional to work. Remote+ Free for Direct TV works beautifully.

Did not find my receiver via scan. It said to use the remote to find the IP for manual scan, but the reason I downloaded this was the remote doesn't work. I will have to order a new remote or box.

I like the ease of set up and use. The only flaw on my end is that the volume feature doesn't work. Otherwise, I love the option of using the app.

It's a good app if you loose or break your remote. Only 3 stars because there's a lot of button's\features you need to pay for to use.
