* Receivers can be controlled using IR on select Samsung, HTC and LG devices that have built-in IR blasters (Mini-Guide requires networked receivers)
Using WiFi/Network:
* This app uses WiFi to control your receivers!
* Automatic discovery of your receivers with ability to add manually.
* Receivers must be networked (wired or wirelessly) and configured for EXTERNAL DEVICE ACCESS and given a UNIQUE NAME (this is not the default setting on the receivers)!
* Supported models (HD only): H21, H22, H23, H24, HR20, HR21, HR22, HR23 and HR24. Also supports HR34 /HR44 Genie and C31/C41 clients.
* For advanced users: One receiver can be controlled over 3G, etc. See Website FAQs for details.

This is one of the best apps that I have! Well worth a few dollars the braids to the pro version! Thank you for the app it's an excellent product! I can't get the volume to work even though I downloaded the add-on. One question I have is they're going to be support for wireless mini genies? That is what I have in my house and they do not turn off because they are not supported buy the app. If not that's okay because the rest of the app works flawlessly!
Used to work great, but it's now zoomed in to the screen so that only part of the remote is visible. Not only does that mean you can't see many of the buttons, but you can't get to settings or change set top boxes. Tried reinstalling and didn't help. Likely just uninstalling and moving on.
Really good design! Does what i needed it to and i can even mess with my mom at nighttime since it will control her receiver, too. There's a 'custom remote designer' in the Pro edition (a whole $4... Less than a whopper and fries!) and i like using this instead of the systems actual remote, as i most likely have my phone in my hand anyway.
Awesome remote control for DircTV! I use it instead of the remote that come with the system. It's awesome, can use with multiple Geni's or the main box, the app is fully customizable and it is always with me on my phone. I wish I could get the volume plugin to work, but that's OK, I found an app for my TV.
Use to use it frequently instead of having a working remote. Now app doesn't find the genie and my phone says " this app is made for older androids, check for updates? So now buying a new remote.: Re reviewed. Yes I tried those. But no help. Though I ordered a new remote and it works again 2 hours after I did. Idk if it was just the weather here or just the wifi connections. I do like this app for saving and sorting a list of my favorites because the 9 spots they give on the box isn't enough.
Didn't work for me i went to school for networking and it's just not working on my genie I even changed settings to my network followed the developer steps yes both were on the same network and nothing it's the genie. It took me a month or two to get around to trying but the loss in $ is my own fault for not trying sooner could be the LG v30 ive been having problems with idk
I use this all the time!! Since most of the FF and back uttons no longer work, plus my significant other hides the remote, this works perfectly. You can even create a custom remote with only buttons you use. ❤️ It!!
This app is awesome! It does exactally as it says.... My reg remote is fine, however, the buttons do not light up and this does and that's y I got it! That's y I love it!
Nice app. Works as expected. Only wish the boxs recognized the app, so it didn't go into power saving mode.
I have a Samsung Note 9. After purchasing. giving all kinds of permissions to Google and installing it says the app is for an older version of my phone. REALLY!?! HELLO! UPDATE THE APP!
Great job I love this app I reach for it before I reach for the remote. Just wish it had volume control.
Power and volume buttons do not function, which was the only reason I purchased the Pro version.

Horrible inconsistent nightmare
No matter what I tried it wouldn't work
App works like a dream. I downloaded the free version first to make sure it worked as the developer recommended. I was excited just by the developer saying to try the free version first to make sure it is compatible with your phone. I had a few issues at first because I am not tech savvy. The app gives you prompts when you run into a problem. I was able to fix the issue quickly because the instructions were easy to understand and very thorough. Well worth spending $4. I would buy from this developer again
I have this app on both my Galaxy 5 and my Galaxy 4 10.1 inch tablet and could not ask for a better performing app. And with having the volume plug in it also controls several fictions on my Onkyo Home Theater Receiver.... LOVE IT. It is worth every penny spent.
This app still won't allow the volume to work, and when you hit the power button it only turns on the direct tv box, and this stupid app charged me twice so I paid $8 f***** dollars for this retarded app, don't buy this, unless they fix these stupid problems
I bought this app and all worked except for the volume. I emailed them and they got right back with me and told me to make sure that I was pointing my phone directly at the TV and when I tried it the first time it started working great. I am going to buy one for my wife's phone. Very Good App!
This app is awesome! It allows you to design a remote that works best for you! It controls TV, satellite box, and home theatre. I gave it a 4 star because it's a little complicated to get setup, and it also takes 3 apps to get all the features it has to offer, that I'm aware of. Once it's a little less complicated to setup and its in 1 app this would easily be a 5 star app. Definitely the better of all apps I've used, just the most difficult to setup.
Sadly, after 10 years of using this excellent app, I'm uninstalling it. The app works flawlessly and outlasted several physical DirecTV remotes, but alas it's time to leave DirecTV, as so many others have been doing. Thank you to the developer for creating a very useful and well made app, one I used almost daily.
