Runninng 1.8.4 on a Xoom. Was able to get it to run about 3 times for a Mac OSX Snow Leopard. Then I started getting a message "Can't create handler inside thread that has not called Looper.prepare()". On top of that, I get force closes every now and again. Very frustrating, as it did a superb job of displaying multiple screens on my Mac, made it very easy to go thru all of them.
I bought Remote RDP because it works perfect. And I decided to use VNC with wmvare workstation. I expected the same experience. But i cannot test anything: - right mouse click doesn't work - numpad doesn't work - app stopped after 5-10sec of work
the best one I used (no ads version) but no ICS support yet. Will have to look for something else. :(
I also get crashes about color and whatnot issues. Haven't since I set it to 8-bit color though. Its a phone limitation from what I can tell.
This app worked very well on my droid... But not on my nexus 7. Same create handler error as others had.
Doesn't even have a menu option on LG3 so unable to setup. Same on galaxy s5 and galaxy tab s. Serious need of updating.
best of it's kind, both features and interfaces. Crashed some of the time but not frequently.
Having the ability to extend beyond the boarders of the screen allows for easier mouse access. Top rated app for sure. No conflicts galaxy s
Error on my droid x "Transport endpoint is not connected". Left message on help forum but no one replies.
Keyboard input is not case sensitive. Nice for controlling a GUI, useless for a terminal.
More features than Android vnc. Much quicker to connect, vastly better controls and a boatload of options. Ads are there but are unobtrusive.
Works great on my Droid X, with a lot of features other vnc apps lack, but doesn't work on my Transformer Prime. Hopefully it will work on ICS...
Runs for a few minutes, and then its nothing but errors until I reboot my phone - HTC EVO
Left - right clicks with volume up - down. This is all I need for my slideshows. With android Vnc I could not connect to my Mac air.
FC'd on my captivate 2.3 at first, but maybe because I had spaces after host/port. Really flexible, powerful, intuitive. The best free vnc app imo
It's great. Would be more useful if it could do NTLM authentication to use with the ActiveDir Manager App. Plain passwords aren't secure enough for my VNC. Otherwise Excellent.
I've been using this app every Sunday to control my net book. All of a sudden it has started force closing on me.
Worked with connect bot, using ssh connection to our corporate resources. wyse and android vnc was not working. Thanks.
Running x11vnc server on a slackware box. This client works very well with that. Works really well on the galaxy tab. The mouse input is very handy.
Won't connect, force-closes every time. Since androidVNC and pocketcloud have no problem connecting, it's the application that's broken, not my setup. (Remote is qemu on RHEL6 box.)
Used to work great. I have upgraded to ICS and this does not work anymore. make it happen! Will give 5 stars when you add support for ICS, until then i have to find something else that works.
Supports 90 deg screen rotation, has superb color and responsiveness.
Don't leave margin around screen blank tho, you might start getting error messages next time you try to log in
Excellent client and used for years but now on my galaxy s3 it keeps crashing out or failing to connect due to internal errors. Something about unable to use thread that has not gone through some other function. When will it be fixed?
Works great on my Note 2 and HTC Inspire, crashes every time on my Nexus 7 (2013).
I get a brief error message flashed up on the screen when connecting (the Looper.prepare error looks closest), then just a blank screen.
Works great. Only problem is the placement of the adds. But works brilliantly! Better than my desktop at times...
It said "unresolved host". Maybe, I could get it working, if I messed with it long enough. I used AndroidVNC instead.
This is my favourit application in Gingerbread Phone. But when I upgrade my phone to Galaxy Tab 2 with ICS, I can't using this app again. Error message is "can't create handler inside thread that has not called Looper.prepare()". Please update this app.. Good job for developer. Thanks
