Repeat Player (No Ad)

[excellent!! I updated to the latest one 3.3.2, it works fine now. Thanks] Before upgrading to android 12, I am using this well. I can control the prev/next and stop/start via my bluetooth ear buds. (pixel buds A) However, after upgrading, the tap control does not work. It seems app issue, because I can use the tap control on other app (podcast and AEE). not sure if you have plan to fix this or not. I do hope so. This is a very good app.

Very easy to use! Very well put together, the one thing that just urks me a lil bit is that there isnt a way to cut audio ;-;

I use it for my music and it's very good, no ads, no pay-walls, just a good audio player. Somethings I would like to see would be a shuffle button and also a feature to be able to move around your folders, please take this into consideration if possible. Other than that, 100% reccomend.

A great, simple app that does it's job very well. The feature to only play certain parts is incredibly useful. The only reason this isn't 5 stars is that it's quite irritating to have to set where you want it to play from and too every single time, and I believe it would be much better for the app to save these checkpoints for each individual song, so you don't have to set them every time.

I wanted a simple audio player with a button to skip back a few seconds during podcasts. Such a simple requirement, but so hard to find. This app does exactly what I want, and does it well. As a bonus it takes up hardly any space on my phone. Dispensing with bells and whistles that most other audio apps have, but that are of no interest to me, makes it compact.

Recently the app is having a hard time differentiating between files on an sd card and files on the system itself. It can still read thise files (i have a playlist) but it cant seem to find them. My files are on my sd card but what it thinks is my sd card is actually my phone's native memory. any chance this could get fixed? I do like the app, and have for a while, but this is more than a little inconvenient. edit : I did delete app data, I uninstalled and then reinstalled. Neither option worked

This is good for listening for listening to and practicing foreign language dialogues. It would be a lot better if you could rewind and fast forward from the drop-down notification, as well as from your headphones. Right now instead of that, it skips forward or backward a whole audio file

I needed an AB repeat audio player for language learning, the old one I had was 7 years old, still working, but dated. I didn't realise how difficult it was to find a sensible alternative, some were over complicated, others too simple, some did not work, some were quite useless! Having evaluated so many, I finally found Repeat Player by Darby, which gave me everything I needed, a nice clear interface, which was well layed out and practical, simple to use, whilst still giving me all the functions and versitility that I needed. It has taken hours of searching and testing, but Repeat Player by Darby, is now my main default player for language learning. Well done to the developer, you have designed something that others have been unable to do!

This is 5 stars, and moreover, it's free! Other options require you to pay for full features, but one is highly sofisticated with lots of features. Short guide: Goto 3rd section, navigate to your music. Tapping one of your music files will cause it to loop through all the music in the folder. To only loop one specific music file do: Check the box next to the music you want to loop, add to list, create new list, name it "Current" for example then go to 2nd section and tap your music from there

It's good it would be better if it did not shut off YouTube by playing it but it works

A great app for playing audio files repeatedly to learn /memorise a language or dialogues etc with sleep timer functionality which is just super. It would be ultimate if the timed break feature is added where it takes a break for a given time and then resumes along with scheduled start on a daily basis. *******

I personally love this app. It's exactly what I needed too. It let's me repeat a song that can loop for eternity, it let's me loop a Playlist of my choice, it even let's me decide the speed of the audio playing. I recommend this to anyone who wants to do what I described above. 100/100.

Frustrated for months and perhaps years for lack of progress in my listening skill in Spanish.. this app is a God given answer to my prayer. With a tap of finger I can easily go back 5 seconds. Also I can vary the speed of the Spanish conversation that I'm listening to. For those two features this app is downright VERY VERY USEFUL in my book !

Worked pretty well for about 6 months, some bugs here and there like the repeat flags aliding out of place after using split window mode with it and Color Note, but otherwise it worked well. However yesterday, for no apparent reason it just stopped loading properly. Whenever I open it now it just freezes and does nothing, eventually prompting the Android UI to ask if I want to close the app forcefully or wait for it to load. Installing older versions didn't fix it unfortunately.

Well simple and excellent for listening class lectures. You can go as fast/slow as you want. While transcribing lectures this feature is really helpful.

Simple app but it does a very good job. I just wished we could save the repeating patterns instead of entering them in every time.

Very useful piece of app:simple interface, succinct features, and minimum gaudy presentation. It's good for note reciting or language practice. One down side there is though:it's drastic simplism skips definitions of some function keys. I'd appreciate a makeover in the next upgrade release. Thanks a lot.
