Republic Bank Mobile Banking

I have used this app in the past & it worked great. I recently re-signed up & had a very difficult time when i tried taking a picture of the back of check! The "endorse here" and "write mobile deposit" kept getting in the way corners/edges of check and kept denying photo. It took WAY too long!! Convenient but not worth the aggravation.

The app regularly refuses to let me log in, even when my password is correct. I've been locked out of my account multiple times, and every time it stops accepting my password after I've had it for a week at most. A great app if you can manage to log in, but useless if it won't accept valid passwords.

I continue to have problems with the updated app on my Note 9. It's really hard to take pictures of checks I'm trying to deposit with this new version of the app. I try multiple times, but my deposits keep getting rejected. When I try to tale pictures of the back of the check the camera is reversed.. i have to to move the phone left to go right and up to go down.. its pretty hopeless..Its really a problem since I live out of town now.

overall pretty happy, a few things I would like to do , like transfer to another person's account but can't do that. When the app shows available balance that DOES NOT mean you can use it . You could still get charged an overdraft, if a deposit hasn't "posted" yet even though it says available

Updates ruined mobile deposit. It is easier to drive to the bank than to achieve a successful image. Do not bother until this is fixed. Update 12/3/18: Still terrible. I am not sure how they ruined this through the app coding, but they did. I regularly deposited checked easily before and it regularly fails now. The app adds non-existent shadows even in brightly lit conditions, then Republic rejects the deposit as illegible. I am a 10 year Republic client switching my banking services to a bank that allows me to actually utilize mobile deposit.

Barely works. Can't enable texting to verify identity because the app freezes up. Also can't verify my identity with a phone call because their automated system tells me I'm dialing an invalid extension when I hit #. Just switched to Republic. I'll be leaving now.

This banking app is absolutely the best I've ever had. Its user friendly and seems to be very protective. I can seamlessly do everything I need to do right from my app. The only thing i cant do is withdraw money from my phone like an atm lol. I personally love the app. Also I would recommend Republic Bank as a whole to anyone. Republic Bank is the best bank I've ever been apart of. Thanks for all the hard work

Mobile deposit is so easy with this app. It even makes sure the amount is correct before depositing. Best bank app ever! Everything banking, all you need, right here in 1 simple to use (a dummy like me can navigate it) easy to understand app. Thanks Republic! Your great!

I don't like that when a bill gets paid, it disappears from the scheduled list and sometimes doesn't show up in the accounts until 1 or 2 days later. I have to search the payee to ensure it was scheduled. Makes me doubt that I paid it.

Works well transfers are always quick an Exactly how I wanted them. App has always been up an running. Occasionally I go to check my pending transactions an there no where to be found. But otherwise it works how I need it to. Good app

So far my experience with this app has been great. Extremely convenient and love the fact that all my accounts are listed with balances and pending balances. I wish it will stop resetting my finger log in. But overall great app.

I can only give one star to this App because they need to go back in and do something about the issues of people trying to log into this App, without it locking some of us out of our accounts! Just got off the phone having my account unlocked, verified all my info with the CSR, rest the password, hung up & ATTEMPTED to login...AGAIN, it did not allow me to login with the new password! I'm like so done with this Appand Republic!

Easy to use. Simple and straight forward. Does everything a normal user might need without countless layers and micro text and constant Ads to upsell additional products. No PhD required. Bravo.

The app is OK for most uses, except for depositing checks; which is time consuming and should be modified and simplified. Again on August 5, 2020 please note tgat it is VERY HARD TO take a picture. This has been reported to you before as well as to people at the local branch. We are happy with the bank in general but the application for checks deposots MUST BE REVISED to make it more practical. We also do business with other banks and their application for depositing checks is very easy.

Mobile deposit doesn't work on my Pixel 3. I can tap the screen all day and the phone won't take a picture. The app is mostly useless without this feature.

I do not like the setup for the mobile deposit. You have to hold the camera study for 3 or 4 seconds which can be a little bit difficult at times. I don't understand why I can't be more like the business account and you just click on it and take the picture and you're done. That would make things a lot easier and the app in my opinion more useful

I love this app! So easy to use. I was able to open my savings account all from the app instead of going into bank. Love being able to transfer money to savings all from the app.

Once you have identified a devices why can't log on without verifying them. I usually do this on my computer but it is having a problem now, so whether I choose my tablet or my phone the process starts again.

Awesome, convenient and accurate, I love it, especially for a disabled person who can't do all the running around anymore.. It's perfect, thank you Republic Bank😇

Had extreme difficulty capturing picture of back of check. Kept wanting me to hold steady when I was very steady and as steady as I was when it captured the front.

LOVE Republic Bank! However, I wish that you would support Chromebooks. The app continually crashes when I try to use it. Very frustrating!

The app is always down for maintenance or always trouble opening the app. They need to fix it. Very hard to check balances and do things with your money when you can't access it.

Great customer service. Always friendly and they take care of whatever problem I am calling about quickly. App is super user friendly.

I hate the new update , everything used to be separated and sorted. Now everything is all together and even the font change isn't good, it hurts my eyes to look at . I'm very disappointed in the app update. It made it worse instead of better

Easy and fast to use. Just what's needed to manage funds on the fly. Plus, alot of account information availabile easily and quickly.

Mobile deposit is frustrating to use as it places black shadows over the check if it's not perfectly smooth and it needs lighting from multiple sources.

The Republic Bank app makes it easy to handle routine banking tasks from the comfort of your recliner. I really enjoy the mobile deposit feature, so I don't even have to go to the bank to deposit a check.
