The app is ok, but it should be a replica of exactly what you can do via the website online banking. Example; add Payee for transfers, add views for Pending Transactions etc. I really do look forward for a more useful app, as it is not practical to be moving back and forth between and website and app wasting time to do transactions the app cannot do.
This app works very well. The user interface is simple to use and allows me to view my account info with ease. I've been using it for a while and haven't experienced any bugs or issues. People having trouble with their passwords probably didn't set up their mobile account properly (which is separate from the Web account)
There are a lot of bugs that need to be addressed the app is taking me to a blank screen after saying session has expired and that it. No log in options nothing just a blank screen and this isn't even the first issue I've had with this app after reinstalling it.
I agree with another user who gave the app 1 star, only so that a review can be submitted but it really deserves LESS THAN ZERO stars as it is THE absolute pits! The MPIN field NEVER populates while the user is entering the characters, then various error msgs are subsequently displayed e.g. no spaces allowed and, of course, the one that says you've made X no. of unsuccessful attempts so far, blah, blah, blah. Do better, RBL! It's 2020!
Nice app...great for doing most of my online transaction. The problem I have is that your transaction records are not instant, also sometimes when you try to look at your credit current transactions it says "no transaction or no records available" but nice app really convenient.
Easy to navigate and everything functions the way I want it (ie. VTM transfers, statements, balances).However I wish the app itself was more modern with updated icons and a more visual layout of accounts and balances.
The app is supposed to provide a user friendly experience where one can conduct most transactions, however I can't add accounts to transfer money unless I go online so what's the purpose of the app. At first I was able to, now I cannot. Please upgrade...
Works great for all basic online transactions with multiple Accounts access. Limited in respect to Security, but my Laptop takes over for the full online of Services. Eg. No need to line up again unless it's required.
Downloaded this app twice and promptly uninstalled it. Keeps telling me about some registration number or sign up at the bank. I don't want to go to the damn bank, that's the point of this app. To see my balance , pay bills etc. without having to leave my house unnecessarily all the damn time.
0 stars update 29/12/19 the app suddenly has a date glitch making the transaction history impossible. Old review: App is designed ok enough but is glitchy and takes days to update transactions that are supposed to be instant. So in its current state it is useable but handicapped.
What I don't like about the app is the constant crashing that I have to uninstall and reinstall. Once the app functions it allows me to perform my transactions perfectly.
So its pretty convenient to check balances etc.. atleast when its working good.. however recently its been extra specially annoying .. really ain't nothing to beat a good ole blue book/line up in the bank/ fass service yes!
This is the only banking app that I cannot get to log into on my phone. All the rest works. After the intial new user set up, it is asking me for the old transaction password and new transaction password and you only have 3 attempts at this. It is not taking the password I am putting in so I cannot get pass this point which I am not even supposed to be getting according to one of your CSR's
Can't even update the app successfully to use on my mobile. I keep getting a looped message to update and when I do the app opens to a msg to update again.
It is fairly good app. Unless tech savvy persons can have some problems. My only issue is fact that you cannot add payees in app as this can only be done by the website login version. Plz allow payees to be added in app, thank you.
This app got 1 star so that I can leave a review, would have preferred to give 0 star. The app is useless because it says wrong password everytime I put in my mpin, then it tells me I have 2 more attempts after using the 2nd attempt it told me I tried 3x... Then I tried using new user as it suggested only for it to tell me I am not an activated user! Thought this would have been helpful instead of having to use the laptop but I still have to resort to online banking after all. Please fix asap🙏
It's really convenient. It's fairly easy to use. Though I still don't understand the cardless cash thing. Is there anyway I could see the current balance at point of each deposit and withdrawal? That would be really helpful.
When I try to log in, a section named "security questions" comes up but there are no questions...I click "submit" and it says that my security questions have been submitted...when I click "ok" it goes back to the screen with "security questions" and again I don't see anything...it happens over and over...this is frustating
Can someone explain why, in 2019, that we still have apps like this? This is one of the most clunky, dated, and buggy apps i have ever used. To see how to make a mobile banking app, please refer to RBCs version. You're welcome!
I've been using this app for some years now and haven't had any issues, until recently I've updated the app like 4 days ago and whenever upon login into my account it's keep saying the app is down due to maintenance work. Can yall please fix the issue
Works fine for me prior to update, then noticed no support for Android 10. Update rendered the app useless. Would've rated it higher had support been there.
App is very basic. Other banks allow you to set alerts etc which makes it easier to notice if your account is being tampered with.
I'm unable to log in after switching my phone. It keeps telling me I'm not an activated user and then when I try to activate it, it says user already activated. Then when I go to manage activated devices on my old device I have no idea how to activate this new device sigh...such a waste
The app works ok if all you use it for is to check balances and pay bills to registered payees. The biggest drawback is that you cannot add payees using the app. Forcing you to either use the web browser on your phone, which I might add is quite annoying, or use a computer to access the browser versión. We need an upgrade. Refer to the Scotia or RBC app for guidance.
