Need a pause button! I also wish instead of switching sides mid way, I'd rather repeat for the full time on the other side. These apps would be way better. It's not challenging enough switching mid way and at the same time I don't want to extend my workout time just to accommodate this. There could be less repeat of the exercises or get rid if similar exercises to accommodate this. This goes for all of the apps!
The app is easy to follow and if you are new to the resistance bands, it can provide you with plenty of exercises to do. However, the " get ready" time of 10 sec seems a bit too short. Plus, after a few weeks of usage, one gets bored of always having the same workouts. I'd suggest adding new workouts and allowing the user to set the " get ready " time manually . Also, lately there seems to be a glitch, when the app suddenly looses sound or stops responding. I hope that can be resolved.
Not a terrible app, but if you're new to the bands and these types of work outs the app really isn't user friendly. (I'm sure a ton of us are given then pandemic and making whatever we can work) there aren't any tutorials on movement, band placement ect. Diagrams and links to videos would be helpful. Set up time between workouts is really fast, specially (again) if you're new and trying to figure it all out on the fly. If you're a veteran to the bands and already familiar its probably better
It's dope, I use this as my exercise for the day - 20 minutes, rotating the 4 default workouts. I've noticed a difference in my body and the pain I used to get in my legs from the aftermath of my operations have gone, too. It asks you how the workout was at the end every single time and alters it for the next time you work out depending on what you said, which is amazing. Only downside is sometimes when you skip a certain exercise it'll skip to the exact same one until you can't skip anymore
Easy and safe to use for strength building. Most important guided video is very much helpful. The voice guide help manage time and sufficient workout. Anyone can use it. Free version itself is good enough. However, if anyone wants more from this app then paid version is added advantage.
This app works fine without Premium, but for $1.99, it's definitely worthwhile, because the ability to make customized resistance band workouts is something I can't find anywhere else and it's really easy to pause workouts if you need a little more time to adjust resistance bands, unlike in other apps.
Am really enjoying the app and paid to support the developer. Disappointed that there's only one chest exercise (should have chest presses and banded push-ups too) and should also include deadlifts for back. In the custom workouts, it would be nice to be able to delete exercises and set rests periods after any given number of exercises, which would be beneficial for circuits.
I bought this app and there's hardly any moves and if you set a workout it's the same ones each time. Unless it's full body. Had it for an hour, uninstalled. At least the developer cares enough to write back and contact. I'm sorry the app wasn't for me. Thanks for offering a refund martin, the app does work for other people so keep it.
This application is great if you want a good experience with lower body exercises. For me, I was looking for more workouts geared towards my chest/triceps and this application just does not have what I'm looking for. Having to pay $2.00 to unlock the upper body section of the app was a bit of a let down when the workouts provided weren't adequate for a full upper body experience. This app is built very well for people looking for simple workout routines but doesn't suit my needs.
I love the Fitify apps! Choose how much time you have, and it picks the exercises for you. I always have a hard time deciding which exercise to do and I let it gets overwhelming. Fewer decisions means I'm more likely to actually DO something, and I can chose as little as 5 minutes.
Omg I'm sold! I've never used bands before *ever* and it was so easy to get into position, I set it to 20 seconds "get ready" lol. My first 5 minutes full body literally sold me and I bought the premium version for less than a cup of fancy coffee. Kudos to to the developer, this is a fine app! I hardly ever purchase but I knew right away this was the one for me & wanted to support it, it's just THAT GOOD. Thank you for the excellent app for a good price. 👍
Needs a CORE section As I'm just starting out with resistance bands, I've found this app really useful, but have to say, I'm quite disappointed by the lack of core specific exercises. Literally 1!Having to use YouTube in addition, to get a more targeted core workout. If a core section was added I'd give this 5 stars. Also be good to see in general more variety of exercises, for each section.
Thorough exercises, good modeling of form, , good pace. Glad I saw in another review that you can pause by hitting the timer, that's helpful since I had to change bands for some exercises. Paid for the upgrade to support the developer. Have since downloaded other Fitify apps. Quality stuff, thanks!
Not very good. Explanation for exercises are bare bones, timing is all messed up and doesn't take into account switching set ups so you are forced to keep pausing. Not a lot of customization and the exercise list is pretty limited. Waste of $2 if you ask me
Solid, simple app made for a good workout. Pay the dollar for the full app, partial access is irritating with only some workouts available. Decent selection of movements but could use an update for more, specifically for chest. More of an intro to resistance band workouts but it works well.
Shocking shocking shocking. No time to adjust your bands from exercise to exercise especially if you have your bands wall mounted!!!. The timing is just all off with this app. It has the potential to be a great app but they have a lot of tidying up to do.
Just started using, paid for the premium, app is really good except wished you could add your own excersises that aren't on the app, in the custom workout, even if there wasnt an example gif, just to name one so it adds time to the workout and works with the rests.
I like that it can be used offline. I like that I can set a workout timer. Good mix of exercises, well demonstrated. Suggestions for future: include glider/slider exercises, outdoor and playground workouts, beginner calsethics, flows.
It's a nice app, which adapts to your progress. The animations are really helpful to learn. Overall a simple app which doesn't need subscription, very useful for beginners and pros alike.
Great collection and a neat UI. Look forward to addition of more exercises especially for Chest. Cons: Does not send data to Google Fit. Changing sides in middle of exercise takes away a few seconds.
Excellent app, excellent workout exercises. I only started 2 days ago and I'm already hooked. I'd recommend a pause button between exercises aside from time intervals just in case someone is not used to some exercises. Best regards :)
Best Band workout app. I love it, would be even better if it was Wear OS watch capable. This way doesn't matter where I am can workout without my phone or tablet. Keep up the great work out Martin
Love it. Allows random or customized sessions. Has plenty of exercises. Great for those days you wanna get away from free weights, plus has alot of Cardio endurance built in. You can also customize your time dor quicker sessions and higher intensity.
Love that it's a resistance band, but...it should have a preview so I can prepare the bands needed before I start. Although it can be paused so I can prepare, I feel like I lose my enthusiasm. Then again, I haven't nor had enough time to break it in being that I only used it twice. I'll update when I get some experience, but so far, it's great app for resistance if not the first I have come across. Good job in your effort because I WAS SURPRISED how many exercises you came up with bands,:)
