Best app
This small app can work with either typing in values or selecting color bands. I prefer to type in my value. Its then shows the resistor and sets the number of bands according to the tolerance. When next higher or next lower are pressed the nearest STANDARD values are shown. Resistors are normally manufactured with STANDARD values. When you design a circuit you need to ask for a STANDARD value resistor.

This app helped me sort out my box of over one thousand resistors. Really useful with different amounts of lines and you can convert colours into values and values into colours :)
Why does a resistor calculator need full network access and need to know about other network access? Ads. OK. Why do you need to know about other network activity? What are you capturing and where are you sending it?

Just what I was looking for. I have recently got into building crystal radios, this is a great tool to figure out what resistor is needed when reading a schematic.

colors are off touch brown and green shows, you touch red and orange shows as well as the wrong value. Installed and uninstalled on Vizio tablet with Android 2.3 os.
