The ReSound Smart 3D™ app is compatible with the following hearing aids:

The ReSound Smart 3D app lets you control your hearing aids directly from your mobile device. You can change programs, and make simple or more advanced sound adjustments and save them as favorites. The app helps you learn what you can do and how to do it. It can even help you find your hearing aids if you lose them. Last, but not least, you can have your hearing care professional update your hearing aid programs and send you new hearing aid software without taking a trip to the clinic.

Well, my hearing doctor/audiologist said this is about the best app. If so, I'd hate to see the others. This one drops one or the other ears from the bluetooth connection periodically (whenever it feels like it). You have to reboot the phone to get it to re-connect. I have a Samsung Note20 Ultra with the latest software and I just got the app 5/26/2022, so I know it's the latest. So what?! Still doesn't maintain the connection. Other than that, which is a real pain, it does what it advertises,ok

UPDATE: I tried for the 100th+ time after spending hours on this for days, and all of a sudden they immediately connected. *My aids won't pair with the app anymore. I've had this set since December 2021, and while they are not my favorite, I've slowly gotten used to them. The app drops connectivity from time to time, but the last few days it won't connect at all. I've unpaired, and now they won't pair at all. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app. Nothing works. I use a Samsung Galaxy S10.

Bought my resound Hearing Aides Feb. Of 2021 and had no problems until after "Updating" the APP. Now only one will pair with my phone and I have to reset the phone to get them both connected and that only lasts for a short while, then one of the aids will randomly lose signal again. I see that I am not the only one with the same issues after updating the app. UPDATE...May 9, 2022 and still no change. Did all the "Quick fixes" and nothing getting fed up with having to restart the phone constantly

This app is TERRIBLE. Won't stay connected to hearing aids. Have to reconnect at least twice a day and maybe if your lucky you can get them to reconnect the 1st try. However it usually takes several tries to get them reconnect and than not always will the app connect with the hearing aids. Hopefully someone either fixs this apps so it works. But at the present time the app is pretty worthless!

Very bad app. Does NOT stay connected to your hearing aids. I have to reconnect daily if not more. Hearing aids are great but this app is NOT! Read comments but DON'T believe any of the solutions listed. VERY MISLEADING AND JUST NOT TRUE! This app also continues to open in DEMO MODE and you cannot get out of it unless you DELETE and REINSTALL THE APP. AND when you reinstall the App, BLUETOOTH has the hearing aids but the app cannot find them!!! PLEASE FIX

Yesterday I received and installed the latest software update and now everything works as it should. No problems with connectivity or with the many amazing Smart 3D app features. I have a Samsung S21 phone using Android 12. There were many times when I was ready to give up in frustration, but I'm glad I hung in there. For now, all is well. UPDATE: One week later and connection problems have returned. Still frustrated!

I previously had trouble with the direct audio streaming after the update because I didn't want it connected all the time and left a bad review; however, Resound reached out and helped me in such a timely matter that I would like to rectify that. 5 stars for their great assistance! They walked me through the steps to turning it off and still be connected via bluetooth for just the hearing aid settings. Thank you support team!!

UPDATE: Same issues even after I tried the 21+ step "fix" they sent via email. OP: If I could give 0 stars I would. Very frustrating. I can never get the app to connect to both hearing aids at the same time for more than a few minutes. It's one or the other but never both. I have tried re-installing, toggling bluetooth, disconnecting, and unpairing. Nothing fixes the issue. With only one HA connected I cannot turn the volume up enough to hear clearly on a call or stream a show. App is useless.

The rating will only go up if I can turn off steaming and calls. Calls are hard to hear and No one can understand me. and I'd like to have the option to turn calls and streaming need to be off but your app is not user friendly enough to just disconnect for that reason. Plus when I walk away from my phone for any reason my hearing aids lose their setting. Not sure why they can't just keep the setting it very annoying.

I've had my Resound ONE aids for 4 months, and have NEVER been able to get direct audio streaming to work with my android phone. I even purchased a new Samsung A32 phone, had the phone provider check to be sure it is compatible, etc. I have paired, unpaired, re-paired, installed, unistalled, and reinstalled the Smart 3d app, etc., - several times. The aids connect to the app and I can change the volume, program, etc., but CANNOT get audio streaming (i.e., can't hear the phone sounds).

Before the last update they seemed to word flawlessly. I am experiencing the same frustration that so many others are. The app will freeze and indicate bother hearing aids are connected even though the Bluetooth is toggled off in the phone and the hearing aids are both off. This requires uninstalling the app and reinstalling before they will connect again. It usually will not connect to both and when it does within a short time one will drop and it requires reparing. $4000 boat anchors.

I am running Android 12 on my Samsung Note 10. This software was never great over the past year but now it's useless. When I mentioned to audiologist that one hearing would disconnect without warning, she had me reinstall the app on my phone even though I had all software updates applied. Then she updated the software in my hearing aids. Now we cannot pair the hearing aids with the phone because only one hearing aid is connected after they come out of the charger during the pairing process.

Terrible App connection. Multiple times every day I have to restart my phone S20+ because the app randomly disconnects and will not reconnect. The only way I can get it to reconnect is to restart the phone and reconnect the app or simply un-install the app and reinstall and reconnect the hearing aid. This is my last time buying Resound hearing aids. I spent a lot of money for this and it refuses to work.

spent big bucks on my hearing aides. Initially I was pleased. Unfortunately I've had to send them out for repairs repeatedly. The battery door breaks. Now that they're out of warranty I'm responsible for the repairs. After the third repair I should have been given new hearing aides. The app worked great in the beginning but issues with it now. All day long I get the message right hearing aid disconnected. It's not. Annoying. I expect better for the money I laid out.

The absolute amateurishness of the way direct streaming is implemented is shocking. Essentially when I am in a meeting on MS Teams on Windows I have to use the TV Streamer because there is no direct streaming from a Windows laptop. I have muted the phone. That seems to help with notifications. But with some apps the direct streaming takes over and mutes the TV streamer. I could not find any way to turn off the direct streaming while in a meeting.

An app that used to work well now doesn't. I have to restart my android phone in order for both hearing aids connect now. This seems to be a recent issue after an android update. The app has had an update since then but it did not fix the problem. I hope it is addressed soon. Very frustrating and time consuming.

Not able to connect my hearing aid in the app after so many times reinstalling the app in samsung a52 . It was working fine a month before .. but now it's not working and am not able to use the volume for taking inco.ing and outgoing calls .. very frustrated.. So you mean to say samsung a52 phone was compatible before but now it's not .... this not good reason .. pls do make it work as it's so frustrating that I cannot hear anything in crowded places or in any functions ..

Update your damn software!! These worked fine until my Samsung S20 Ultra 5G had a software/security update about a month ago. Every since they haven't been able to pair whenever I take them out of the charging case. I unpair and pair them everyday and they both connect fine after that, but will not make the connection within the app. The app is garbage and needs to be fixed ASAP!!!

It constantly drops the left hearing aid. It connects an in a few minutes the left aid is disconnected. Even when it does connect the sound is scratchy and breaks up. The audiologist says there's nothing wrong with the aids. It's great for adjusting the bass, volume ect then turn off the app

It is not serving any purpose without streaming. Let us do this. You ask little bit of money to download streaming app. We can happily pay you that because we paid for the hearing aids itself. All smartphones tend to become unsmart and slow within 2yrs due to software updates. So don't give excuse of performance of app to tie-in to specific phone models. You are supposed to sell hearing aids, not phones.

Unfortunately, the app is dated and fails to perform many functions like streaming music and phone calls. Most importantly, it fails to install updates. The list of minuses is quite long despite the fact that it is central to controlling the very expensive hearing aid sold to customers.

Worked great with android 11. When the phone upgraded to android 12 it only connected to one side. What seems to happen is the smart things app connects to aids before the resound app. When this happens if I reboot my phone and as soon as possible after it reboots (before smart things app connects to my aids) I start my resound app the blue tooth connection will show 2 aids instead of 1. And everything works ok for a while.

Thus app does not connect to android like it does with Apple. Hearing devices keep getting interference, no mather how much you adjust them. I got a 2 stars because I got them free through the military and they work okay. I wish I could here music through them without needing another device hanging on me to make the connection.

I liked this app once upon a time. Stream quality degraded. Unable to stay connected to the left hearing aid. You contacted me and said because I was in USA that I was being turned over to someone stateside. Really! I have been waiting for months to hear from someone here in the US.

Developer gave me a work around until the fix comes out. If I go out of the BT range and then back into range. Go to setting, BT, then disable/enable BT. The aids will work again. So far this has worked. Looking forward to the fix. UPDATE: Sometimes this doesn't work. I found, turn phone off wait 30secs turn on phone, they are connected.

+++++UPDATE 2++++ So, now 2 months without a functional app. I've already had the email conversation with "support". I was told the aids are for me to hear better and they do. The Bluetooth connectivity is just an extra. It's an extra I paid a premium for. Perhaps replacing these aids with an updated, functional at Resound's cost would be a possible++++UPDATE++++ Apparently Resound is aware of the problems with the app crashing. One "fix" I received was to turn off Bluetooth. Hardly a solution.

cannot seem to stay connected to one of the hearing aids on a v. new phone. I've connected and reconnected and reset connection, deleted pairings, cleaned cache, restarted phones. more times than I can count. when it works, it's great, mostly it doesn't work
