Respect of the Realm

Respect. Honor. Power.
Are you clever enough to rise to the top of the medieval world?

SINGLE PLAYER HISTORIC STRATEGY
Manage your barons, collect taxes, equip your armies, negotiate alliances, and build your empire across some of the greatest conflicts from medieval history. Match wits against the French monarchy and Holy Roman Empire during the 100 years war or battle in the desert as the European Crusaders take on the Seljuk Turks, in the First Crusade. Each faction provides unique AI personalities and challenges in this surprisingly sophisticated feudal sim.

BALANCED LEADERSHIP
Respect of the Realm is an authentic economic and tactical simulation where the goal is to keep one step ahead of your enemies. Manage your knights, upgrade your weapons, and compete for strategic territories. Use spies to track down your rivals' supply wagons, infiltrate enemy defenses, bolster your own defenses with heavy weaponry and send your toughest knights on raids into enemy territory. But don't forget to keep an eye on your own men; RESPECT is everything and disloyalty is your greatest enemy. If a soldier steps out of line, you need to respond. Settle disputes, quell rebellions, promote your barons, throw lavish feasts, track down valuable rumors, secure rare weapons and appease the church with well-placed donations.

EASY TO LEARN, CHALLENGING TO MASTER
Don't let the retro style fool you; Respect of the Realm is an unforgiving simulation of power in the dark ages, full of honor, deceit, risks and rewards.

Three difficulty settings, two game modes, and advanced AI provide a range of challenges for beginners and true strategy veterans.

Playable maps include: Northern France during the 100 years war (free) and the Crusades (unlockable). Future planned releases include the Mongol invasion of Kiev and the Genpei war in Japan.

For fans of Respect Money Power, this game builds on the same engine with enhanced game tuning and the following additions: Fortifications & Infiltrators, More weapons, Armor, Shields, Truces, Duels, Wisdom stat, Easier 'easy' setting, Harder 'hard' setting, Faster end-game, Ability to turn off the tutorials, More advice events, More recruitment options, Modified Respect, Piety and Valor systems, and Assassins.

The game is good and exciting! Fresh ideas, perfect game plays. 1. It just need some elaborations/improvements on micro informations. For example, the Barons opinion should be auto prompt before the next round start. 2. And, by the way the game is quite messy, too many things happen at the same time. The concept is too hard to grasp, even though from the devs perspective it is just easy as 1+1. Keep up the good work!

It was fun to play once. I played on Medium got 54127. Has a lot of bizarre flaws, though. There's no point defending territory. Attacker has a huge advantage. Game is easy once you realize that. Also, you can just move any knights wherever you want, which is bizarre. On one turn, my troops in province 1 attacked province 2, and on the same turn the enemy's troops in province 2 attacked me in province 1! 🤔 Maybe they passed each other along the way? Creates a lot of bizarre battles. Response to developer: The game will be good if I pay? Not the most convincing point.

Edit: Another problem I've found is that after you learn the game well enough, there is an "exiled by the church" feature that's designed to get rid of your strongest units to artificially keep you behind the the CPU. The game says that this is based on piety, but I've had 17-20 piety units get exiled repeatedly, and bribing does nothing to help. The only commonality is that the units always have very high power. The sole purpose is to artificially weaken you.

Very entertaining micromanagement game! Every turn involves a lot of plotting and analysis in order to succeed (or you could just blunder about and hope you get lucky). I would like to see more maps in the future, otherwise I'll be playing this for quite awhile.

Cool game, fun concept and its interesting to experiment with different tactics to win, build your army and make revenues. More options to control and command realm, and army intelligence options would be great, but apart from that its a good play.

Very confusing game. I don't understand the combat or how the AI somehow constantly claps me on the easiest difficulty. I'm not sure if I'm just dumb or the game is confusing but either way I feel like after 5 or 6 games I shouldn't be constantly getting destroyed by the AI or at least have some idea why but as it stands I have quite litterally no idea why I love fights with more men with better gear and higher power.

Purchased the Jerusalem pack and I am unable to access the content. The game says I need to purchase extra content although I have already bought it. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, to no effect. Clicked the 'Recover' button next to the unlock content option and it says "unlocking" but proceeds to still lock me out of the content. Very unacceptable, I will be getting a refund.

Interesting little game. I'm about halfway through the first run and there is a lot going on right now. I like these games with heavy story elements and low data requirements as that's an indication of efficient programming. Some devs go overboard pushing the limits of a platform. This works well for a mobile game.

I love the premise of this game. The only reason i gave it a 4 star is because of the extreme difficulty of the enemy AI even on easy. They simply spam knights with power score above 13 equipped with the best gear so early on while i'm still struggling to micro manage equipment to my knights and barons. Its not fair for me because everytime i try to engage or defend my lands the enemy is already too powerful to beat. Please fix the difficulty of the AI or make it easier for us to get better gear

The game is simple and different than other games I've found so far on the Play Store. Not to mention that it is free. The game is mostly free of noticeable bugs, but I did have one where I had to close the app to continue. Nevertheless, the game is simple and executed what it wants rather well.

The game is pretty straight forward, Raiding is easy. Pop down a few spies in the enemy controled area, then place your best attackers(power rating with best equipment.) Boom. Raid won. The hard part is the damn piety and banishment stuff. It's annoying. Why can't we ignore the damn church? They banish all my good Baron's and Knight's. Weakening my overall power and income. I no longer have the game installed. I might re-install later on, though.

Excellent strategy game, I love that all teams turns occur at once. Hunting down supply wagons, defending provinces you need, striking the enemy in the right spot. It's all great. I would suggest added a way to sort knights by loyalty and piety.

it's a lot easier to play and win then their other games, such improvement from your early days. I guess the next step from here would to be where, you can implement a multi-player type of feature were if like 4 people connect to the same Wi-Fi, they can verse each other locally.

Im really not sure what to rate this. Looks great, and as far as I can tell, plays great too. However, I get to the screen to customize my duke, and cannot continue! Will raise rating if I can get some help!

I love this game, but I feel as though it needs more features cause I have downloaded the game 3 separate times, because I'll play it for 3 hours then I get bored and then I delete it. And then 2 months later I do it again. I just hope in the future more features are added. But overall it's a great game.

It's pretty fun so far. Not much in the way of art or animation, but it runs smooth and quick, and is pretty balanced. Not sure why feasts are so expensive.

Trying to figure out how to make money with my governors on my lands. I seem only to be losing money, when I have two governors on each territory, supposedly making money for me. So, why is it that each time I check, or end my turn, all I'm doing is losing money, not making any? I have to reset the game, lose my experienced knights and barons, and start over again! And the tutorial teaches nothing about what I should do! I'm NOT spending money on this game, devs!
