Heard it from friend and I had to try it out. So far I have only tried it once. Really handy and easy way of buying leftover food. It's fast, reliable and foods sold in it are cheap and delicious. Payment also works flawlessly.
A good concept and a good service. After using for some time I have a concern that some sellers use this platform as a platform to sell non rescued as the price of some items are not reduced by much.
the app is easy to use and all the meals i've resqued have been excellent. monthly stats with helpful descriptions of saved CO2 for example are a nice touch. unfortunately most of the meals (posted by restaurants) are in finnish, although the app works in english.
The UX/UI of the app is well done. It's so pleasant to use, quick and efficient. I love many options for notifications, to see where the place is, how to get there. Job well done! I can't comment much about the restaurant part as used it so far once with yummy cheap food.
Very easy to use. Accurate, prompt information on the newest offers. Reminders sent close to the pick up time and map function is great too in locating the place of order. Perfect for stay-at-home moms & dads.
ResQ Club is a brilliant way to save food that would otherwise get thrown away and try all kinds of different foods at reasonable prices. I like that ResQ Club users can filter the food options by their dietary requirements because I'm vegan, and I like that users can leave feedback for the restaurants.
Businesses don't understand the concept of selling their excess food before it's wasted. That's the main issue with this app. You've got other companies such as Too good To go instructing their restaurants to be generous with their portions, giving enough to feed multiple people with €5-€10, and here everybody is trying to sell single items with ridiculously slight discounts (I bought an item for €4.90 that was only 10 cents cheaper than on the menu; that is ridiculous). Feels like a scam.
First, the app itself is a work of art. I haven't seen an app that was this smooth, good-looking and stress-free in a while. No idea how long it took to get to this point but the developers and designers should feel proud of themselves. Everything seems to have been thought out, tested and polished to the tiniest detail. Second part is the actual food. My first experience was great - I got a fair discount for food that was going to the dumpster anyway. Everybody wins. However, my experiences after that sucked. Either the food was low quality, too expensive or the portion too small or all of them at the same time. I guess one improvement for the app itself would be to make the restaurants take pictures of the offers. Currently it feels like buying a surprise box if you don't already know the menu of the restaurant. And it would also be nice to see the original price if applicable. Last part is the history of the company. I recalled hearing about ResQ Club before and then remembered the controversy with Lunchie. The ex-CEO of ResQ Club got a sentence and is out of the company. I guess that's still not poetic justice but all that can be done at this point.
I really like the idea of this app but there is many things I see that could use a update/change.. 1. Orders what contains meat mixed with other foods.. Meat should be sold separately and the products INSIDE the bag NAMED. I don't like it when i end up buying something what I dont eat and then those will go to trash.. 2. This app was made that people will buy CHEAP those foods what is going to go trash but so many restaurants/stores sell their food with ALMOST NORMAL PRICES?! What is the point?
I'm hooked with this app. I'm constantly checking what deals are available at the moment, and I do rescue alot of stuff. It makes me feel good to do something ecological, and I also love food and discounts. The app is also very easy to use.
It would need less imagination, guessing and risk taking if there was a photo next to the offer 🤔💭 Some of the leftovers are the same product everyday so the seller needed to it only once. It would boost my consuming 🍗 👀😋 and made the 5th ⭐ ⚠️ "juusto kaku" "linssisoup" Free hint for the sellers: if you can't spell it right, ask someone else to do it. For some it may give an impression of neglect. That's a trait you don't want to link with the food you are about to eat 🤢
Didn't work at first in my previous phone and apparently it was a phone issue as it gave access immediately to my sd card contents and I tried to contact the orga izatio a lot in many different ways and no reach and they do not pixk up and they do not reply. Now it's decent on the new phone.
Saves money and helps with waste. What more can you ask for?
easier and better than the "normal" food apps, especially if you move by bike :D
Worked better on old Android versions - on Android 9 I can no longer find an option to get notifications without sound, so I had to turn off notifications entirely.
Good & useful app! Both map&location working fine, have never had a single problem re purchasing or collecting the meals. All good, more & more restaurants seem to be popping in 👍
Really nice sushi and other dishes. Great service.
absolutely love the app. user interface is well designed and the whole concept behind the app is amazing. couldn't be happier using their service
Great concept but restaurants asking near full price for the leftovers are ruining it. Also many businesses see this as an opportunity to try sell regular made to order meals as "leftovers".
Great way to catch good afternoon meal deals, and reduce food waste! Win-win system and a pretty smoothly functioning app.
Smooth app. No bugs. Good, but as a non native, quite a few untranslated offers in my area.
Awful contrasts in app. Impossible to get any information because colors and contrasts sre chosrn for only your normal eyes. If you have problems with contrast vision or so, just skip this app.
yummy low prices meals if you know which places have good food. would like to try the grocery bags, however I haven't found any near me.
Great idea, good implementation (well, sometimes presents offers from an area I was in when I opened the app last time) and good customer service.
Leftover food for near full price. Worst I saw was box of noodles, generic noodles, for 4 euros. Nothing else. Just uninstall and never again.
Google Pay works just fine. Resquing process feels streamlined and shopkeepers seem to be able to handle their inventory.
