Restaurant Story™

The goals are ridiculous, and impossible to complete without buying gems. A search bar for gifts would be a nice upgrade. The game is the same from 5 to 8 years ago, but goals are harder, items are more expensive and nothing is convenient for the player. When gifting back, have it go to that gift/search bar. It's too many and more is added every 15 days or so. Add a tip 3 or tip 6 button, if tables are full grey it out. Then we tip manually if only few tbls available. Make some changes!!

I've been playing this game for years but I stopped since About 2016 and I just started back playing again this year because I couldn't figure out my password. The game hasn't changed at all, Which is good, but please put a search into the gifting area so we can type what we need to send to our neighbors so we don't have to scroll through a bunch of things to get to what we need. 🙏🏿 I use android and the watching ads to speed up your cooking needs to be fixed, we want to use that too. Thanks

The ads never load for gems or to speed up the cooking time as posted. Always says the video won't load try again later. Also have noticed that the money you earn glitches and goes up and down for no reason. There aren't many quests that are actually for the game itself. Far too many goals and ads for other games. It's a fun game but I wish they would fix at least a few of these issues.

Pretty good game, no ads. But they would be useful when trying to speed up cooking time. Also those seasonal tasks are too short. I never unlock everything, it's quite frustrating. Maybe make them a week longer. And we need a new update, a little touch in the graphics. Same thing goes for bakery story.

It's a great game and serves as a fantastic time passer and it's so easy to get lost in tasks and accumulating neighbours also, decorating and expanding your restaurant. However, I do wish the game would better categorize the gift section so food item's wouldn't be combined with appliance parts. The gifts section should have more food options included and gems are way too difficult to earn along with the fact that the ads to get gems have not been working since I first reinstalled this game.

I got this app less than a month ago, and it is awesome and a super addicting game. My only suggestions is to have the ability to cancel out items we don't want to see such as wallpapers and floor tiles in the design portion of the game. As well as a system update, because old challenges often pop up when login back into the game. Also when playing, say for instance I wanted to close my store and make food, there should be the ability to open and close your store without blocking the entrance. Because there's been times where I will block the entrance but somehow my food will still be missing mysteriously, and my only solution for that is to take away all the chairs at the restaurant. I would also like to see the gifts organized better for easier access. Again an awesome game, worth the five stars.

I've loved restaurant and bakery story since forever. I had it on my first iPod and when I switched from apple to Android I lost all of my progress for both games so I had to start over. The bad part is the ads don't work to speed up food prep time, I'm not receiving notifications even though they're on, the music will just stop randomly and it'll go silent, and the ads can be very irritating at times. The game is fun and addicting and I do love it but there's so much that needs fixing

Been playing for years, but the game has gotten so glitchy that its hardly fun. I have 40 of each of the cooking tool collectibles, but haven't gotten the spatula. My food restarts all the time. I will serve my food, make new food, then go back later on and the food I serve is spoiled and back on the stove. I can't watch ads to speed things up. The game crashes constantly. I do like the game, it just has much more potential.

I have been playing this game for 7 years now, off & on. In the beginning, though there was a lot of room for improvement, the game was fun & everyone enjoyed it. Over time, they've sucked the fun right out of it with price hikes, less creative decor, goals that never end, & too many parts needed to build goal stoves & drink machines. I understand the developer must pay their employees & maintain the game, but less people playing, or more quitting does not make for good recommendations.

It's okay overall. It has many popups, they popup in the middle of the screen where you are touching. This causes you to loose gems (which are difficult to obtain and keep), and the game administrator will not reimburse you for these popups repeatedly popping up. There's only two choices for your character, and they are both european. Otherwise I'd rate it higher overall.

The game is fun to play, but the constant pop ups advertising other games is so infuriating please stop the pop ups. The option to watch a video to speed up cooking never works. The amount of parts needed to build each special oven for a goal, makes it difficult to complete a goal, its too many and unfair. It pushes you to have to spend you own money to buy gems for the parts. Lots of things need to be fixed to make this game more fun, and fair.

I've been on this game for years! I really enjoy it, the cooking and friends are nicely built and very engaging. My suggestions would be to fix the ability to watch videos to get free gems and to speed up cooking. Also would be nice if basic parts had their own tab on the gifts - so many people want them but we have to click the next arrow so many times. Overall, this is my favorite game ever!

I love playing this game but the ads that pop up to install other games is becoming very annoying and intrusive. At first it was just a billboard on the side of the restaurant, then they added a pop up when you log in, now there's pop ups after I've been logged in for a few minutes and I'm in the middle of selecting dishes to prepare. Please quit with the ads. I'm about to stop playing the game.

On android. Fun gameplay experience, easy to control and setting is sufficient. Graphic is satisfying. A bit difficult with food spoiled because I can't always get on time, I prefer it to stay fresh. Unsure about the game goal, so I just go for decorating the restaurant with nice furnitures. My character look rather creepy though. Not challenging but relaxing game.

I've been playing since 2016 but stopped and now playing again. I like this game but the time for the goals to complete is very unreasonable. There are glitches that requires you to buy an item, i buy it and its still in the goal requirements. I also can't get any customer service. The app directs you to send email but then receives email saying to fill in a form. Hope you can update this.

Love this game! Been playing for years. Some things changed though that I don't like. Now there are more challenges and way too many new oven parts. Once you finish one challenge, another starts. No breaks to just play and enjoy. Too many parts to have to go through just to send a gift to friends.

been playing since 2013, since i was a kid! still love it :) however there are issues with some of the features in the game. 1) when i click the "keep the food" option, it does not keep the food. it does not do anything. 2) when i want to speed up the cooking of my food by watching ads, no ads show up :(

Love the game. Been playing forever. Recently, the game stops. When your cooking for a goal, you get bits to make more appliances. The wrong pieces suddenly started popping out. As soon as it does, the game "unfortunately restaurant story has stopped working". I'm playing the thankful thanksgiving goal now and getting christmas/winter pieces from cooking for the goal.

I am giving this game a VERY generous 3 stars. The reason I say that is because although I love the game and it's a lot of fun, Storm8 Studios needs to re-evaluate their customer appreciation. Of course it's a game and a business, and as such they are in it to make money, but the avarice they demonstrate with so many objects (appliances, decorations) costing exorbitant amounts, and the lack of NEW creative, fun, reasonable goals, the time allowances to complete the goals is not enough, which results in a ridiculous message "OH NO YOU MISSED OUT ON THE GOAL, BUT IF YOU PAY US 55 GEMS (OVER $10) THEN IT CAN BE YOURS". New interesting deco for a reasonable price (put on deco sales events) and lastly not bothering to fix some of the glitches in the game, some of which are major like the advertisement videos for rewards. The end result is that the LOYAL customer base is becoming sick and tired of their unfairness and the feeling that the game needs some fresh new ideas. Fix the goals (time allotted, costs involved) and new deco which is too much money. Please put some effort into new material and the company will be well rewarded with glowing reviews and more new players joining as a result. It is a good game and definitely worth a shot, just watch how much you spend.

There are many missing features for Android users. CAN'T block people on your messages, CAN'T slide the gift list(it takes A LOT of time to find what you are looking for). CAN'T watch videos for gems. The design is watered down from the iOS version. Android users love the game! Why cant you improve it? There are many missions on the mission dashboard that you CAN'T get rid of! It would be great if we were to accept or reject missions. Many weekly/monthly missions You CAN'T enjoy just playing.

love playing this game but havent been able to play for a few days now, as the game is stuck on the loading page!! I waited for nearly an hour and it just wouldn't load. It wasnt frozen as the circle in the middle of the screen was still moving, however nothing else was happening. I tried uninstalling and redownloading but it didnt help. Very frustrating!! having the same problem with Bakery Story too!! plz fix this asap.

I really like this game, I used to play this game in 2012/2013 and now that I've got my own phone I installed it again. But I would really appreciate it if stormie can manage the gift section (to send to neighbours) cause it's quite difficult to constantly clicking the next button to reach the parts that are in the back such as screw or coloured plastic. I suggest to organize the parts to "goal parts" "food" "basic parts" so that it's easier to find.

This game used to be fun but has become more like an ordeal to play. Storm8 no longer takes help requests. You have to post issues in the forum. There is bug after bug. Now the push notifications stopped working & they are passing it off as a compatibility issue. Bull! Too many different people with different phones are having an issue. I am not playing a game that I have to remember when food will be done or set reminders. If this issue isn't fixed soon, I am deleting it & Bakery Story too.

Like many others I came back to this game after a few years of not playing it, but unlike them, I still have lots of fun. There are glitches that some people have experienced, but the only problem I have is that I can't complete one of the missions. It says to download and play dragon city, but it appears that it is no longer on the Google play store, so I have to wait 70 days until I fail the challenge. So another problem to add to Stormie's list... But thanks for the fun game.

Been playing it for years but lately i keep having problems! i have an Android phone now and the game just keeps messing up, every morning i try to clear my tables n gift my neigbours, it wont let me in! it just keeps spinning and says its out of sync n needs wifi which i have 24/7. but when i use it on my iphone no problems at all. i dont think its fair that storm8 give apple the best features n extra stuff, you need to give us Android players a chance. sort the bug problems out

The game mechanics could be better. For example placing walls and floors is a hassle. There's no option to organize any of the items or recipes. Also, I'm supposed to get notifications for when my food is done cooking, but it only sends them out once I open the app.

The game is decent to help you pass time and for you to use as an all day stress relief. However, the game constantly bombards you with ads; not just popups but the game interrupts your flow with adding quests that are specifically made for you to play other games. Should the developers tone this down more this game could easily become 4 stars.

Used to love this game when I was young, it needs to be gone through for bugs and just to add more things to the gameplay. Downloaded it again recently and it worked fine at first, but suddenly food that I'm trying to make keeps disappearing, notifications are not working, etc. There is a new bakery story but I don't like that one as much, I much prefer this style. Should've just kept updating the first game, people still want to play it. Same goes for bakery story.
