ReThink - Stops Cyberbullying

My name is Trisha Prabhu, I am 15 years old and I am the creator of ReThink. Spurred into action by the anger, sadness and frustration of the death of an 11-year old girl that committed suicide because she was repeatedly cyberbullied, I took on the cause to find a solution to stop cyberbullying. The result was my product, ReThink. I have had the honor of presenting ReThink at various national and international events, seminars, forums, schools and universities. ReThink’s Game-Changing Solution:
• Choose ReThink Keyboard from device settings to give your child a second chance to pause, review and ReThink their message before sending it.
• ReThink Keyboard works with all apps (text messages, social media, email etc.).

Why ReThink?The adolescent brain is likened to a car with no brakes. It is well known that adolescents can be impulsive and make rash decisions. The part of the brain that controls decision making (pre-fontal cortex) does not fully develop until age 25. Offensive and hurtful language sent in impulse, are found in everyday online interactions causing immense mental and potentially physical harm to the recipients. Kids and teens do not realize that once an offensive message is sent out, the damage is done – and the Internet is forever
- they really can’t ever “delete” it.
My rigorous scientific research has shown that when given a chance to pause and reconsider before posting a hurtful message, adolescents such as myself change their minds 93% of the time and do the right thing. The overall willingness to post an offensive message drops from about 71% to about 4%. ReThink detects any hurtful messages that an adolescent may type on their devices– text messages, emails, social media and any apps that use a keyboard. Upon detection that a hurtful message has been typed, ReThink alerts adolescents, giving them a chance to pause, review and ReThink their message before sending it.

I absolutely love this. Even for me , I use slang words to much and it's helping me change into a better person. I text to quick as well and now I can actually take time to think before I speak a little more. I love the concept of this and I love the fact this helps stop cyber bullying . For such a young age she created the absolute most fantastic app ever.
I really like the design of the keyboard very much, aesthetically pleasing(never mind they changed it, dosen't look as good). I would also imagine that this works extremely well too.
It's actually pretty amazing but there are a few flaws/limitations that I'd like to point out: 1.No swipe gesture support 2.Keyboard is very uncomfortable 3. It made me rethink when I typed in 'you are not ugly' and that shouldn't happen
Would be happier if it's more comfortable. I guess the icons are too huge compared.to other keyboards also, the autocorrect should be off initially (default setting).
This is a great app, the keyboard options are quite lovely and I think I prefer the lean dark keyboard over my regular one. Helps me to think before I speak, even when it is a false alarm you can always dismiss the popup
This app is a great concept but the autocorrect does much more harm than good and the keyboard is bad. This app wont even let you type cu mbersome. Would not recommend it.
I really want to use this app because its make me think twice from saying offended words to someone but the problem of this app is it will save all my data including password and credit card num. Is it secure ? Because i dont really think i want anyone to know my password n credit card num.
Kindly make it more attractive so that i also feel more good while looking and using it with a great perspective of no cyberbulling. I watched you on shark tank ond i really love what are you doing. Thankou for helping millions.
I love this app, the coding of this app is great. I love the creator for taking the time to think about this. 10/10. I can't count how many times I cursed out my boss in a text. Ha! Save my job a few times. Thank you!
should have a time out feature before they can select an answer. 60 seconds before they can hit ignore or accept. to actually rethink their message
It works really well just dont like the keyboard change up the style add more backrounds or "accessories" otherwise i really like the app and it works greatly
App works pretty good but doesn't show word suggestions in Truecaller app which I use. If this gets fixed 5 stars. Yes the default gboard shows the suggestions.
This is one of the most effective app to change the perverted mind a lot. Its a highly recommended keyboard for the teenagers mobile and tablet phones.
I had hoped this app would remove the middlefinger emoji. I was severely disappointed to see it is there. Also no spell check. Space bar too small.
I don't really care how old you are when you were creating this, but this is just a keyboard with some anti swears on it. Good job, you just disabled a lot of words like competitively, stitches, assasination, etc. Also, this app somehow doesn't seems to remove my cyber-bullying issues.
It only works if I use the app's keyboard. I like the idea, but I wished it worked with the auto keyboard on my phone.

Discovered this app from a vid our teacher sent us. I really hope someday that this would be incorporated to every gadget.
It is nice. But.no one.wants.to.receive paraghraphs or.sentences with.periods.in.between each.word. See it! I am.about.to remove it.
Love the idea of this app, however when I tried to type with it on, it kept saying the app had failed! So I had to uninstall it because I wasn't to type....
Saw this on Shark Tank. Think it is a great idea. One problem I see is that I have to switch keyboards for this to work.
Because now I cant Swype and be comfortable texting. Great idea needs improvement
Really is just a second post button for when you cuss in a post or anything you type actually. Anyways if someone is saying what they want to say they wont download an app just to say no to it and post it anyway.

HORRIBLE this app ruins my phone! Stupid. It always interups my texting to say stupid stuff like "dont say that!" or "rethink. Be nice"
It was not working. I saw this app on shark tank . so i wanted to check it . but the pop up would not come .
I like the app. I just don't like that it makes me replace my key board.
has potential. I like the word pop up confirmation when you get autocorrected by the keyboard. I can't find any Swype feature settings, and it feels like the warnings are a bit random? I don't like that the emoji button adds a :D face from 1 tapbrather than open a menu. Swaping from numbers to letters is frustrating so I find myself skipping punctuation all together. I can barely text without Swype so sadly i have to pass this up in favor of functionality. but otherwise it's alright .
