Retro Game Center (enjoy classic/emulation games)

Used to be 5 stars. It was amazing. Now it doesn't work at all anymore. It won't load roms, it doesn't even try to look for them anymore. Unusable, and been that way for a while now with no improvement. It's a shame because it was great, I will be cancelling my paid subscription. Edit: I discovered that it doesn't work on Android 10 or higher. Please fix.

This has been a really good app to use for emulators, and I was very surprised to see all of the consoles it can emulate. But there was one problem... some ROMs can't be found and played on for some games, such as Sonic CD, and Super Mario Bros. And the emulation for some consoles and handhelds such as NDS, is always acting slow. To any of the developers of Retro Game Center hearing this, please do something about this. It would be even better for the future of this game.

This is one of the best console emulators yet. Despite them removing GameCube and Wii support, (even though they never needed it here to begin with,) the console library is gigantic, the touch screen controls are nice and responsive, and even with my bluetooth controller, (Switch Pro Controller) the controls are, again, nice and responsive. The only features I want to see are a option to turn off the audio and a dark mode, but other than that, again, this is an emulator that is worth your time.

Absolutely fantastic emulator. Best in it's class! Link rom feature makes arcade games a snap to play without the hassle of having to put a rom in just the right spot. ONLY emulator that perfectly emulates nes games with ZERO lag! Graphics are too notch on ever game. Bravo guys! I only ask that you continue work on some controls. Sega controls show 6 buttons but only 3 ever work. Pads are not always optimized to respond to qct motions and such. many times when changing orientation the controls become stretched. Emulates all sorts of 8bit and 16bit systems. Automatically downloads thumbnails for games, which is great. Unfortunately navigating the ROM library is a pain, there is a lot of rubberbanding as the app can't keep up with the amount of files. Otherwise fantastic, I'd gladly pay for a refined version with more features.

Its the only app that actually does work honestly. To have to watch a 30 second add for 50 coins to play tons of classic retro games. Or even if the adds dont always work and u only get 10 to play tons of classic retro games. This is amazing. Most of these apps require too much work. This is truly simple and fun. Did I say it actually WORKS.

Worked right out of the box. Emulation of an all time favourite game appears neigh on perfect. Screen mapping of the original physical controls is exceedingly refined. Really as perfect an emulation solution as one could want, at least in my experience. The downside, so far, none as far as the emulator itself goes. However I can't wait to try hooking up a physical control pad, as physical control function and response is absolutely critical to the UX in gaming.

I tried to play Rockman 2 on Famicom and it wouldn't even work AND I had the file for that game! Well how can they program a emulator, when they can't even be creative and make an original logo for there own thing. Instead, they searched on Google images and found an image of a Bluetooth controller, and used that. The conclusion is, that if this was the only thing I had, stranded on an island, I STILL wouldn't play it.

So far it's doing what it describes it does and the emulation is good. I'd love to be able to export/import my saved states-progress. (The native game saves) So that I could back them up and continue playing on other emulators on different platforms or in case this apps gets discontinued. Is this currently possible? In case it's not, I believe it should be easy, development wise. I really hope this feature gets added soon. Would deserve a donation. thanks for the app!

The whole emulator is fantastic. Possibly the best one I had. The only problem I find with this emulator is that the Genesis/Mega Drive controller can only do 'A, B and C', it cannot do 'X, Y or Z'. XYZ is sort of important for what I'm playing which makes the 1 star go down. If anyone knows how to fix this, please respond.

OPINION: Great app, and amazing idea to combine multiple emulators in one app. BUGS: (possibly my fault) Sometimes I'll reselect the "window", it doesn't resume where I left it at (I now save state), and in the 50+ times I've booted and played it only crashed once. SUGGESTIONS: Would love a few more options, maybe even per emulator. (Options Like: Sound control{I usually have other media play in the background}, maybe a few more onscreen controller options/variations and maybe Cheat code entry)

The app has a huge irremoveable touch screen controller layout when loading a game without the option to disable it and they want you to pay for coins to use it, just remove the coins and charge 59p for it you'll do a lot better. Coins are a no no for many or points bought with cash as it's technically trying to charge a subscription fee when you can buy the classicboy series of emulatores as a one off fee and they are just as good if not miles better for less than £5

Retro Coins system is very poorly implemented, especially when adds fail to load, or the buggy controls force you to re-start the game and waste coins. Some virtual controllers are missing crucial buttons (no "Mode" on Sega 6 button controller... sounds small but is game breaking for some games). This is a fine beginning for retro games emulation but there are better apps.

this is a really good emulator but is has some major issues for me; 1) when i try to change the button layout they end up stretching the resolution of the games and the buttons, 2) it would be nice to see a rewind feature aswell. fix these issues and I'll rate it 5 stars because this is a really good emulator otherwise

I love that I can play RPG games that I love. In particular the ones from the Sega Master System and Genesis on my tablet. The look and feel of the games is very good. What needs improvement is the controls. In the Y's game there is no control button to easily quit the game. Otherwise, so far so good. Keep up the good work.

This app was good until they put up the retro coin system. I can't even watch ads to get coins, it just gives me 10 coins even when I'm connected to the internet. Worst of all the 'link rom' button isn't working! If you could fix this I would give five stars. Until then my review stays the same.

Overall UI is not horrible but that's the best of it I scanned my library and barely any games showed up. Then even the ones that did load would not even play. Absolute horrible waste of space I will be sticking to retroarch. Hands down the best out there. All in one emulator like this is supposed to be but get this it actually loads and plays ALL my games

It was my go to app for retro gaming until the app wouldn't allow me to play any of the games available in app for any of the consoles at all and it hasn't been working for me in quite sometime now. It's been months. So unless something is fixed and allows me to use this app again, I must change my score unfortunate as it is.

Best emulator right here! 17 emulators included, free! Searches games for you, and so DAMN SMOOTH! Not fps lag, no weird sounds, and many games available... amazing.. Just amazing, there's a coin system but you can watch an ad for 50 coins. Every 10 coins is one game so... the only thing I would change is resume should be 5 coins or maybe free

Love this emulator so much, best way to play games and ever since you added the gbc and wii ability to it, ive been able to play games that i havent played since i was a kid!! The only issue is when i connect my xbox wireless remote, all the controls work fine but the left and right triggers dont respond to the app unfortunately, overall tho i still love it!!!

I WOULD spend $ money on this app, if either A. it could be moved to the SD card , or B. Is available on Android tv / Nvidia SHIELD . App is a great idea, but it takes too much space internally on your device, and cannot be moved to the SD card. Had to uninstall/ reinstall when this app's storage reached 9 GIG. Unless you use the Google search / link Rom function, which is a risk from 3rd parties off the internet, using the app's "PLAY NOW" button, you will run out of internal storage quickly.

This emulator is incredibly good! The only problem I had (Thus the four-star rating) was that when I found out that the app already provided ROMs for some Final Fantasy games, I decided to try it out. When I tried FF7, it worked but FF5, 6, 8 and 9 for the Playstation had some problems. FF6 directly didn't work, the FF5 ROM had the incorrect game, and when I tried FF8 AND FF9, they kept on saying "Please insert disc/wrong disc/incorrect disc". Can you please fix this? Thanks!

The app downloaded just fine. When I downloaded roms from the websites linked to through the app, and extracted the files in the downloads folder, this app couldn't see recognize them. I went online to try to see how others solved the problem and found that many others had this problem, but the suggestions they gave for solving it didn't work. This app is useless.

it a great app if you miss playing them old games that are including it has his bugs here and there but the people do work on the app they're amazing can't complain cuz it is a free app and it's the only one then you can have multiple consoles played on wireless controllers like my Xbox One work great I never turn down five star rating I can give it a 6 or more I will so give it a try..... thank you Developers!!!
