Retro Music Player

hi, i'm in love with this app and i've been using it for quite a while now. i've never had any problems with it up until yesterday, when i noticed a weird bell sound (?) every time a song starts. it's really annoying. i tried searching in the settings for an option enabling that, but i found nothing. could you please help me with this issue? thanks a lot in advance. edit: aight i just reinstalled the app and the sound disappeared. everything's great now. weird bug though.

I've downloaded this app a few hours ago and I really enjoy listening music with Retro Music ! However, I have difficulties adding songs in the playlists I've created. The error message says "Unable to add music to playlist due to Android 10 limitations". Is there a solution to my problem ? Thanks 🙂

Sincerely the best music app ever (beautiful UI, compatible with standard features, many settings) [but it would be good if you just rename the app "Music" instead of "Retro Music Player", because when I have "Retro Mu..." on the launcher, it's just pointless... **Updated yet again** Beautiful, highly functional app with lots of bells and whistles. Stunning UI that is endlessly customisable. I adore this app. Still no support for album art on AA yet, hoping it'll be available in the future. I had an issue with the app crashing, but it was caused by unreadable files showing up in my library (Apple Music) ***CAUTION*** There is another app called "Music" that is a blatant ripoff of this app, it even uses the same logo. Please don't download it! 😡

Awesome except for 2 issues. 1. Sometimes it cuts off the end of a song. A song will have 3 seconds or so left (occasionally, even more) and boom, very brief silence and new song playing. Since I almost always have it in shuffle mode, I'm not sure if it does this on a playlist. 2. I have disabled reduce volume on focus loss but it still happens, every time. Very annoying! (Why can't they program Android to use silent notifications when media is playing anyway?) Fix these & it's 5 stars!

I love this, been stuck with the music players built into phones for to long, with this, I can read and see what I'm playing without my glasses, which is just great, and the music quality seems good, it's loud, and the eqailizer works great to. All round a really good music player. But I agree with other users, I would love to upgrade to the pro version, but without a price displayed, I'm not willing to, is it it's go expensive for normal people, or your hiding it on purpose, which is worrying.

The app has great UI. That is awesome. The UI is very simple and very beautiful. And the lyrics work pretty much right on my device. The problem is that when I play a song from my FileSystem through this app, the app crashes and shows the 'Restart App' button. If that is not the case then maybe this is the best music player app I have ever seen.

Wow. I was not expecting an app so close to perfect when downloading random music players on the store. This one does everything I need it to. Casts to Nest speakers and hubs, works with Android auto, looks clean, plenty of customisation. The only issue I've encountered in my 1 week usage is that upgrading to premium doesn't display a price. This is a great alternative to VLC for Android.

Hats off to the developers for such a beautiful app and being responsive with issues. Have had a few issues with the app in the past, but kept coming back to it thanks to the stability updates and solid UI. Definitely worth a try for anyone who loves customisation. (From the 5.7.3 update) If anyone has issues choosing their preferred accent colour, try disabling the "Wallpaper Accent Colour" option in the Look & Feel settings.

I have tried many music players but so far this is the best one. I would like to request some new features. 1. When adding a new song to a playlist it gets added to the end of the list and there is no way to sort it so as to make it appear in alphabetical order. So it would be great of there is an option to sort it. 2. Sleep timer should be available as a shortcut on the now playing screen. 3.Sleep timer mode can be made more user friendly by enabling us to add or remove time by 5 minutes.

Nearly the perfect music player I have been desiring for my androod device. if as time goes on, updates are reliable and customization features increase further to the likes of popular players like Blackplayer EX and Poweramp, i WILL buy the full version. Thank you for not putting ads in the free version. You are a lifesaver Edit: i just noticed that the sorting had changed such that "The" is no longer filtered and any album with that word is placed under "T" instead of the following word.

Retro music is the best I have used so far! It numbers each song on random so it won't play the same song again until all songs are played. This means everything to me! As a bonus, I just realized the other day that if you press back or forward it keeps the songs in line on random so you can go back to hear it again.

Paid user! Love it! However it seems still premature in these 2 aspects from my end, and that's why I am giving it 4 stars (for now, may update): - no equalizer (I heard it was buggy, so it was completely removed..) - primary bug when using Android Auto (stops playing after every song, has to manually intervene and click "next" on every song) Hope these bugs/ features will get resolved nice and quick soon! Not that bad. it exhibits a much higher degree of random selection over my library of 7000+ entries. Other apps seem to confine themselves to the same 200 -300 selections and just repeat them in different orders. This app, however, with noticeable frequency reports as unplayable selections that others have no trouble playing.

Coming from a paid music player that got worse with updates, I'm surprised to find basically everything available here with the paid option being almost just visual elements. Updates metadata instantly, doesn't hang, and sometimes I just open the app just to look at it. Incredible work to the team.

the app is designed to mimic streaming platforms and I love that about it but the way it crashes just after two or three songs is frustrating and makes the app useless. due to that bug it's simply a just beauty and no brains app

Please change notification full colur. Now the notification is not full colour album song .so it's not good to seen .please upgrade in next update.because it looks like full colour notification is autumn. And give 5 Rating in no.1 position.still nofication bar not provide full colour interface.please do the needful on priority basis.

Great new animated splash screen, can you make it's background color follow app background (either grey, black or material you)? Right now it's just grey. Playlist tab, Grid Size 1, Playlist's icons are white on light theme. Unfortunately, there's still seems to be an issue with custom artist images – the reveal animations when opening the artist, becoming very laggy. You can't sort all current Artist songs by Year, ascending (from oldest album to the most recent). Its only descending by default

I've only seen replies to 5 star reviews.I hope I get a response to this. So, I love this player, and I want to keep using it.That's basically why I'm writing a review.I want you guys to add a reset option,so I can have it brand new again.I have an account registered on my phone, and it synced automatically, which I don't very much appreciate.. I'm not able to experience new features from new update, because my account is synced to the previous version.I tried deleting and re-downloading, no way

One of the Best if not the Best music player out there. Even the free version doesn't lacks any important feature. What's more it doesn't shows ads. Absolutely Awesome app 💯. Good Job Developers 👍

This app is really good, but I think there's an issue with colors, when I restore a backup the colors turns to purple and I can't change it anymore, is it an issue or what? If not, please, solve it asap.

Latest update breaks the app - impossible to swipe it from notifications Edit- idk what's going on there but sometimes wrong song name is displayed , like from the one that's ahead in the queue or something.. Why change what's not broken?

Yoo I was looking for a real mp3 player! This is it. No annoying ads, black theme to take care my eyes, and most importantly: a friendly interface. Keep it up!

This music app is great! Love how it looks, perfect transitions, no studdering when going into settings. Only problem is, app kept on crashing while editing user profile. I think this bug comes and goes so not a big problem to me. The 2nd problem is I can't add a custom picture or the artist picture to the song manually. I hope to see more updates for this great app! Been using this for about 2 years, honestly this app is brilliant, not only all your need for a music app, it's customisable, clean, and as I was happy to pay the fee for the pro version, honestly it's just brilliant. With now material you support as well, this is a very good product overall. I will say the widget should be updated to look a bit cleaner, I have encountered 2 bugs in the whole time I have been using this, neither of which are app breaking at all.

Please make the widgets more in line with the 'Material You' theme. Also please consider adding an option for easily accessing the song list in an album. I keep having to find the album and song list and it can take lots of steps. Thanks! I think it's a really good player otherwise.

Edit: Fixed ! App is perfect :)) +The android 12 look looks amazinggg Hey, the app is damn good ! Only thing that budges me, it show a logo when going from home screen, back to app, and it also can take a while to load. Working on that would make it a perfect app !
