Retro Shooting

Really fun up until stage 8, then it becomes way too hard, and not in a good way. Ennemies simply become huge health bags and you will have to go back and farm currency to be able to down them before they leave the screen. Other than that it's a nice way to kill time in the metro or on the toilet

Excellent game, but would it please be possible to collect all achievements in one go (with a press of a button)? At the moment, it takes me 20 minutes of pressing the collect coins button in order to collect all achievements I've unlocked, only because it goes level by level (for example for every 50k coins collected, when you collected millions I let you imagine how long it takes to press the collect button...). Really ridiculous issue. Thanks.

This is a fun game, but there are some problems. Even though I own all the planes required for a collection bonus (increase shooting speed +5%, increase shield time +20%) it is still locked for me. The weekly boss challenge screens are not in English. Great that you can convert extra keys into coins, but, as others say, we need to be able to unlock *all* drones too.

Fun and very addictive game but ads are a turn off and progress is somewhat limited without paying.

Really great update with new level of difficulty and new ships to get! Can absolutely get it all f2p with watching ads and doing all the boss challenges each day.

Its a good game, nice graphics, and they way that they made it 3d is extremely awsome, i love the model of the fighters as well, mostly on the dandelion, burning sky, and kung fu boy =v=

New R rank planes are OP 🔥🔥. But I think the jump from hero difficulty to legend is too much. I have completed stage 6 hero but I still am not able to clear stage 3 legend.

This is a really fun game for time spent idling but I am really confused as to why the yellow enemy missiles and the yellow coins are the same colour! Visual clarity is incredibly important in a bullet-hell game, which is why this is so bizarre to me. I also want to point out that I'm not colourblind.

Very enjoyable, one of the better bullet hell games I've played on Android. Good oevel of difficulty, reasonable chances of getting good upgrades...glad to have found it.

This is an awesome game! The only thing that is missing is the ability to use keys to unlock ALL drones after having all the planes! If that is fixed I will upgrade my rating to five stars! ⭐

Very fun with lots of replayability. A cool shooter with lots of options. At first I thought there was a lot of ads but there really isn't. When you play as you get a bonus like two times coins or to try out a ship instead of buying it. So there can be a lot of ads but you actually get something every time you watch one which is pretty cool too. And Those ads are instead of paying for an upgrade so you can pay for stuff instead of watching the ads or you can just skip the bonuses all together and you don't have to watch any.

I really like the gameplay & graphics, which gives this game an 80's vibe to it! The controls seem a bit stiff (at first) but you'll get the hang of rolling side to side as the game progresses. My only dislike are repetitive the Ads. While Sky Wings may appear as a "simple", easy-to-play retro game, each level gets more intense aside from the opponents becoming aggressive. But, hey don't let that discourage you! I'd like to see a sequel to Sky Wings in future!

Good game. However, there has long been a bug in this game where the special actions revert back to the Left side of the screen once the level is complete/over. It does become very frustrating, I have to switch the special actions to the right side of the screen for every mission. The other options are saved, just never switching to R side special actions. I play on a Samsung s20 5g. Developers please fix this issue so I can enjoy this game again.

The game is actually pretty good in general, boasting tight control and great performance. The micro transactions are fair, allowing you to get all the ships and drones for about $70ish, with each premium ship also granting an additional benefit, like doubling end of mission rewards without ads and some such. The main complaints I have are there are no seasonal events and rewards, and every time you start a mission, you hear an annoying child voice yell, "Start!" Even if they couldn't add seasonal levels and stuff like that, it would be great if they removed that stupid voice. Music and sound great otherwise.

Great shooter with an original twist where the playing field is a little wider than the screen making you move the field of view as you pan horizontally. The panning took me a few levels to get used to but, despite not having had any difficulties with it after the first hour of playtime, I still find myself getting a bit annoyed at not being able to see the full screen like in other games of this genre. Still enjoying the game though, so have to give props to the devs for trying new things.

7/16/20 Edit: The latest updates locked all my previously unlocked ships, and raised prices on items that could be previously obtained through ads. Also removed the ability gain crystals through ads daily. Not interested in playing this anymore... Fun game, good music. Seems to be an issue with the "free" crystals button. Sometimes, it straight up doesn't work. Other times, you've got to click it a bunch of times to find the right spot for it to take you to the ad

I downloaded this about a week ago and I'm loving how this game makes use of ads. Instead of having them pop up at random you can watch them when you want for decent in game rewards. On to the game itself to keep it brief it's a vertical arcade shooter with visuals that makes good use of the blocky pixels that make up the ships and levels and it has a nice chill soundtrack. Most importantly it's a fun way to kill time.

It was ok at first but then the grind set in and the only way to improve was to grind for better ships. The worst of it is that after the latest update I could get anything to work or play any levels and so I reinstalled the app and found that I lost some progress. I was set back by losing some items, coins and two ships I recently got by grinding to unlock. So not the greatest experience but it was fun to a certain point.

This game is awesome! I usually get bored of mobile games quickly but I keep coming back to play this one, it's kept my attention for a while now. Graphics are great as is the game play. The dev's implementation of ads in this game should be the new standard of how ads are incorporated in apps. The ad implementation is so good that I don't even mind the small number of ads that show up. The ONLY thing I'd change is to have an option to pause the game when you remove your finger from the screen.

This is a very cool game. Instantly playable, retro feel with '8 bit' graphics and no stupid ads popping up either! In fact you can gain extra coins and bonuses by watching ads when you want, so you're in control of that. It's not a game of frenzy, chaos and explosions. Instead it has the pace of a classic 80s arcade game (I remember them well) so props to the developers for replicating that experience with Sky Wings.

I downloaded this game to kill some time, but this game is incredibly awesome and addictive. As the name implies, it has a retro theme or setting which is amazing. The graphics, sound design, gameplay are all awesome and have a great retro vibe to them. Plus, every level of the game has new kind of enemy planes and final boss planes and drones which never cease to amaze. This feels a bit minimalistic because i dont have worry about multiplayer gameplay, ranks and updates. I can just play.

Solid 4/5 experience. Would recommend this game to anyone looking for a classic topdown shooter. Biggest complaint: you can't navigate anywhere in the app without it suggesting you buy something. Plus the ads have grown more persistent (one even requires me to press the x to close the task, ratherthan being able to hit the back button like a normal person.

I updated when it was switched to the key system for unlocking ships. Really kind of took away from the gameplay. I've been stuck on a few levels and have been just making cash and watching ads for months. Have not earned a class b it above ship yet. Tried the upgrade route, spent lots of time gathering coin and upgrading to make precisely zero difference. It is just a slog in the mud, wallowing in your own impotence. Slack up a little, find that balance and I'll gladly go back to 5 starts again

Good little game, despite the retro feel, but it does take me back to the snes and sega days. 1st issue is that on normal mode the game seems to keep sticking now and then, which can be annoying, and on infinite mode the game sticks alot more. And sometimes is unplayable and keep having to start over, multiple times. Other than than, I do like it a lot. I also like how the music and backgrounds change as well as you've even put weather and lightning effects. That makes the game more appealing.

Great and fun game until they added full screen ads that you have to watch unless you pay $5 to go ad free. Before ads were optional to get an extra life or power ups. The grind gets pretty intense once you have to start spending 10k crystals per incremental upgrade. On another note, I'd probably spend $10 to buy the game (ad free) if the progression was better.

Mostly game is fun to play, is visually great but amount of ads is frustrating. After the level you are given a choice to go to the title screen or to watch some ads but whatever you press you HAVE to watch an advertisement. BTW When you go back to the game from pause menu time scale is making it look like the game is stuttering, but it doesn't at the moment.

This game is a super fun idea and i enjoyed playing it. You also get fairly rewarded to watch advertisments. One major issue I found kind of ridiculous. In order to get a three star on the further levels you have to watch advertisements no matter if you performed a lot better on that level. It feels like EA's Pay to win and i don't recommend that on any one who likes earning stuff without having to watch advertisments or have to spend 3 bucks on something so little.
