Retro Tape Deck mp3 player

Takes me back to the days when I use to make tapes for on the road travels. Love the design. Should definitely improve it and keep it going.

App working well and happy to see it without adds. Some 16 different cassette tapes are given which can change auto with each song or manual while playing with finger swipe just like an image. Appreciate maker of this app. Wish a reel to reel tape recorder & Gramophone player app too in this way. Off course some are available but are not majestic like this. This app player cassette occupying full screen to real size cassette is so real and majestic.

Tnx for making it free. However it could be improoved if you have spare time: Add options to hide buttons on the bottom. To make it more immersive. Double tapping left hole is prev song or rewind, right one is next, middle is start stop. Also the most important thing: casette cilinders rotation is very jaggy. And it stops every few secs. It kind of ruins basic goal: to see fluid spinning.

Loved the visuals. However little things make it not practical to use. Eg. If I select a song. It takes me to the cassette window and if I hit back, it doesn't take me back to where I was on the list. It pulls me to the top. Also needs a play and keep browsing option so you are not pulled to the cassette screen if you don't want to be. Also there is no 'folders' option at the bottom. I have a folder of different music that can not practically be sorted via the list options.

Was sitting on the couch and told myself that I will write a music player app with a tape taking the full screen. Got excited and hopped on the Play store to check, just in case. And here it was - well done! I would have published the EXACT same thing :)

It is amazing. It should have a equaliser like poweramp . the tape inside the cassette should be proportionate to album , folder wise. You can give it in paid version. It is not closing. It resides always in status. Avoid the reel gets stop then restarts. Feel like having a walkman. Expecting a paid app like poweramp ( the best music player poweramp can include your style. Great job developers)

This is what I have been looking for something that can bring some nostalgia back. maybe now you can actually have certain amount of songs for tapes and have it actually make you switch sides. that would actually be kind of fun, but make it an option. also would be kind of cool to have it have the body of the player too with the buttons that you would press to work , i know hard to explain.

Animation of the tape spools was pretty poor on my LGG3 unless i enabled force GPU rendering which breaks the menus. I upgraded to a Galaxy S8 Plus with the same result..I give up. Cass O Player is much better in my opinion with smooth cassette animation.

Although this isn't what I was looking for originally, I think it's pretty cool. I'm a big fan of 80s & 90s stuff etc. so this was pretty neat to me. I'd suggest different styles on the cassette tapes, or a list to see the choices to make it easier to see, but nothing else. Anywho, I really liked it.

This is a very good music player, with a real 80s feel to it! Good choice of tape cassette designs. To keep it fresh though, the addition of extra cassettes would be great. Would then give 5 stars. Maxell XL11 for example, with the gold and black design. Used to use 100s back in the day!

Rarely do i write a app review but aftet using this retro mix tape deck player whose spindles actually moves like a real tape deck ahh hell i just had to give five thumbs up and commend the app maker for creating this app for us gen xers retro people. Since ive been using this cool app at work everyones been taking dbl looks and stopped in thier trax to look at it move . it looks cool hanging in my car phone holder.. Again great job on a cool app if only it had an upcoming lp like playlist to see what song in your library as playing next like tap the cassette and the list could appear.😛😛😛😛😛😛😛😛😛😛

Works great on kitkat, and gives you that old nostalgic tape player feeling with lots of tapes. But it has some issues. Works like crud on marshmallow. Tape reels run at a low frame rate and you can't shut it off.

I am really hoping they make something cool for my tablet. That would be awesome.

Am I the only to think it's ironic that in the beginning there were cassette Walkmans then they became obsolete as CD Walkmans took over which in turn became obsolete when MP3 players came along only to themselves become obsolete when smart phones could play MP3s. Almost full circle that smart phones are now pretending to be cassette players but who cares? Great app.

Nice! Been missing this cute effect from my SE Zylo.. Gave it 5 stars first because it was/looked nice BUT it crashes my phone *ALL THE TIME*. Please fix bug and I'll give you back your fiver. Untill then youll have to make do with a 1 :( Sorry, 'cause it *looks* pretty

App crashes every time I select artist. App is unusable for me as I own way to much music to pick tunes any other way. Other than that, it's a fun app.

I'd give it five stars if it had Spotify or Google Play support. Currently the app has no use for me, as it only supports local music files. The app does work fine with those, though.

Haven't check to see if an equalizer or some sort of sound enhancement is available but idefinatly dig the whole 80's theme there.

The buttons are bit too small, seeking is a bit odd, but it would be really awesome if it had a shuffle option! That's the only star knocking jolt, a shuffle switch. Sorry if I throw you off at the beginning lol.

The app stays in my notification bar and no option to exit. If this is fixed the app would be excellent. I grew up on tapes and vinyl so love the idea of this app....just needs an exit option when not in use.

Really more of a basic novelty player and a REALLY basic UI. Lacking in any real features but a very cool idea.

But animation is very choppy and stutters sometimes. Very few options as well. Hey it was free. Not expecting much from a free download. It's good but animation and features could use an overhaul.

You should make one roll for about 6 songs, not every single one, and you should make the roll going backwards not jump to like it starts, and also please make the rolling smoother, thanks
