RetroidNetplay
RetroidNetplay is by DukedDroid and is an unofficial branch of the open-source project RetroArch that supports Netplay on Android Devices. The NetPlay support is CPU intensive and works on High End android devices such as the Nvidia Shield (tested) and powerful phones such as the Galaxy S4 (untested).
RetroidNetplay will evolve and will offer a lobby and match making platform in the near future.
RetroArch is a simple Multi-emulator frontend based on libretro by Themaister. Libretro is an API designed for simple abstraction of the functions inherent in retro-style, 2D games. While the most common use case for libretro has been console emulation, it is equally suited as a platform for almost any 2D game.
RetroidNetplay is open-source software based on the RetroArch and libretro open-source projects.

There's an issue with the ps1 emulator. For some reason when I put a ps1 ROM on, it goes into a black screen, then it says it fails to load and takes me back to the main screen again. I'm not an expert when it comes to emulators though, so if someone could help, that'd be nice. My GBC ROMs work just fine though, so it's the ps1 emulator that isnt working for me. Hope i get to play ff8 again<3
For one the input overlays feature is not working. I also dont like having to click core first. Im lazy. Lol. But seriously the inability to change the overlay thing is huge. It doesnt change thru the settings and there arnt any other options if you try and change it in game. Please fix. Also when I enable net play the whole thing just black screens.why? I fully appreciate your efforts. I just think its broken right now.
Please fix the issue where whenever I close the app it resets all my settings this aggregates me so much I dont even end up using the app which is a pity since this app would be amazing on my nvidia shield to play with other people. But alas it tis not the working properly so for now I'm going to go back to retroarch I hope you do fix it this issue 5 stars as soon as you do
Works good as its retroarch with addons, however the overlay input is stuck on Snes layout for me as well. Also after port forwarding with my friend and using his ip and such, we just get either stuck on black screens or "failed to init netplay". Otherwise good work
The touch control is very unstable a small touch make it go up down. Plz fix this . But it is a great app
Much better interface than RetroArch, performs well and has a great selection of emulators; would love to see the Mednafen Atari Lynx Core also included.
Excellent job. I love using the app. I swear by it. The only thing is I can no longer select a different console's controller. I've managed so far but it would make things easier. When I had Retroarch before, it had those input options. Any chance of multiple input options returning?
I love this application and I am honestly very thankful for it. I can play all the Pokémon games I want with no problem.. Well mostly. Recently the GBA emulator just shows a black screen and then says that it isn't working.
How to change the game pad for pcsx(psx) on this emulator
I'm happy to find this one. The only one that actually works. And even the pad works on this one. Pity though it doesn't have dreamcast compatibility like the other one I tried. But least it works

Gran turismo 2 dosent work and that's a bummer, lets see it stand up to medievil 1+2 and gta 1
Shield - cant select option "dpad emulation" to none in TV mode - it gets stuck when toggled to “none” and literally starts automatically switching through the options, and I can’t stop it at 'none', any option but 'none'. Very weird. Player 2 profile works correctly and select 'dpad emulation' to 'none' but its useless. As a result I can’t use analog sticks. Joypad is switched to 'joypad+analog' of course, but because of invalid 'dpad emulation' settings I can’t use analog sticks. NVidia Shield, no root. It’s the only working emulator and it’s epic but I need analog sticks. Maybe manual? Please help
The controls disappear after saving or loading a save state on android 4.2.2, rendering it useless.
The interface isn't perfect but it works well enough, and you can use the RGUI easily. This is what RetroArch on Android should be.
It's a nice idea but needs work. Most SNES games won't load at all and the ones that do run choppy and sound pops.
Im having trouble getting my Snatcher for segacd to work and its goes black and returns me to the core menu...other than that its gr8, any advice would be appreciated on the segacd
Overall is good But there is one problem. I can't play assassin's creed discovery. When I load up the game it just send me back to the main screen. Pls fix this

Cant get blackthorne 32x to run. It starts with no error message but stays on a black screen, no overlays. I have the 32x bios roms in place. Any help?
This used to be retroarch, but now something different. It is okay but it had removed the Sega 32x emu. Other then that this is ok
It runs very well but the sound gets REALLY bad and crunchy at some points for a minute then goes back. Please fix

i have the retroarch before in my sduos but now i cant make it work in my note 5.i did the same thing but i cant make it work. mower to the developer and hope to find fix...
Won't play the games well it will just not load them and retroarch will but its laggy and I can't move :( so in short I hate it :(
I really love the app but I want a super32x port because I really want to play knuckles and the choatix.
I like this but if possible, I need help explaining how you use netplay
It runs great, the controls are pretty responsive, so far I've tried the Neo Geo, SNES, and 2 of the NES emulators, and haven't had any problems with either. I also used the arcade emulator(I forgot the name) to plat Dungeon & Dragons: SOM it ran better than I expected. If you've been looking to play ROMs on your android device this is definitelly worth checking out.
