Transcribed my audio file perfectly. Needed for documentation for work. Also, there was an offer for $10 off a first time use of the service. When the offer was taken off at check out saying I had already used it, I used the app chat and Chrystal helped me. I had never used a transcriber app before, I explained this and apparently the discount is not applicable to the app version. Somehow it was not made apparent in my case. She was able to get the discount applied due to the situation. 👍🏻
A bait and switch. You install it, and it shows you have a $10 credit. You record something and hit transcribe, and then it prompts you for a credit card number. You enter the cc number, and go back to the screen where you are told "oops, looks like you've already used this credit" when you most certainly have not. Garbage.
It was great until the last update. Now you can't easily pull your files, previously I could easily download all my files at once onto my computer front up space on my phone but now it's a real pain and you can only do one at a time. I won't be using it until that functionality is restored
used to be able to save audio as mp3, now it's just AAC and the files are much larger. They got rid of a lot of the options and the app is too basic now. I'm switching to something that will record mp3
I have used this app for years. it records clearly and for very little, if I choose, they will transcribe it. That said, their transcription skills are an 8.5 out of 10. But, they did re-transcribed it and it was better, when I requested such.
not exactly what i'm looking for but it looks like a great app that serves it's purpose. limited feature set. i'm sure journalists and those who are interested in human transcription will find it useful.
I worked with this app for few days and it was fine. Now it keeps crashing! Thankyou very much for your quick response. I edited my review since it seems that somehow app is working again. ( after few uninstall/reinstalls). Thanks again for your great customer service.
Since the last update the app is a complete dumpster fire. All functionality was broken, and support is a joke. As far as any transparency with regards to a coming fix, it too has been non-existent.
Files are stuck and won't upload, email, or Bluetooth off. Whole job lost!
