It also provides convenient access to Receipts Tracker. This is the easy way to record and manage receipts for your expenses. If you choose to save these images to Revenue storage and you are satisfied that they are clear, readable and complete, you do not need to keep the original receipt. The receipts data you have recorded using RevApp will also appear on your Form 11 or Form 12 if you have chosen to save to Revenue storage. This will help you when you are completing your income tax return and claiming tax relief on your health expenses.
You can also use RevApp to access MyEnquiries, Revenue’s online contact facility that allows you to securely send and receive correspondence to and from Revenue , and Calculators and Tools, which help you to calculate taxes such as Pay As You Earn, Local Property Tax and Vehicle Registration Tax.

Useless except for the receipt tracker. Many of the services available on the website don't work in the app (most notably MyEnquiries). The ones that do work are just a wrapper around the website. Except that the browser is more user friendly (e.g. it allows you to zoom or offers to autofill form entries). The app can't even remember my login credentials! The only thing that works semi-decently is the receipt tracker. Apart from that the app is totally useless.
This app is just not worth the effort. There has been no optimising done for mobile, rather this "app" is just basically a shortcut on your phone to the website. Therefore text is too small to read. documents cannot be opened and the receipt tracker- which would be the one feature you would want to have accessible on the go, does not work on mobile. In short not worth it at all
Useless app, at least on a Galaxy S10. Can click anywhere on the ROS login page, except not in the certificate area, so can't input a password or select the certificate. Which makes the app junk. Useless. Would give less stars if I could, it doesn't do anything useful, at least not on my phone.
Unable to login to ROS from Samsung S9 edge. The login portion of the app is unresponsive to touch, as a result I cannot enter my password or select the certificate field or the login button. The app use to work with the S9 but now it's usless.
What a waste of time of an application, I would give it zero stars if I could. It just affects my mental help trying to use it. You can't open documents and you can't upload receipts, the things you really need this app for. Seems to be no support for this application by the revenue, shocking.
This app needs to be updated. The original app was built for an older version of android hence some functions no longer works. The receipt tracker is obsolete and does not work anymore. Please update .
I had hopes this app might be handy but all it does is redirect you to the website (which is awful BTW and extremely confusing to navigate) . Don't bother wasting your time downloading.
Poorly designed, clearly has had no investment since launch in 2016. Last update was in 2018. Many features do not work, or are effectively pass-throughs to browser. Why release something which damages the owner's reputation? Just dump it and continue to invest in the website which is quite decent.
Needs to be updated to allow the user to update and view documents. Used on both iOS and Android and could never do what I needed to do, always have to use a browser.
The receipts tracker facility has not been fixed.I have reported this problem several times. Revenue supposed to have millions at their disposal for IT upgrades. The Commissioners have been touting their "agility" to deal quickly with changes in the economic landscape. Spend a few quid on this App please.
For individuals, two useful parts are MyAccount to check on things and Receipts Tracker... But you can't log in to RT using MyGovID - and if you have already registered with MyGovID you can't get a standard password for MyAccount... And as the previous reviews say, it's a web wrapper rather than a proper app. Needs significant re-engineering.
Terrible. Hard to use, consistently logs you out when you switch pages. Was able to add receipts but took forever and required about 20 log ins
Lacks function - the one function that this is supposed to be good for is the receipt tracker however it isn't working. It gives an error when setting up the process.
I wanted to use this app to upload medical receipts but cant. all the app says is go to homepage. Absolutely pointless and seeing as its nearly a year since it was last updated I dont think it will be fixed anytime soon.
Woeful. Its not an "app" Its a glorified browser thats, once you log in to check your mail...will then tell you that you have log into the website. The app is just a link to the website. And i have to log into the website!?!?!?! Why did you make this!? Who took money to come up with this lazy dross? Someone was actually paid for this.
not functioning properly. i was looking forward to using this app after recently using the VHI app to scan & submit receipts. Thia Rev App just isnt working right for me. I'll use the standard My Account instead.
Receipt tracker was good while it lasted. Send all functionality gone now as cannot login without digital certificate.
The receipts tracker does not work and gives a number to call to help resolve it. When you call the number, you wait 15 minutes to be told all their technical desk does is reset passwords. An email query takes five weeks for a response, which i am still waiting for. It's the Revenue Department, why am I surprised by this?
Still can not make a tax refund over the app, because the field to put the money in other worts amount don't accept any number from me. Don't care with you put a [, or.] in. Very disappointed.
Terrible app, it constantly looks for me re-register. Not at all convenient if I have to register pretty much every time I want to use it

why am i paying taxes on the person that designed this app. Taught i could upload receipts for medical expenses but just says go to homepage. so doesnt work. The app defeats the purpose
Was working fine but since the start of the year crashes every time I try to add receipts, have gone back to using the laptop
App is out of date, PDF's don't open and it won't allow download on android as it needs a right click.
What a terrible user experience. Useless. very unprofessional. If you are considering using it: don't. Just do it in the web browser.
Not as "easy" as advertised. I ended up having to use my laptop and continued through my browser there. The app doesn't seem fully optimised for Mobile. My major issue is being unable to open and read any documents. All I get is a blank page anytime I try to open a document. There is, however, a lot of potential for this app and perhaps would be a good move to invest in it given that more and more people use phones nowadays.
