I have to uninstall and reinstall app continuously to log in because it won't show me as a user sometimes. Also very glitchy with it's connection to the ELD. Many mistakes are made on the logbook because of it's weak connections.
Never had any issues till March. Can't type in my password and refuses to open. Keep having to re download or contact support to get it functioning. And I need it every day. Not good after the updates.
Your application is faulty. It disconnects from Bluetooth equipment. Maybe your company should suspend this department and concentrate with phones. To top it off, Verizon is supposed to be nationwide but your app can't even stay connected to a Bluetooth signal. Definitely won't recommend this company.
Terrible always has issues my phone can't always find the devices Bluetooth and yes I tried doing everything Verizon recommends for diagnosing the problem. The app always says it needs to update but won't let you do the update.
Can't type password. It will log off when you don't use the app despite telling it to stay logged on. Seems to have issues on Android phones. Only fix was to to uninstall and install.
The absolute worst ELD I have ever used....the customer service is totally a waste of time. You have to bypass the level 1 techs and wait for a level 2 tech to get any satisfaction at all and they are only available during daylight hours.
The last update made it so you can't type in a password once you are in the app (keyboard won't come up). Makes the app useless...
App is frustrating to use at times. It currently is needing to be updated. Now I am at Google play and it is up to date apparently. Still asking to be updated in app.
Horrible ELD. Far to many bugs and malfunctions. It's is hand down the worst app out there. Overly complicated interface, tons of connectivity issues, reporting errors, clock errors, power loss, failing to report accurate logs and certification back to our company. Look at all the reviews. Even the 5 Stars have negative views of the app. Keep Trucking is far superior. Never once in 3 years did I have a problem with its performance. Do not switch your fleet to this app. It's not ready.
Won't bring up the keyboard so I can unlock the lock screen so I have to uninstall and reinstall every time I get the lock screen
I have had to completely replace the entire system twice. Instead of asking for the old system back they say "throw it away". Which goes a long way in explaining what Verizon thinks of their own system. I do like some of their advice, as "just pull off the road" when you are on a two lane road, or to "put it into inspection" before going through a scale so they law enforcement can't see the big VIOLATION error on your screen. But the all time best was an unassigned mileage of 288 miles in less than 2 minutes of driving. They really need a zero or even less than zero rating.
I have been struggling with this app ever since company started using for ELD compliance in Dec., 2017. It frequently drops bluetooth connection and locks up, switches events that occur during the same minute following editing events, and inserts "On Duty" entries when "Off Duty" status is selected. I have contacted tech support and informed them of these and other issues so many times in the past that I am on a first name basis with some of them and have some of Fleetmatic management's direct phone numbers. Despite having done so, most of my concerns have been ignored and no fixes have been forthcoming although thankfully some issues have been resolved. I finally made peace with the app and have devised work arounds to correct most issues, at least superficially, but I no longer contact tech support as doing so is a total waste of time and is an exercise in futility and frustration. Their design team is so slow they have to speed up to stop. I also have experience with some of Fleetmatic's competitor's apps. Guess what? They've got issues too. Fleematics app is actually easier to work with than say Keep Truckin's app so given the choice, I would go with Fleetmatics and continue to wait as fast as you can for them to fix some of the bugs. And no, I won't be contacting Fleetmatics personnel to discuss this review. I'd rather watch paint dry.
Garbage, not accurate, slow and hangs, glitches. Better than prior versions but still way off. (( HINT: LET A TRUCKER DESIGN THE APP)) not a desk jockey. Update: I have to give Verizon and Reveal ELD credit where it is due. "They have,over the year, improved exponentially their system, customer support and usability. I would NOW give my recommendation.
My last review was 1 star. This app was terrible!! I do have to say they have put out a lot of updates and this app has Improved greatly. I updated to 3 stars. I have a fleet of 11 running these units. It used to be I got calls from drivers with books not working everyday. I am no longer getting these calls. Support staff is much more helpful then in the past. Book seems to be working correctly for now. Would be great to have a 2 way messenger built in.
Was rough at first but getting better constantly. at first has trouble with connectivity but switched out the Bluetooth transmitter on tractor, works fine after. Original luck screen used to blind me at night, was switched to a darker drive screen, works great. The biggest problem I know of now is when doing the 30 minute break, the lock screen requires me to close the app to get back to my dashboard. Would love to see that fixed on the next update. Thank you for all the upgrades and support.
I noticed that when using split break option, it only includes the 8/2 split. New laws have been changed to allow an 8/2 & 7/3 option. Also, new law allows either portion to be 1st, as long as the larger portion is in sleeper berth while the 2nd portion can be either off or sb. Would be nice to have the trailer pre & post trips completely separate from the truck. Ex, go into the inspection area and select truck and pre/post trip then select the trailer and do the same.

It's good although somewhat confusing when you are driving. The detailed timers during driving are by default countdown and count-up timers. 30 minute break, countdown. Daily driving, count-up. On-Duty, count-up. I wish there was more consistency there. Such as a settings, for persistent countdown and or count-up. Thank you.
Needs work. Logs on drivers when they're not even in the truck. Does not transfer all data to the desktop site. Update: The app is coming along. The accidental log-ons are not happening any longer. The website interface is still a little clumsy, but with time and patience, it can be mastered.
Update: (NO MAPPING/NO NAVIGATION/NO SUPPORT) This app/service has been getting less shiny and happy as time has passed. I am sorry that I had a part in switching our company to this terrible application. Having issues with disconnects of the ECM/ELD causing incorrect logbooks, having issues with hundreds of false notifications and warnings to the drivers almost every day, and the lack of support on fixes has been shocking. I simply cannot believe that Verizon has put their name on this. At this time, I would ABSOLUTELY NOT RECOMMEND this service to someone if they asked my opinion of it. Huge price, no navigation or mapping, terrible support, and your drivers will probably hate it. Other than that...
This application is terrible, I wouldn't recommend it for anyone. Constantly disconnects from vehicle, does not log your break times correctly, crashes or freezes when trying to start your daily or cycle reset. many times it has put me in violation because it didnt record the 35 minute break I took, or said I'd started a reset only to find the next day it never logged out and I was in an on duty violation. if you want a good eld app this is not the one, but if you want headaches this is it.
This program takes a lot of stress off the driver once they figure it out. I was really concerned about making the change to the eld system in the beginning, but after learning how to use it I am happy with the pressure it has taken off me in my daily routine. Be patient and learn it, driver and I think you will be happy. After seeing complaints from others,I would suggest when the program seems to have a problem, I've found that restarting the phone resolved a lot of the problems
This app is always having glitches. I contacted support and was continously told that they will not fix the issue. Numerous calls from them to me were made to check on it. Never could understand why call me back if you will not fix it. There is no way to edit to show what actually happened when the eld app does not record driving.
Very poor app. Customer service even admitted to me that the app was tossed together and not tested before it was launched. Very glitchy and the default team refuses to fix the problems. Constantly overrides the driver when if comes to changing duty status (forces you onto on-duty when you stop driving and forces you to wait several minutes before allowing you to select off-duty or sleeper-berth). Extremely difficult to read the screen during the day due to the dark blue on black color scheme (tech support insists it's a brightness setting issue, it doesn't matter how bright it is dry during the day I can barely read it). Tactile response is very slow to non existent, constantly have to mash the screen to get any response from the app. Editing duty status is cumbersome and difficult on a good day. Development team does not address any issues you bring up and reach update adds new problems. If I wasn't forced to use this app by my company, I would never use it.
I have downloaded and purchased the service. The ELD does not connect. I have yet to successfully use the service. Customer service does not respond for a few days. By that time, I am on the road and unable to pick up the phone to talk about troubleshooting. So disappointed. Paying for a service that does not provide ANY SERVICE. NOT Happy at all.
