Thank you! This app provides the ability to use Alexa wake up word, similar to OK Google. The skills are great! Highly recommend it! sometimes it doesn't pick up your command. Easy fix is switching command word and back again. I'll update if it is a continuous issue. But it's great! Excited for future releases and fixes.

It is very hepfull, but some important resources are missing: should be very nice if I could to command by voice the applications running at Echo or Echo Dot (TuneIn, Spotify, etc.). The tablet or smartphone can´t play music locally, but they could send voice comands to the applications (play, stop, etc.) running at Echo. Anyway, congratulationns for the app!

Needed this...For one function only! To me, it is worthy of 5 stars, because it will read my Kindle books on my phone that have text-to-speech available. The regular Kindle app, Alexa app and Echo Auto will not read these, only Audible books (too pricey for me, with the amount of books I read). This is a total win for me.

To all leaving one star reviews! What is wrong with you! This app gave you Alexa access from your home screen YEARS back! OK now Amazon added a widget but that does not mean this app deserves one star! The developer worked hard to give you something you did not have and now you rate it with one star because Amazon added it THREE years later! Shameless! YOU DON'T HAVE TO USE IT!!! IMHO this works better as it does NOT dim your whole screen, works just as fast and I think the icon is far nicer!

Love the app especially the custom commmads. I wish I could group custom commands and have different widgets for each group (also the ability to arrange the order within the groups). I would pay for this feature. Thanks and keep up the good work.

This app is a waist of time. Looked nice on the surface, but when in use a lot of the alexa voice services are diminished when attempting use. Weather, and and basic timers are about it. Same thing you can do in the alexa app itself. If you have the alexa app. Don't waist the space on your phone with this app.

Confused. What is the purpose of this app? Everything it can do, the Alexa companion app can do as well, and even a little bit more. Not sure why I should have two apps that do the exact same thing on my phone and take up more space.

I installed this for one reason..to initiate music from another room where my Echo Dot cant hear me. This WILL NOT control or play music through your Alexa. For some bizarre reason, the Alexa remote is not avilable here in the UK via Amazon and alternatives are slim to non existant

Used this for a while but hogs battery when running in the background. Uninstalling now as the latest version of the Alexa app now provides the same functionality as this app but is not so resource hungry

A great concept but doesn work effectively - possible lack of development. E.g requests for News identifies source, e.g. BBC or Sky, but then doesn't play results. Bug or licensing issues?

Was good at first but no need for it now as you can have Alexa widget on your home screen also you can use Alexa in the Alexa app hands free. Also you can access Alexa from Amazon Music app. Also it tells you the temp in F not C like it used to do. So I've uninstalled it now.

Custom commands no longer seem to work. That was my favorite part of this app. I used the list of commands on the widget but now clicking them does nothing :(.

Works OK(sometimes), but at some point just stops listening, meaning you have to manually restart the app to use the trigger phrase, which defeats the object of the app, uninstalled and just use the alexa app now

Works like a charm. I can control my smart devices at home remotely. You can even hear Alexa thru your phone. It's like having her with you wherever you are.

Works perfectly as an echo emulator to use Alexa on a phone without the need of an amazon echo. provides increased functionality for Amazon Alexa app.

no info on how to use it no idea on how to use custom commands can control routines ok but cant start skills with this app other than what is mentioned it works well i look forward to a fix of these features

I love this app it's very helpful but I hope it also can support music I hope you can make an update for it by the way it's really useful

Please dont feel bad ,but i dont really like this app....alexa dosnt respond fast and every time she says she dosnt get what were saying...but at least this app deserve 3 star from me.if you sould help this problem it would be very nice.

i dont know what other people says but when i tap the speaker and i say alexa........ (what i need to say) and it shows thinking for a while , then dont gives the answer i didnt like it😞. when i first installed it i signed in i enjoyed it but after dint worked😔... sorry..😩,dosent takes my questions!😑

You have to tap the microphone symbol & keep your finger on it for it to record. A slight hassle. Not good for lazies like me.

This is actually good and amazing like if we cannot afford purchasing an Alexa on Amazon,we can freely have Alexa on our mobile phone.Good App because I can really communicate with Alexa using my phone,It's Legit!🙂💓

I cant seem to download the app Amazon Alexa. it says not available in my country(singapore). Why is that so? Does it mean that not all country can use this? waste of money then..

Works great in the car. I'm surprised Amazon doesn't have their own app.
