- Powerful game engine.

Game settings
- Level: select the level of game, between 1 (easy) and 7 (difficult)
- Select if the application has to play with white or black; select human vs. human mode
- Show last move
- Show valid moves
- Show emoticon (active only during last part of a game)
- Show game animations
- Optional voice output and / or sound effects
Game rules
Each player must place a new piece in a position that there exists at least one straight (horizontal, vertical, or diagonal) line between the new piece and another piece of the same color, with one or more contiguous opposite pieces between them.
Black color starts first move. When player cannot move, the other player takes the turn. When neither players can move, the game ends. The winner is the player that owns more pieces.
IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR BEGINNERS: our game performs multiple moves, as any similar application, only in case you cannot move as you don't have any valid place to go, i.e. when you have to pass your turn according to well known game rule "If one player can not make a valid move, play passes back to the other player".

In case you perform the optional signin, the Reversi application can access your Google Play Games profile.

Good AI scaling. Bad design when it comes to options. Would be much better if there was an option to have computer alternate black/white every other game.
The computer's turn is animated a little quickly for the user to see what is happening, but other than that, I have no complaints. I didn't pay for this app. It doesn't show ads. It doesn't beg for money. Anyone who rates this less than 5 stars is an ungrateful cretin.
Hey, your app is great. I would have given 5 stars everywhere if we could have an option for the ai to wait before playing after the player turn. It would help to see the impact of my choice, before seeing the choice of the ai.
I'm not bad at reversi. I've played it so many times and won so many times. That said, even the easy difficulty is frustratingly difficult for me. If level one is beginner, then can I get a level zero for morons?
Works bettter when the animations are disabled. The openning book is weak. I beat all the levels very easily.

Most aggressive othello ever! Almost like dynamic players as 'ghosts in the machine'. I've never seem such advanced heuristics / algorithms and competetive Ai.
Excellent game.... I wish it had ability to play against other players. Bot lightning fast and you find your self on the ground in a flash
No ads, fine on the eyes, and really hard on my tiny brain - what more could you want?
Considering app size, its not that bad. But i have already played the better versions. Still a nice way to get an idea for the newcomers to this game
I downloaded this for one reason, someone reviewed saying its hard and they want an easier mode, and instead of being any kind of decent you just whinged and said "maybe we shouldn't make games" this attitude is pathetic, absolutely pathetic. Games are meant to be fun for everyone, not just the people you think should be good enough. Grow up.
After reading some other reviews a 2 rating is probably unfair, but I can't delete my last review. I still don't know that the app fully deserves a 5, but I figured if I still have it, it's doing something right.

Very interesting game
If you are an expert at reversi, you will probably enjoy the challenge. If, like me, you are not, you will have the same experience as walking down the wrong dark alley in the wrong neighborhood. You won't know what's going on or why it's happening, but at the end you'll know you've been badly beaten. Your pride will hurt. And you won't know how to have a better outcome except by not going there again. However you will not have had your money taken. You've been warned.

Was entertaining for a while
This game offers animations + quick play so it's suitable for beginners as well as speed players. Therefore most reviews posted are invalid. You can have the AI's last move displayed and adjust AI to your ability. This is THE Reversi app for me. Would love to see online matches coming and a way to support further app development. PS if you don't know how to play and have difficulty learning the gameplay don't leave a negative review. This is a five star app!
