This app is a "must have" for anyone who frequently shops on Amazon. Numerous studies and reports have shown that many of the product reviews on Amazon are fake, biased, incentivized or otherwise unnatural. These reviews skew the product ratings, making it difficult for Amazon shoppers to trust the ratings and reviews.
ReviewMeta uses advanced algorithms and data analysis techniques to identify customer reviews that may be unnatural. It then removes (i.e. filters out) those suspicious reviews and generates an "Adjusted Rating" using only the reviews and ratings deemed natural (i.e. organic) and therefore trustworthy.
Checking an Amazon product's adjusted ReviewMeta rating is fast and easy using this app. Simply click the 'Share' icon while viewing an Amazon product within the Amazon Shopping app OR in any web browser app (i.e. Chrome, Firefox, Safari, etc.).
The ReviewMeta app keeps a history of all of the Amazon products you've checked (for easy access later on), and it also allows you to tag your favorite products to create a personalized Amazon wish list.
Never buy anything on Amazon again without first checking its true rating using this free ReviewMeta app!

Update: there seem to be more bugs recently. It started around Xmas, so I thought maybe they were just getting overloaded but it's continued. I haven't been using it as much recently. Also I agree that the ads have gotten worse! Earlier: I use this on Firefox and was relieved to find it on Android! It works great and always warns me of bad or inflated reviews.
Won't rotate to horizontal view, when I move my tablet to the horizontal position. This means that it is ALWAYS difficult & annoying to use with my tablet, since it is stored in a keyboard case. I am using a Samsung Galaxy Tab S6. Otherwise, I find the app helpful. One thing I REALLY wish you would do is to provide a link to a list of ONLY the reviews you have deemed valid.
Tried reading their privacy policy and the link is broken. Link still doesn't work from app. Don't want to sound crazy, but should be reachable through the app since I have to "understand and agree" from there to keep using it. I won't doubt you have it, but having to reach it from a separate link is just fishy. Just want to be absolutely sure my info is somewhat protected. Thx for the prompt reply.
I needed to make several purchases from Amazon now that we're staying home and social-distancing. Discovering this app by accident, I installed it and wondered how I survived without it! It has helped make better buying decisions especially as the number of ⭐s and inflated positive reviews appear to be increasing. At least now I have a more informed basis to make better purchase decisions and fewer returns because the item was "over-rated"!
I appreciate this site/app as an option. I also trust the algorithm that looks to honestly weed out fake Amazon reviews. What I don't appreciate is how unreliable the host is where the app exists. Even when using the website, there are numerous errors that continue on for several days at a time. Thus, you can not check any reviews that require an update or for products that are newly reviewed by ReviewMeta. It's 2022. Time for the site owner to fix these bugs that last for days.
IP blocked for too many requests. Yeah, not really possible to not request so much as almost every product on Amazon requires a report refresh. On top of that, none of their preliminary reports are even reliable as they always show a "PASS" grade but their full reports ALMOST ALWAYS show either "FAIL" or "WARN". I'd say across the board on average I get 1/10 passes, 3/10 warns, and 6/10 fails. Really? What's the point of the preliminary reports? Still waiting to get unblocked after contacting them.
Website is Better. Ive been using the website for a year, and I love it because it has saved me from wasting time and money on crappy Amazon products, with false 5 star reviews. However, they need to work on making the app better, as accurate and easy as their website. When they improve the app, I'll re-download. In the meantime, I'll continue to use the website.
Honestly fantastic for checking out products, the UI needs a lot of work and the app does not save the screen I am on if i switch between this app and the amazon one. Would be nice to be able to bulk refresh ratings in a certain group with a premium app version or something
Very convenient vs browser option. I've been using ReviewMeta for a while but as I'm shopping via the Amazon app the prices of getting a product URL from the Amazon site and then paying it into the ReviewMeta site was a pain in the back. This app takes care of it and is super easy to use - hack you!
Detailed analysis of reviews gives you a far better idea of which products have been stuffed with fake reviews, so you can make an informed choice. The browser extension for Chrome works well on my pc, but sadly the Android app only works on my tablet in portrait ...and upside down! Which is a bit of a bummer. Otherwise it would be 5 star.
Idea is great! But it still needs much improvements. This app provides users only English. Also not supporting for landscape mode. So it's inconvenient to check products on small screens. Furthermore, not working on tablets. I will look forward updated version and update my review.
Every item I try to share to this app shows a pop-up thats reads: "There was a problem loadng this page. The bug has been recorded amd sent to our tech to fix!" Worthless.
Much better than fakespot, which failed my beloved Sonicare brush heads (but the actual Sonicare toothbrush got flying colors, go figure). Much more information is available about the reviews also. I use it on every new product I read about.
Very handy. It has a simple adjusted score, but you can also view the incredibly detailed breakdown if you want to learn more.
Incredible app. Extremely intelligent and consists of so much transparent data that I will always be confident in the quality of reviews for anything I buy online. It really is easy to use and teachers less time than trying to read through the actual reviews on Amazon. Just incredible
Downloaded today ! Followed instructions, tried it just now on Amazon. It asked me to copy and paste url !!! Really? Then it told me to download their browser which I did and it just blinked over to the original app!! Disappointed !
Useful check. Pricing and review quality are useful data points in making a buying decision. Would be five stars but for length of time to generate some reports, downtime and klugy appearance.
Amazon (and other sites)reviews need to be better regulated as many are deceptive. This is a good tool. Thank you very much.
Forge app....shows only few selected products...the ones which I tried to see the accuracy of the app doesn't show at all .... cheaters
Totally stinks, doesn't work at all. Just gives you a page error Everytime you access it.
Review for Android app. Terrible experience from the start! I don't liike getting the acknowledgement everytime. I couldn't get the app to review any products, it kept going back and forth between complaining there were too many reviews for any product on Amazon and asking me to review their app.
About time, was using the online edition but saw they had an app. Happy to see & utilize it! I can't say yet about ad's but based on my web experience, a solid 5 ⭐ App.
This app shows overwhelming 5 star 'ratings', but if you check the 'reviews', they are MUCH more mixed, EXACTLY what it accuses Amazon of! 🤣 Used to love this for checking reviews on Amazon, maybe it used to be better. Shows a review score lower than Amazon, but supports that by removing 'suspicious' reviews that are LOWER than 'non-suspicious' reviews, which makes no sense! have contacted the developer of this app regarding issues I have seen and have never received a response. Uninstalling.
UPDATE TO Original Review: IT STILL DOESN'T WORK SINCE PURCHASING A Samsung Galaxy S10 plus in November. I verify I definitely have the most up to date version of app, share a product from Amazon with the share feature in menu of browser, get redirected with option to open app or go to website to view report, select app, app opens but now receive a msg recommending I use the available app. Hello, I'm using the app! 🤔 Pure Garbage, Save Your Time! DOESN'T work, Such a waste of time!
This app is no longer functioning of its own volition. Updates have lead it to favor Amazon products it once rated accurately. I don't trust the new operators have taken this app since the lead creator stepped aside.
It seems to work well Update: I love this app. I think it is very helpful information they provide. Just gives us, the consumer a heads up to check things out before we buy.
It helps screen for unreliable reviews (which I would do anyway) and tells you why some aren't reliable.
Seems to work well, fewer complaints also against it, will confirm in 6 months. It took out 423 suspicious reviews out of 679 and the remainder was still high rating, so does not seem as biased and more complex than fakespot which i also just tried. One of them is for sure wrong. Fakespot gave it a definite fail and no reasons. This one took out the fake ones and reviewed based on real reviews. Also, this app did not offer me its own products on amazon like fakespot did
Really helps! At first I thought it would be a gimmick and tried some reviews which I myself found to be fishy and app clearly recognised them I think this a must app in today's time when most of us r dependent on online shopping
Have had to take my rating down to 2 stars from 5 because it just doesn't seem to work anymore. 9 times out of 10 I either just get an infinite loading screen or it tells me that it can't find the product I'm looking for. I'm only leaving it at 2 stars because when it does work it's an invaluable tool, I'm just disappointed that it's not working.
