As a ham I frequently need to do exactly this type of calculations. While the app doesn't do all the math during antenna setup, it does enough to get good ballpark estimates in the field and doesn't overload that poor little CPU you usually have in a smartphone. For precise calculations you'll still have to use specialized but extremely slow software, though. There's a ton of other useful stuff for RF engineering, too...

Awesome tool. Appreciate the reference equations in the help tab. This allows a quick calculation using the tool, then integration of other features by recreating the calculations in excel using the reference equations.
