RFCalc

RFCalc (RF CALCULATOR) is a collection of five, linked RF calculators and an associated conversion utility, each in its own tabbed panel. It performs VSWR, transmission line,skin depth, and radio link calculations. The VSWR tab converts between VSWR, return loss, transmission loss, and reflection coefficient. A TLine tab calculates input and impedances and admittances and attenuation. The TLpar tab determines characteristic parameters of transmission lines. Skin depth and surface resistance for a variety of metals can be found with the Skin tab. The Friis tab performs link calculations and relates gain, effective area, and antenna factor. The help feature explains how to use the calculators.
