Disappointed with this app. Cannot find where it stores the photos it takes. I cannot find the phantom rgbcam file folder it says it is saving the photos to. I have resorted to taking screenshots. No different than any of the other false colorizing apps out there and should be used for fun purposes only.
This app would be awesome except it hijacks my photos. They are never available to see right away. They pop days later and not all of them come back. It's as if my pics are being monitored. I take freaking screenshots cuz I know that's the only way to see what's missing. And yes I checked everywhere on my phone. I know it's bull because it takes days for the pictures to finally appear in the folder.
Tested the UV on sunscreen. It works!! Will be getting the full version. Of course it won't have full UV or IR vision because your camera filter those out, but it's enough to check when and where you need to apply/reapply sunscreen, which is what I wanted! The app itself is great it's just the camera that's limited.
Tried with a sidewinder ir light, it doesn't really filter/process the light. Does seem to do a good job at processing an image, but if you, like me, were hoping for night vision this will not work.
I like it but I was looking for an app that allows me to apply this effect to pre-recorded videos. This one doesn't go to your gallery to select videos or photos. It just only want to take new photos with this effect. I like this app but it's not what I was looking for. Someone else may love it! 🙂
Camera works, but pictures disappear - no in app menu to choose where they're saved, and they don't appear anywhere on my phone afterward; even with a file manager deep search. Disappointing 😐
Awesome app. It worked for my thin viens. Absolutely must try it if your having difficulty locating your viens. Only thing that needs improvement is different resolutions and lighting options
Actually works (within the camera's limitations). Near IR was able to detect my remote control's IR light. Very cool app.
I can take NIR image with the app. However, i cannot find the images anywhere in the sd card or in the phone despite the app indicating that the images are saved.
Love this app it really is awesome and dose work. If something is out there you will be able to see it with at least one of the many lenses. Guaranteed. I got all my friends on it.
Does identify places with more of the color you select, but doesn't only show that color.
Works well on Samsung Galaxy s9. Only thing is that it's very pixelated.
It looked like it was going to be a great tool to use but after I took several pictures I can't find them anywhere. Where did they go?
interesting app. Works on s7 edge. well done
Not useful at all, it's the same as using a flashlight.
Does not actually work, just a gimmick coloring.
Not working on Redmi note 7 pro.
Kept crashing before i could start it
Nope, nope, and nope. How's that's song go... Making infrareeeed outta nothin at alllll... ya somethin like that.
Very good for a fun time .
It works
This does not resolve UV/IR, it is simply a visible colour filter as the app name suggests. To verify this do the following:1. check your camera can detect IR by using your TV remote control and your normal camera app. 2. Using this app with IR setting point camera at a warm object of any colour except red on a cooler red background and note that the background is lighter than the warmer object. 3. if you have time on your hands point the camera at a kettle and turn it on - your kettle won't change colour and neither will your image, despite the IR getting more and more intense. Just a fun app like the "lie detectors" but well made. In order to use your camera to image IR you need a physical filter to block the visible spectrum, you cannot resolve IR in the sensor output after the sensor has turned it into a false white.
