Even though I'm a subscriber, it continuously asks me to subscribe to get "the full story. " I then log in again and it goes back to the story I was trying to read and displays the subscribe blue box again. Really annoying and on the verge of canceling. Can't get any online help and not going to spend my time on hold if I call them. 3rd rate stuff
Love my local news and this APP is simple. The articles are extremely readable, short and feature links to stories similar. However everytime I access this app I cannot read an article until I login. And the app does not stay logged in for long as the app will log you out and prompt again to login. Its annoying
Does not save login information! Nice to have relevant local news with notifications. HOWEVER, the app logs one out after each usage. This is a fatal flaw and I will be uninstalling.
Terrible access control. I'm a subscriber, but much of the material throws up a "for subscribers only - subscribe here" paywall with no way to log in. Otherwise, layout is ok. But far to many notifications.
Can't just read the paper. Provides VERY limited number of articles, 95% sports. Weather story in today's version at 4 pm is about a snow storm that hit yesterday, and ended early this morning - Actually says it's 24 hours old.
App is unusable and won't load. Sign-in error states that the app doesn't comply with Google's secure browser policy.
Many small bugs. Logs you out automatically, prompts to "stay in dark mode" everytime your phone automatically changes, large ads in app even if you're a paid subscriber
No log on link. Every time you try to log on you are told to sign up! Even though I have an account. Somehow you have can take you payments out of my credit card account easy enough!
I tried to cancel my subscription right after an auto renewal.. no love from John Michael Doculan customer service representative... Too bad. I love USA Today and how they present things I was just going to change my subscription model... But now I will find my news somewhere else...
Too many stale news stories. Articles presented on the main page can be several days, and in some cases weeks, old.
A lousy newspaper. Lack of news in the paper plus the paper never gets delivered in the morning. No one there does anything about it. Very poor service.
Frustrated that I can't log into my existing account, even after I changed the password. Shouldn't be this hard to access the news.
Your app doesn't allow subscribers to log in to read stories. It just keep trying to get me to subscribe. Try focusing on your current customers instead of trying to drum up new business.
Provides local news in a faster fashion than a newspaper. Customizable for areas of interest a big plus.
Multiple times during the year the app tells me I'm out of free stories.....I'm a subscriber, this shouldn't happen. Why I am I paying SO much more that new subscribers even after their 1st year
Crashes constantly. Lousy layout...articles long out of date still appear
Used to be free news like the internet and most other news apps are. Now it's subscription based. Deleting app now.
Constantly have to re-login, multiple times per day. Barely usable...
Logs me in, takes my money, but doesn't let me do the most basic account management, like report missing paper. Stupid.
Does not stay logged in. I have to log in with an account every time app is launched.
This app will not open most of the time it used to be good but not any more!!!
I signed up for 1.00 for 3 months and I was immediately charged 7.99. I called Gannett (the app manager) they yelled at me I wasnt in the system and hung up on me. I called Google Play, they refused my refund and told me to call Gannett. Get it together guys. No matter the situation you learn how to treat your customers, because you just lost one. 🙁
Even though I pay for an account I can't acces more than a few articles.
RGJ does not keep certain categories or stories current. Ie Wolf Pack.

Forces camera permission or it will not update. This app has no business acsessing my camera! Uninstalled.
I like this app it's very good
Lacks clarity on the headline page. It is too busy. I don't like the layout. The content is good but lacks a clear uncluttered headline page. The text in the story's body is too small for aged eyes to see clearly. Increase the text font size. Clearly designed by younger designer not for older customers. Until changes are made, I will not recommend to others.
