Looking for a neat drum sequencer for the way? Without getting lost in sub menus and bunches of tabs? The Rhythm Composer H-404 is a single screen drum sequencer for quick drum loops on the fly. It roughly orients on the ingenious 808 (which often is just too heavy to carry for a spontaneous jam). We tried to make the interaction as intuitive and convenient as possible by focusing on what we felt the most essential drum composer features:
• one 1/16th loop pattern
• 9 fine tuned drum samples (to get started)
• pitch and volume fader for each sample
• BPM control
• 6 completely independent sets (with autosave)
• reset for clearing a set with one tap

About as basic as they come. 16 step sequencer with low quality sounds. One drum set... A bit naff!

But there's only 16 note rhythms, no options to change to triplets or sextuplets either.

Its hard
I like this concept. It reminds me of the TR808. I've marked it a 3 star because although it's ok, there are only 16 steps on the pattern board. I'd like to see 32 steps and the ability to cut patterns to form 12 and 24 step patterns. Also, when in play back it shifts out of time slightly. I'd also like a 3rd Tom and a Clavi added to the instrument board. These fixes might rate this app a 5. I'd basically like an 808 copy. Thanks
