Rhythm SYNC

Dumpster fire of an application. Doesn't do anything well. Avoid at all costs. On the other hand, the HRM (Rhythm Plus) has very accurate readings. I just wish it had an app that would sync with Google Fit instead of having to use a 3rd party. If you want an Android app that just shows your HR on the app (when it connects to the device) and won't give you any other useful information than that, than this app is for you.

Can't get any recorded data with Sync LITE 1.11. The only thing I can do is to see the momentary HR and HR Zone. But I am not able to see any historical data, which makes the device almost useless for me. Very disappointed, I ordered the device to Europe and figured I can't get much value out of it with it's own app.

Rhythm device connected to phone, app and Garmin Vivoactve 3 with no problems. ¶ Found "Zones" customization - set my Zones, updated to the device, went back to the app. When I saw the LED's changing at unexpected HR's, I went back in the app and checked - the zones weren't what I set! Tried several times, but it seems the programmers just don't like ►MY◄ settings! ¶ Keeping the device - you can see it's connected even in bright sunlight. I'll learn to live with SCOSCHE's idea of where MY zones should be. But SCOCHE needs a programmer upgrade, bad!

Android user, 3 hrs later still am not able to view activity. I was able to download firmware updates like others did by using an iPhone and later connecting the band back to my android. Within the app, the My Details menu is not enabled, so I am not able to see anything there, unless this is supposed to be this way, which I doubt because the screenshot in the app shows activity. Apparently, this device works the best when you have another fitness tracker too much negative for only 500 character

Probably worst app for functionality. Have downloaded and uninstalled 5 times and it still doesn't give my pulse without the HRM showing up regardless of what setting it is on. HRM portion is also pretty much useless, much better free apps out there for HRM. Only have this app for software updates. That's about its only purpose out side of downloading saved exercises. Granted, the app is so bad I just use the live data with my Garman Connect.

Android App would never connect to the HRM. Bluetooth pairing saw and could connect via Android, but the app never saw the HRM. Eventually borrowed an iPhone to do the HRM firmware update which worked perfectly. Ended up uninstalling this app as it is useless on Android. This all happened with a Rhythm24. The Rhythm+, I had before, worked very well and I regret spending the extra money for the Rhythm24 as I'm unable to use any of the additional features without an iPhone.

The ONLY app that won't connect to the Fitness24 is by the manufacturer. This is unreal. Why are other software companies able to connect to the Rhythm but not Scosche? Samsung? Check. Lifetime check. Scosche? Never sees the device. How am I supposed to manage and or update the device if I can't connect to it? Tons of similar comments, but no update from the manuf? App is BROKEN AND DOES NOT WORK.

The Android version is rubbish, it does not work. I used a friend's Apple to upgrade the firmware, no problem once I was aware that the battery has to be at less than 10% to allow the firmware update to happen. There's a Scoshe video on YouTube explaining this.

This app isn't going to win any awards, but there's no alternative for installing firmware updates on a Scosche Rhythm24, retrieving recorded data, or even switching modes. Latter is especially problematic, because the app won't start when offline!

Unusable. UI is very basic looks like a doodle of a basic programmer. It only function as a way to read battery level. But the reading is also incorrect. After using it for 4 hrz (almost 50% of its battery life) Itz reading is 75%. Another 4 hrs and the app shows 45% when it should be like 5% or less. After few minutes the device died due to lowbat.

Unless & until the full featured download function for use in the pool or swimming is released .I am giving it a low rating . I am still more than a bit miffed that I purchased it as soon as it was released even paying extra to import into Canada. I do not recall Scosche saying will not work as advertised on android phones. In fact not even the lite version of app for android was available.

Pure junk. Amazing, looks like this has been going on for a long time with this app, years maybe? Old rhythm 24 worked fine, was stolen got a new one. New one wouldn't connect to this app and wahoo fitness. Used an iphone to update firmware, still doesn't work. Oddly, it does work with Rouvy. Funny that Rouvy can write code that works with the Scosche device, but Scosche can't?!?!? But with new fw, it now resets back to heart rate only mode which is usesless for me since I use this for cycling. I would have to borrow an iphone every time I turn it on to set the mode to cycling. This company knows nothing about software, not a good thing when their device depends on it

Unreliable. First time I got it to connect with to my device after most recent Android update. Lost connection after 2minutes; still seems connected just doesn't show heart beat. Pretty useless app. Shame on this company for such incompetence.

Useless. Only thing it might be useful for is updating the firmware, only that doesn't work on Android. Called the tech support only to be told that they didn't know because the tech on the phone had an iPhone... Ended up doing it on my wife's iPhone & uninstalling this garbage.

The app is absolute rubbish on Android. Despite all manner of steps, cannot get the Rhythm 24 to connect to my Pixel 4. Like others who have reviewed this, I had to borrow an iPhone to do a firmware update. How can they get it this wrong? Last update to the app almost a year ago!? Apparently the vendor doesn't care. This will be the last Scosche product I buy.

Downloaded so I could update the firmware on my Rhythm+. I connect to the app, start the firmware update and it makes my HRM turnoff and zero progress is made on the update. This app has one purpose and it can't fulfill it.

The Android app is utterly useless. Cannot change heart rate zones, enter personal info or upgrade firmware. Pretty astounding that the manufacturer is unable to create software that supports their own product when 3rd parties were able to do so.
