The visuals and the audio (including the metronome) are out of sync. Playing along with what you hear will make you play too late and miss the beat, according to the app. What the app counts as correct is the visuals, which happen about 0.2 seconds earlier than the beat.
it's simple and does its job by teaching the ability and giving you all the practice you need.it's also great that it's completely free. you have to unlock new levels by progressing through the prior levels which forces you to learn.
I think there's an error on level 12, around where the TIE comes into play. The bar it finishes on doesn't seem to have 3 beats.. unless I've got this spectacularly wrong? *edit* just had it confirmed by two pro musicians: there is an error there.
Needs beaming on 8th and 16th notes. A setting for the speed would help a great deal, so users don't have to go at such a fast pace but can build up gradually.
You have to hit about 1/8 beats before a note. AND THERE IS SO MUCH ADDDDDDDDDDDDDSSSSSSSSSSS :( You cannot do multi on computer. Pls make it more modern. It is a pretty good app, but pls do these improvements and they will help alot :D.
Very useful app for beginners to learn rhythm. It has normal number of ads. Even with more ads, it's still much better than apps asking users to buy after playing 10 minutes.
Pretty cool app for rhythm training. Slight delay on my phone means i am unable to play the faster exercises. ability to adjust tempo or calibrate the app with the phone would be cool
Nice app. But I just came across a glitch in level 37 where the 3/4 time has suddently one bar @ 4/4 and the end bar clicks at 2/4. Will report if I come across another ... Would give it 5 stars if glitch free!
It Is ok, but not smooth . It needs calibration. some bars skip ahead or behind tima at times, therefore you tap rightly, but It gives you a Power score.
Great app. if it had a few more easy levels with strictly quarter notes, rests, and half notes for beginner students, I'd give it 5 stars.
I use this in my piano lessons. The kids love to compete, gain medals and get on the leader board. Is there a melody version? And can you choose not to have the dark backgrounds (too dark for some students). great app!
The app is honestly amazing, but i had to unistall it bcz it doesnt have metronome calibration, the latency was so bad. It had all the time signature practises, am so sad that i had to uninstall it
This would be great if there were no dark colours as a background. Reading black notes on dark grey or flashy dark blue makes this app unbearable.
Great idea but there is a lag. It's so bad that you have to hit the notes 1/2 beat ahead. It really throws me off. Had to uninstall it.
It does what is says but I would like to request adding a feature where we could choose different bpm. Else this app seems perfect for practising rhythm

you may think that you are good with rhythm when you are just familiar with simple time signature. But with this application you'll come to realize that there is more to be learned.
I use this app to practice multi beats. Sometimes there are a lot of ads but it's free to use so I don't mind.
there have been a few errors in the app (4 beats in a 3/4 measure, e.g.), but otherwise the app has been very handy.

great app to teach 7yo some rhythm :). Lvl 12 has a mistake. one bar has 2 beats.
It pretty difficult to find an app that allows you interact with the notes being shown. This app not only teaches how to read music but how to develop good rhythm and timing. Im impressed and i highly recommend this app for those looking to increase their sight reading skills. Thanks again!
