RhythmStar: Music Adventure

This game is cute, and a lot of fun. I absolutely loved it up until about level 288 where it became a play to win game, impossible to beat the boss even with three S rank heroes not missing a note and perfecting most of them. Because of this, I do not recommend this game. I am very upset about the outcome after dedicating so much time into it. Not to mention the gatcha pulls are terrible. You have a chance to pull shards for heroes you have already obtained rather than someone new.

This game is, in my opinion, the best rhythm game ever. It ties a rhythm game to a story that doesn't over power the game. The game is level based, and each song you complete you unlock to play infinitely on your own.

It's a wonderful game . The song collection is mix with old and new version. I can't stop playing it's really addicting wanting to get to the next lvl and continue the story . The one thing that frustrated me at first was the sync of the best after finding you own beat and sync with the song it's smooth sailing. The idol are so cute ❤️ that a plus for me . Please take a jump and play this wonderful game it's in own world.

this is the only rhythm game that's stuck with me for years and i'm at a point now where i'm just done with it. past level 277 it's nearly impossible to get 3 stars, even with all decently leveled S heroes and no matter how perfect your note hits are. grinding magic powder has a level cap, so you're stuck doing challenges/arena for weeks to level up a hero once. will be keeping to play the songbook- but very disappointed in how this turned out. gameplay itself is fun and the music is great.

Lots of songs, cute story and graphics, and no need to pay anything or watch ads if you don't want to. The only problems I've had are... 1. The timing was way off at the start... it should have had a sync before the first song, instead of me needing to find the sync after failing the first song miserably 2. Sometimes (very rarely) the songs glitch out and the timing gets off 3. Some parts of some songs are crazy difficult (for me)

Some of the translations can be confusing and they added in an odd system of "runes" that doesn't feel explained well, but the gameplay is nice and I love the difficulty of the songs. Also has cute characters, and I like it enough to keep playing.

Awesome game... but... The sync is horrendous. I have tried to sync the music countless times, o ly to mess it up further and further. I had it perfect at one time, but somewhere it glitched and now I cant get it back. I want to give the game a much higher score, but really having difficulty doing so because the lag is so bad. I'm happy there is an option to try and fix it, but I shouldn't have to reset it 5-8 times in one sitting, EACH time I play. 5 ☆ when this is addressed.

I love the concept and the art of this game. But there are always an exceptional which is I cannot tap the key and end up missing all the tabs thus failed to pass the level. I can't always use the auto play and keep on losing my dia. This loses the fun in playing the rhythm itself. I hope you can fix this problem asap. I hope the developer didn't ignore my problem. Thanks for your hard work. 😄

One heck of an amazing rhythm game for android, my only qualm is that sometimes while I'm playing a level, the screen will freeze for anywhere from a fraction of a second, to one second, and cause me to miss one or more notes, which I find a little disheartening. I don't know if it's my phone, or the game, but if you guys could look into it, it would be greatly appreciated, 9/10 would keep playing

Very good rhythm game. Probably one of the best I was very happy to see the style of the sync settings and you can fine tune it also which a plus in itself. You can't really watch the fighting at the top but you can see when you're doing good you're just destroying the enemies lol. 1 thing I hope they change is being able to manually download all the songs in settings into the game file because it's frustrating when you can't hear a preview of the song until after you use dia and it downloads.

I don't usually leave perfect reviews but this game is amazing! Cute graphics,runs very smooth,and the music is great! It does have the usual 'lots of pop ups in the game' for events and mail,but if you look past that,this game takes the cake. Also,one of my first rhythm games I hope to play for a long time to come. Definately not deleting!

Cute and absolutely fun. However, there are a few bugs that I've encountered that are a little frustrating. A few times I've had notes utterly vanish from the board, causing me to fail a song even though there's nothing to hit and I've already beaten the enemies required. Other than little bugs, it's an adorable rhythm game that's plenty fun!

Would be nice to have audible feedback when hitting the buttons, a sound effect to confirm when a note is hit. Maybe add a way to skip auto songs so we don't have to watch and wait for it to finish. Please consider making the home menu buttons (at the bottom of the screen) always available so that I don't have to return to the previous menu three times to get to the main page or visit the event page.

Until fixed I can't give it anything higher than a 2. I will change it when the problem is resolved. The problem the game has is that during a song it will just minimize or force close the game. This makes playing the game not just an issue, but very annoying. I really enjoy the game. but you guys need to fix this before I can rate it higher.

Fun game to pass the time, I only wish you can play new levels offline, but you can still play songs you already have offline. I also have an issue with some levels where the notes are not synced up with the music and the level ends before the song ends. This problem is fixed by simply restarting the level, but it would be nice if this problem would be eliminated altogether.

It's a very cute rhythm game that I can get into. Most of the rhythm games I played can get repetitive and the lack of story and adventure can get a little redundant. So this game is a very good one if you are trying to break free from the "formal" ones out there. Other than the a little wonky translation and the weird chest slot mechanic (no matter what I do, chest slot is always filled even tho it's empty), I recommend this.

It's really fun to play but its sometimes buggy. When I'm in a middle of a song, the notes glitch out and skip parts of the song causing everything to be desyncronized. This happens regardless if I synchronize or not. Moreover, the recent update makes it impossible for me to adjust the number of extract I want in exchange for soul stones; when I press the + key, it kept increasing the number of extracts that I want to exchange up to the max number of extracts I had. Same goes if I pressed the -.

Cute graphics with fun game play... Well it's fun until the game quickly punishes you if you don't want to use items. *sigh I understand the freemium model, but at least allow players to play the story mode, and don't just ramp up the difficulty when player is barely starting. In the end, it's just one of those games where you just play on the day you install the game, and then stop since the game suddenly ramps up difficulty so high to get you to buy stuff.

It's a really fun rhythm game, I just have a few issues I wish could be changed 1) I cannot remove runes from old heros 2) the scoring is very odd, I think you should be able to complete all levels without boosts, only using them as a crutch. But it doesn't seem that way on some levels 3) The button sensitivity is often broken and I miss a lot because of that. I will click the note and it will say I miss. If these issues are addressed, this game will get better Overall, a cute game

I love the premise of this game. Classical music remixes, it's an actual high-quality mobile rhythm game, cute art style, almost everything is in this games favor. However, the translations into English are less than perfect, and the difficulty curve desperately needs tuning- levels 36 and 37 are much harder than they should be, especially if going for 3 stars. I still recommend this game, but beware that some levels feature a massive spike in difficulty.

Another good rhythm game to add to my list. Do not like the 6 key style gaming (or however that's called) since the arrangement of keys become bunched up. Wish there was a way to play landscape. Would love for a better way to earn all forms of currency in game. All in all a pretty solid game, love the music, concept and character designs.

Great game! My fingers feel like they're dancing while playing most songs which is great. Some levels feel impossible due to how many notes are on screen at once making it hard to process before the notes are flying off screen. There's not much dialogue in the game but it's mostly broken English which is funny and hard to understand.

Fun game with great music. For all games, it's not 5 stars unless they can be played without being forced to spend money, and I feel like this game gives you a lot of opportunities to enjoy playing without wasting your money or game items. They let you open chests without paying, and you can keep playing after you run out of lives ("Music" button). And the times to wait for life or chests is super short anyway. Only problem is the board is vertical and makes my hands cramp to play.

This game has a very nice concept behind it. The characters and the music are all lovely. However, the game is definitely still in the works. I ended up deleting the game, in fact, because when you click notes it has the tendency to glitch and say you did not select the notes AND the notes are not near as in sync as they should be, making it harder to play along with the music. However, this game has a strong ability to improve and, in time, become something amazing.

Fun game. Needs more customization of the note heads. Random things will pop up in front of your game saying irrelevant information, and cover part of the side lanes. Many difficult patterns due to the two thumb necessity. Can be easier if you lay the phone down and use 3/4/5 fingers, but takes practise. The rounds that speed up are frustrating because everything around them is far easier.

Fun gameplay, adorable character design, beautiful soundtrack and overall one of the best gacha style games I've played so far. However, the english translation is very poor, having a lot of misspellings, syntax errors and weird phrasing all around. Plus, while there is a tutorial that teaches you about the rhythm gameplay, nothing in-game tells you anything about team building. I still have no idea what a hero's element (translated as attribute) does.
