Its useful, but isn' the full version. I have the paid for version on my pc but can't seem to sign in on my phone. It just keeps asking me to upgrade. No help with this issue after emailing them yet. Its great on my p.c. I've had Ribbet for 8+yrs. Recently they have made major changes because of the demise of flash. I don't care for it, but apparently it is still a work in progress. The good thing is the company has a download of the previous full version that is fully functional!(🤗❤
Excellent app, definitely a good start. I've always loved the desktop version, and I was delighted to see an app version. Customer service is fantastic, I had an issue when it first came out and they replied super fast and nice as well. Issue was solved really quick and efficient, even got a follow up email to let me know it was fixed. I would prefer if there were more filters and stuff like the website but I understand they will come with time no doubt :)
I've been a member of Ribbet since its early PC days. I was thrilled when they introduced the android version. However, I wish it had all the features the PC version has, more filters and effects. This version is just very basic. Also, adding text is frustrating... It's hard to correct placement, the pop up menu gets in the way (unless there is a way and I'm just dense?). Anyway, I'm hoping Ribbet mobile expands it's options and I can uninstall the other editing apps.
The experience was a mixed bag to be honest. It looks good, some of the features are quite good especially when it comes to colour grading. However the app crashes a lot, losing whatever editing you've done - most of the time when we are trying to save it. Add to it the nonsensical lack of the comparision feature (original vs the edited ) and you've got a disaster. The app is also slow. For some reason it needs to buffer every time a minor edit is done or you select a new editing feature.
Makes every picture great. It's great for those little things that you wish were better. Whiter teeth, removing a spot, or making a scene more beautiful. I often use it to add color back into a photo. I have a brightly colored wall and sometimes pictures that I take in front of it do not show the full color. I just add it back. I love this app.
I have loved this program since it was picnik. Has all the same features , absolutely love it. $40.00 for a year ? Heck yes , this is a perfect for the simple minded hobby photographer that needs a program that gives all the essentials plus a few boosted up bonus features that makes the app that much better. Not only does it have airbrushing features teeth whitening features and cloning ... But you can make collages aswell.
Ok, not on par with the desktop app. I wish it had the erase feature so I could precisely crop my photos the way I do on lp my laptop. I think they should allow for more touch editing in general as with smart phones many people would expect to be able to ugh dare a stylus to hand tiny, crop or color their photo the way they want. Also doesn't pull my history. Much improvement needed
I've used this app for many years, mostly to fix very old photographs. My grandmother left me 100's of family photos, all labeled, many in need of repair. This app is perfect for that. Faded or damaged pics can easily be brought back, even torn photos can be made whole again. My work is shared with family and recently to genealogy sites. I do pay for the premium version. Working on Android is okay but for serious revisions the PC is best.
I have been using Ribbet for many, many years now and was ecstatic to see it finally available on Android!! The app so far has been working really well and is a very good mirror of the website features. Only thing it is lacking is that there is no function to view previous uploads and no history of edited images as per the website, even after logging in to my own account with the premium membership. Would have been great if the app also had this functionality... Still a great app nevertheless!
I've been using Ribbet for a number of years. I absolutely love the sw. It's easy to learn to use it and there are so many editing features with new ones always being added. I don't know about the needs of professional photographers or graphic designers but for my photo editing requirements it's been fantastic!
I love ribbet! I've used this editor since it was picnik way back when and when they finally came out with the apps for tablets and phone, I was beyond excited! it's easy to use and has great options. it would be awesome if you could transfer the mascara option over though lol edit: I also still use their website for more in depth editing when i need to :)
Ribbet is most excellent for editing and transforming photos. You can also have much fun with it!! I have been using it for quite some time. There are so many features and new ones are often added. Do download this app!!
:-) This app is pretty good. Its missing some tools but it has a lot of other tools to create something nice with. This should also have a one time buy option as well as more people would buy this app from you since subscriptions are getting expensive. I do like the few effects this has( customized emboss ) I like how this has eraser and other things that help in good picture editing.
Why is it missing all the features? Even on my computer, it's missing alot of the tools I used to use on. I'm not able to dark certain spots that wanted to choose on. It does work, the software keeps freezing when editing. :/ I like the old Ribbet features more. I'm saddened everything's change & nott hat same anymore.
This used to be better a few years ago when you could use the website, the app is stupid and doesn't even have as much features asnit used to. Also I tried to cancel my membership which by the way you can't do it unless you contact them and even then it doesn't succeed, I was told my membership was cancelled just to be charged again.
This app is a valued member of my photo shopping suite because of it's clone feature - it's not perfect, bit I have yet to find any other app that does it better. What I really want to know, though, is why the app is soooo slooooooow?! Takes forever for it to access my gallery. WHY
This is totally unequal to utilizing this editing app compared to being on a PC. I did not find this to be easy or adequate for my skills or needs in artistic editing. There were many features that I did not find on this app but are available when using my PC. I don't think I will be using this on my phone and I will probably uninstall it
I installed the app because of Clone Tool, but that has limited capability. I was looking for Cloning the part that can be Flipped Upward Downward and Sideways. Furthermore, there is no Undo option withing tool, on mistake, I have to Go Back and Retake the Tool to apply, and at that time, setting all the settings again. It's annoying.
anything worth using in this app is premium so you have to pay for. the collage part sucks because they are premade templates. like the 1 big photo with smaller photos are 4 or more and you cant change it to only do 3 photos it will just leave a blank space where the 4th photo should be. this app sucks.
Why even bother with the mobile app (AND paid subscription now) if you're not even going to have the majority of the features available. Since I just switched to PicMonkey for quick marketing mobile editing, it's become clear that the mobile apps are capable of handling more features.... so why are you skimping on them for mobile users? I've been a loyal subscriber since it was Picnik so I'm sad to leave, but I was left with no choice since some of my work is done via ios.
It works well for what i do ; but i wish i could break apart photos better .layers like last color applied to first color applied.if there are 66 different colors , i would have 66 layers. O well its a great app , sorry i didnt give you 5 stars.
I've been using the website for a long time, and was delighted to see finally the app was released. However, it keeps force closing, which is preventing me from using it. Will update stars when this stops occurring.
i was really excited for there to be an app after using the website for years and eventually getting premium. i feel it's a little odd and messed up that you don't get premium on the app as well but it is what it is i suppose. other than that, it works as well as i could have hoped!
This is the only photo editing app on both desktop and IOS that I have ever considered paying for and I love it. I can easily edit any images within seconds. 5 stars from me.
Won't sync \ith Google photos. If I'm going to pay any kind of money for a program it has to work with what I'm working with and I only use photos so bummer for me otherwise I seem cool if you use drive it could be the app for you.
To do nearly any editing you have to pay even though you can do the same editing on the desktop version for free. Or at least it was free the last time I used it...
Idk, i just kinda had trouble using it is all. It's not a bad app, but I just felt oblivious to the tools and mechanics. I was hoping to photoshop my pfp, and when I used photofox, I would mainly used the eraser tool but to the best of my knowledge, there is no eraser tool.
This has got to be the absolute worst photo editing website/app in my lifetime. I use the pro editor and then when I save and go back to the original ribbet, it doesnt save? What an absolute waste of time and effort to even build something so wasteful.
best app overall to manage and design pictures and images and can make the smallest image on Google bigger than most apps can the Ribbet app if you're looking for decorating pictures in your gallery or if you're wanting to take a picture of something for all but know that you can take the picture but can't see what it is Ribbet can help you
I literally just need to be able to do the bare minimum of cropping an image to a specific aspect ratio. You would think any photo editing app with more than 3 collective brain cells behind the scenes would just give you the option to manually enter the width and height. I guess you would be wrong.
