This app has gone from ok to just plain bad. Since adding ads a number of functions don't seem to work, example function for paging only works for pages 1-8. The ad at the top limits movement of the page, etc.

The only options to share articles are Bluetooth and "nearby," which I presume is NFC. Also, ads ads ads. I don't entirely begrudge the banner ads on articles. I get it that newspapers have always relied on adspace for revenue. But the splash screen ads and, worse, auto-playing videos are a step too far. I'm a subscriber, I shouldn't have to wait for a full-screen ad to load every time I open the app. And no one should be subjected to auto-playing videos.

Bad app, bad website. Called customer service after experiencing technical problems on website and in app. The person I spoke to intially told me the website was fine, argued with me over what I was trying to do (sign up for newsletter which wasn't working), then after further belittling me and what I was trying to do finally looked and found there was already a ticket open for just my issue.

Doesn't give full newspaper experience or option to upgrade to such. Its is a fairly clean app so that is good. If you want to be able to read and share comments, then not so much.

I can't actually read articles in this app. Tapping through loads a screen which displays a few ads on top and empty white space below. Waiting 30s and nothing shows up. Bad.

Trying to open individual articles sends one to advertising where you can't close it or escape. Impossible to read articles. This is PAID subscription which is now worthless.

I would like to read in-depth news articles, but I've read the reviews on your app on Google Play. It looks like using your app would not be an easy read. Once you have worked the bugs out on this new format, I'll be interested in subscribing. Thank you.

New format is awful. For subscriber plus articles, after putting in my password, only the artcle pictures appear but not the article. Bring back the old app!

I liked it better old way, now its just a slap in face with no options. I just liked sports part, local and state, now i cant see that, nor have that option

Too many ads. Even ads with subscription. Definitely do NOT recommend. Better to use a browser.

Not stable can't change pages

Awful update! Have to scroll thru all items even if you only want to look at, say, local news. Will probably uninstall.

This is the most frustrating app for a subscriber desiring to read the paper formatted like the print edition!

This app takes so loooong.....to....opennnn. Even one of the sample images above is that of the app taking foreverrrr.... to....opennnnnn.

Inciteful, informative and the paper goes after the behind the scenes stories.

Too many push notifications and for such a big paper the formatting of this app stinks.

Like Carol, I'll be back when it's better.

A little slow at times but all in all a good news app. Just wish they would pull down yesterday's stories from the notification page

Works well overall. The process of signing into your account on the app isn't intuitive, though, as there is no obvious way to sign in the first time.

I like everything about it, except that the same ad blocks the screen when it opens.

Please consider removing ads for people who have paid for a subscription. Also please consider allowing people to log in and stay logged in.

I have an E-edition subscription. This app is very bad.

Basic features only, no subscriber benefit
