After the update, app not working. Message states there is a bug that needs to be fixed by developer

It's great being able to print from my phone. However, the app is a bit opaque at times. It also wants an absurd number of permissions it clearly doesn't need. The notifications reminding you that you haven't turned on certain permissions are obnoxious. App still works even if you don't turn said permissions on, so someone needs to fix this.

Most folks who complain about the app probably have not stopped to experiment with it. I have found that I can print almost anything by simply using the share function on my phone. Once I share the document with the Ricoh app it's smooth sailing. My only problem with the app is the lack of documentation showing how it actually works.

App works. Has lots of features. But does not support selecting paper types which is a real pain. Jobs get stopped at machines and have to be manually pushed thru and if the job was sent to do multiple copies,it will only print one as a result of being stopped at the machine. Please add this feature, should be super simple to do so.

Horrible way to have to print. I am a certified printer technician for Ricoh as well as other major brands. I can say without a doubt that this app is garbage compared to the simple print services offered by other manufacturers. Unfortunately however there is no other option when wanting to print to a Ricoh. Hey Ricoh, how about you just make a simple print service plugin like a lot of your competitors.

Apps clash. Uninstalled and re-installed. Same problem.

App crashing and not opening after recent update

I'm stood next to a Ricoh MFD and the app is not interested. The app is overly fussy - wants Word docs converted to PDFs, nags you for permissions for everything on your phone, can't change paper size, etc. I have apps that seemlessly fling movies to my TV, but sending a document to their own printer seems to be too much of a challenge for this Ricoh app.

Nice app. I had been using it a while. I use it often at home to print to my network printer from my phone rather than boot my laptop. I did just find a useful tip in one of the other comments I was recently trying to print from a PDF that was on SD card and my normal procedure would not get me to the file. Per the tip, I navigated to the SD card, long pressed the file, then chose Share, and shared it with the Ricoh app. This then allowed me to select Print.

Always got problem, cannot link to printer so trouble

Printer program doesnt show up when in outlook or other programs. It should appear in the share section so you can print from any phone app but doesnt show. You have to add email settings again which did not work. The HP print app is ideal. Maybe you guys should model that app?

Used to allow me to print files in dropbox or google drive from my phone. Doesnt work anymore, and I think its due to the update in May as I havent changed any settings. Just keep asking me to check printer settings. Really frustrating!!!

Works fine for printing from Google drive, but continuously pops up complaining that it doesn't have all permissions allowed. It doesn't need access to my contacts or camera, so if it gets updated to stop asking it would be 5 stars.

I've a problem scanning documents to my android phone, my printer is sp c252sf and it is connected wirelessly to the network. I was able to print from the phone but didn't succeed scanning.

The worse printer app I have tried, just try to print a simple photo, but wasted 20 minutes to setting, end up still can not print. Can just simplify your app? Just simply let print, just print! No other.

Extremely frustrating experience, I mainly use mobile printing. Once it falls to connect all hope it's lost and it plainly refuses to connect. Tried through router and wifi direct.

SG 3110SFNw Can't print on custom paper sizes. Can't set it to print maximum printable area. It automatically scales the print to fit the limited selection of paper sizes (can't stop it doing that) so it messes up my prints. Disappointing.

it takes me a while everytime to figure it out but works well when i can get it going. one problem is that it didn't land a launch icon on my phone. have to through google play to launch the app everytime.

Quite an awaful app to put it mildly . How do they make such great printers but apauling printer app. It will not find my Rioch printer yet windows 10 can . Yet on my phone this app has no simple way to ATO discover my Rioch printer.

Dreadful... Doesn't work with sp400dn from Apple or Android. Finds the printer but the instructions to print from a web page for example are fiction... Why don't you have a proper Android print service like hp and Epson provide???

Please add this App to the printer services of Android so that it can be directly used as an option in the printers list. For instance it can be directly chosen to print an email in a 3rd party App etc.

I was able to print wirelessly from my phone and tablet but no option for printing certain pages from a document or pdf

Totally lacks detection tools and info. I can't even get past the first steps to printing. The manual that came with the printer is of not much help either.
