I really like it but there is hardly any words and i would like to be able to count past 10. I'm also not sure when some of the signs say "northern" and "southern" where exactly they relate to. When i click the "about" button or come across the "instructions" the page is blank.
Great idea but incomplete. Not enough words. Should have all signs. Even if it costs money yearly to have i would get it but this FREE app is more for beginners and a quick help for really really really basic conversation if any. Was so happy i found this and then i opened the app and was like WHAT? Not really useful for advanced students. Should come up with same idea but a complete version and charge for it.
Great idea, but clumsy and inconsistent UI doesn't make for an engaging experience. Auslan is frustratingly more complicated to learn than ASL yet perversely there are much fewer tools to help beginners get aboard.
Would like to be able to save a favourites list to show others the signs we are working on. Happy to pay for an app with this functionality, but can't see if this functionality is available on the paid version
Doesn't really help you learn all that well. It should teach you what words to learn first, but it doesn't. Instead, you're forced to wonder around thinking about what signs to learn. It simply doesn't guide you well. I wanted to learn sign language, but not like this. Hard to navigate.
Seems to need an update ... not even Hello that's pretty basic. But "iPod" is in there?! 🤣🤨 The filmed gestures are great but need slow or replay option. The app needs a revamp
painful to navigate, missing key signs, basically interface needs to be cleaned up. learning groups would allow users to create lessons for themselves. use the sounds for the words as those who can hear understand that you do not have to speak slower for the hearing impaired to understand. I am from the US and now live in Australia. my experience in signing is from knowing exact English and ASL. a section with international signs might also be helpful.
Great app but would also be better if it had just simple words, or longer, harder words. Some of these words I wouldn't even use most of the time. Also, it'd be great if it were easier to navigate
I had been using this app with my 16 month old and it has been so helpful. Since the update, none of the videos will play. Please fix this..i am a little lost without it
Just updated app .. it has been wonderful I have used at school and at home to teach some to my grand child... now the videos wont play... a bit disappointed. Is the only way to get it paying $20? I dont want to pay if I cant get videos to play. Thanks
It more helpful for my career and to develop my knowledge of the sign language. It's so interesting
Nothing works since update!! Used to be so good for teaching my 2 yr old class, please fix 😭
Ok If you want to learn a limited amount of words. Very easy to use.
Not working just downloaded and nothing is showing up when going into any categories
thank you for fixing this app and for informing me of.the progress and the process.... excelent costemer service.
What possessed you to create an Auslan tutoring app that doesn't even tell you how to sign "hello," "goodbye," "yes," or "no?" Are you joking?
A great app for beginners to start learning Auslan 💗
Clear gestures, great learning tool
Paid $20 but I can't play any of the videos!
Love it It's exactly what I need to help me learn auslan. ❤️❤️
Was good since update does not work
Is birthday wrong on here? Because I know birthday is done a different way
Awesome just what i need
Great source of info
No updates since 2015. What's going on?
Could be user friendlier
Fantastic and free app for anyone wishing to learn Auslan. Learning Auslan has helped me to connect and communicate more effectively with my deaf family members. I have found it to be focused around communicating with infants and children. But, that is only a minor gripe, it's so easy to use and witnessing the improvement in my skills has been proof of the pudding. I really love this app!
Get the basics fit free, though very basic. The paid app is a bit of a rip off given that it doesn't have much more than this.
Great App!! BUT so hard to navigate! a fast forward option so you can keep looking through the whole list would make it so easy rather then going back out each time. And possibly a save option for when you need a quick reminder/something you want to learn next. There is also a lot of VERY basic words or queations missing. And I'm unsure about the whole southern/northern thing on some words.
