this app used to be pretty good, and now its absolutely awful. it'll show you that theres a bus nearby, what the time is that it'll arrive, and then the bus either doesnt show up or the app states that it's already left. its infuriating and unreliable
This is a horrible app. It's not "real time"; it just shows you the time the bus is supposed to be there. The schedules are displayed in the most awkward and unhelpful way possible. Ride On should be embarrassed to have this app associated with them in any way.
it is wildly inaccurate. twice in a row it has told me a bus was a few minutes away when it appears the bus already left. It is slow to load for an app about giving timely info. I regret depending on it.
1 star is way too generous. It's not actually real time Buses often come earlier than listed. Far too many times the expected time comes and goes with no bus, just the listing of the next bus. This is completely worthless.
Unreliable and inaccurate. It says the next bus wont arrive for 1 hour and 26 minutes even as I see the bus approaching up the street. Honestly reading tea leaves, consulting a quija board or simply guessing when the next bus will be is more accurate than this official app.
Terrible app from an equally awful sanctuary county!! Inaccurate times and takes foReVEr to launch itself! Why isn't there an option for users to bookmark frequently used buses/stops??? I wish I could give this this ZERO STARS IT'S SO HORRIBLE!! Can't wait leave this s***hole and DELETE IT from my phone!!
I would of rated a 4 star but for some reason, the app stopped working and kept saying I needed to check my internet. I tried with both wifi and data. This app is broken.
This app is nice but the arrival times in my experience are always wrong, I just use Google Maps and tend to get a more accurate arrival.
This is useful at times,but It doesn't give me actual realtime.I have been late to work,it doesn't help if buses decide to show up early than their giving time.I missed my bus 26 min ago and said that it was going to take 3 min to arrive.But It came earlier,the app didn't tell me that part of the information, I was going to wait 34 min for the next one,but even this bus showed up 8 min earlier than its scheduled time.Let's fix the problem please! Blaming bus drivers is not an excuse to be late!
This app is ok, when its accurate. App says 12 to Takoma "Real Time" 1 minute bus that comes apparently not in service. Great, it's not like I actually have to be somewhere.
Seems okay if all you really need to know is roughly what times busses are allegedly scheduled. Even when the app claims "realtime" it runs down to zero and scrolls off with no bus ever having come.
Needs to be accurate on time and GPS doesn't work on reliability of the buses
Real time estimates are a work of fiction and real time plotting of bus icons on maps are historic.

I would say about 65% accurate. Kind of pitiful.
Update: Realtime is working again but is very unreliable. At my stop, the Realtime arrival is off by as much as ten minutes, so it's only marginally more useful than showing up randomly at the stop and waiting for whatever bus comes. Has become completely worthless without realtime. It has consistently given me false information resulting in a lot of wasted time. So frustrating.
App is broken (again), but it doesn't seem like anyone cares. When you rely on a bus that only comes every 30 minutes, it would be really nice if the the realtime app actually gave the - ya know - real time. If it's not working properly, a pop-up message explaining such would go along way and prevent relying on completely false information. This may as well be a PDF of the schedule at this point
Don't bother downloading this app. I would give it negative stars if I could. Certain stops on route 54 were cancelled because of the pandemic. I found that out the hard way, but I accept the need. However, the app still says the buses are coming and all is normal. The buses, of course, never came. I think all they are doing is just plugging in the regular scheduled times and pretending that they are actually using GPS trackers.
