App is so-so. The tracker is great to find out where your bus is, since they are never on time, unfortunately, the GPS on the buses don't work 30% to 40% of the time, so it's still a guessing game if the bus will show up. The tracker also doesn't show buses that are on long term detours (they disappear). So, as the word on the street goes, 'Ya gotta be Dumb to ride Smart.'
For the most part it works fine, but it frequently has a tendency to be stuck loading when I'm trying to pick the route and the stops and all that. It's getting rather irritating.
App doesnt always work. It doesnt show all buses on routes and tracker only works about 30% of the time. Alot of app crashing down and being useless. Ive missed alot of buses because of the app
Drivers won't show up and they won't have other drivers on site waiting to run out and fill that spot. No, they leave that spot empty for entire shift.. Don't try calling either because they'll just give you a reference number and never call you back. Huge waste of your time on top of No transportation that are taxes already paid for. Also a monthly bus pass that cost around $80 So I've already paid for a whole month of service twice That sometimes don't show
Was initially convienient, now might as well be useless. Bus tracker never works anymore (despite never updating since I installed it??), and that's really all I used it for. Essentially junk.
I have had smart bus app since july of 2019 never had a problem. Today i went to use it. And it will not show routes or times of arrival. I suggest you update the smart bus app. I use this to go to work.
Smart is usually on point. Tho the Detroit metro area travel gets clouded the blacker the area gets. They are a step above DDOT for now tho because Smart serves the urban area as well as the suburbs amongst the 4 corners of the Metropolitan of over 4million mostly born and raised residents, unlike other larger populus like Miami or Atlanta or Charlotte where most residents are new to the area or even the state...
this app is garbage. have much more success with texting to 41411, but trying to find stop #s through the app is basically impossible. Had the app estimate the FAST bus as coming by soon, but never did.
App is trash. Times are different on the website itself and the times in the app are WRONG. Just use the website. Forget the app. (Yes smart bus I was looking at the correct times I'm not stupid they're all different. Get off the dope and get it together. Making ppl late for work) UPDATE YOUR WEBSITE IS TRASH TOO HIRE ME AND ILL FIX IT CUZ IT SEEMS LIKE NO ONE ELSE CAN OR YOU GUYS DOWN AT TARD BUS DONT CARE AND THAT REALLY SHOWS.
-Buses do not following the route specified in the app -There is no way telling if the bus is gonna stop, and it doesn't even if you wave your hand. The driver ignores you - A bus will sometimes stop at a bus stop, and next bus if the same number won't and takes a different route. How would I know, which one stops??
I've had some issues but their running and I get there eventually. I've had a lot of problems with the app not working but they are running.
I love the bus. You'll meet genuine people. Sometimes it gets frustrating is the bus shows up late in the weather is a little unpleasant. But being around the public in these days and times is what people need. I save a lot of money riding on the bus so to me the bus is a blessing.😘
This app is ok, but the Bus Service is TERRIBLE ! You never know IF or WHEN your Bus will show up. This app is slow in updating sometimes, or is inaccurate
So convient. Im happy I was able to use. The tracker would have to be my favorite. I highly recommend if your a bus rider. It has everything you need
Love the bus app the bus trackers new effecientcy. The new 160 route going to the hunbub marsh the all the way to the Dearborn transit was a phenomenal route alterations and it rocks. Also the bus riding all the way through covid even shortened routes were Lifesavers and no doubt made smart bus front line essential workers. Thank you.
When you're not seeing if I wanted the three trillion signs is that this very helpful although the bus tracker is not been very efficient for about as long as I've used it most of the time is down anyways
The first time I go to use the app, I click on a schedule and it crashes. Every time. I uninstalled it and reinstalled it - same thing. How is that helpful?
Half the time the app is down and won't load, the actual website crashes alot too. It's not that reliable
Awesome, when it actually works. Currently half the routes won't pull up. Something is currently broken with this app.
The app is fine if the busses were actually on time but the past 2 years I have been taking it if there was a different bus I would trust it more than smartbus
Family rides the 210/200 line. This app. IS NOT TOTALLY HELPFULL . It only shows the 200 BUS. NOT the 210. So that defeats the purpose of this app. WHY in the past did the 210 Show up? Not now HUMM?
This app generally works, but every time I try to log in it crashes so you don't get those benefits.
I love this app. It's my lifeline to travel the city. Thank you.
the app isn't working. You will have to go the bus stop an wait if it shows up.
App used to work great. Now, the app works until you log-in. Once I'm logged in, the app continually crashes, every time I try to open it. Please, fix this bug.
