Buy My Fare – Use your valid Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover card to instantly purchase and use Single Ride and Multi-Ride (Day, Three-Day, and 31-Day passes) fares good for travel on all RideKC routes throughout the region. Reduced fares require ID when boarding. How it works:
1. Select a rider type (Standard or Reduced).
2. Select a fare type and “Add To Cart”.
3. Select “Checkout” when complete (or add more fares).
4. Select Payment Method (or enter a new one).
5. Activate your fare right before you board (only one activation is required for Multi-Ride passes).
6. Show your active fare to the driver.

My Fares – Access all New, Active, and Expired fares. Activate each fare once before you board. Store multiple fares for future use. Use up to 10 fares at once for a group.

Where’s My Ride? – Track your ride on most RideKC routes throughout the region. Tracking is available initially for all Missouri-side bus and streetcar routes and some KCK routes (#101, #107). More routes will be added as vehicles and systems are upgraded.

Plan My Trip – Plan your trip on all RideKC routes throughout the region. Enter a street address, route name, stop name, or place name for your origin and destination.
Fares are identical to paying cash or buying paper passes online. All existing fare rules apply. Refunds are not provided. Employer and student pass programs are not currently supported. Existing paper passes cannot be transferred into the mobile app.

It's convenient when it works. However, there are several areas for improvement. For starters, on the home screen, the banner at the top cycles through all purchases fares and its easy to accidentally activate a new one whilst a other is still active and valid. Also, an option to varify fares by using the fingerprint sensor or some other means would be preferable to the awkward way one has to hold the phone to show the driver as well as seeing it for yourself as you tap the screen.

I understand the RideKC bus cant take me to a stop that is outside your city limits but it would be easier if your app would automatically "Plan My Route" to drop me off as close as possible to my destiination. Also it would be easier when using "Where's My Ride" if the app only showed the time to my stop, when to exit the bus and make it in big blue or red colors. showing little busses on the map is a cluster mess of useless information.

The app is not the most convenient app to use. It helps me find bus stops but even then it doesn't list all of them. Within the past couple of months the buses stopped appearing on the maps so I have no idea when it's coming. What would be helpful is being able to map out everything from your location and to be able to track the buses.

The app was working fine until today!! I walked 10 minutes to the bus stop in this heat for the app to not work. It will load then when I click buy fare. The it states error try back in a few minutes. I had no cash on me so I missed work for the day. This has been going on since 11am and is still going on. I uninstalled the app and reinstalled it STILL NOTHING!!!1

This app is so damn broken. It worked fine for the first few months it was around bur for the last 2 to 3 months it wont show me the direction of the bus (i.e. northbound, southbound, etc.) So i have to guess which direction the bus is going. As of today this app does not even show the route i want to look at and when i went to buy my fare rather than process it and then send me back to the home screen so i know my transaction is complete it stays on the purchase screen making me think I didnt buy it.

complaints: --takes a while to load each time you open. --default center is always kc when viewing a route so you have to zoom out sometimes to find your route. --can't use on more than 1 device?? I understand that for the bus pass portion, but you cant even view where buses are without logging in, and you can only log in in on 1 device. pretty dumb. --no etas or updates for buses or stops. --can't buy 510 passes through app.

This by far the worst transportation app available. Everytime I try to "plan my trip" it never has any available routes no matter where im trying to go. The forgot password hlp is terrible I don't understand why they would send the reset pin to your phone instead of email. Hint phones get lost and stolen there should always be an alternative (email) fire who made this app for y'all own sake

I used to love this app, until I switched phones, I love how it says in the update its so easy to switch over your account to the new phone but what they failed to mention is, the fact you only get 3 tries and if your code doesnt come through you are basically screwed...I cant log into my account now..until I am able to get into my account, I wont recommend this to anyone!.

it's ok at first . try to log back in and it will act as if your account doesn't exist. Typed my number correctly for two and a half hours just now thinking I could have made a mistake. but alas it won't send through a verification text message. the app is trash I advise using it once then deleting immediately.

Would be better if you could get route information without having to login first. Transit agencies in other parts of the country have features like trip planning and what's the nearest stop without requiring a login first. Not sure why the RideKC app has this behind a login screen.

I constantly have issues with purchasing bus passes. Its constantly stopping and kicking me out. I even had it stop in the middle of me activating a bus pass and after reopening the app the pass was no longer there as if I didn't even purchase it. This is not at all convenient and very frustrating

This app is basic. Just an easier way to pay which is convenient. Needs to have easier access to tell the time of bus on icon of stop. Doesn't offer routes by number or streets. 'Transit' app is more hekpful& convenient. i only use this app for fares. Please upgrade your app.

This app is ok it is only good for buying your bus fare. As far planning a trip and getting accurate information not so much. Sometimes it does not want to pull up address that you type in the address box.

Absolute garbage, doesn't show all routes and won't even show you simple routes without typing in the exact address of the stops, if you only have an address nearby then you are out of luck, whoever they paid to make this app should be fired

This app is only useful to buy fares. The mapping and route planning and "where's my bus" have never worked for me. Three different phones since 2017 to use this app and it only gets worse.

This damn app is garbage... It logs you out when you already paid...I froze the other day I bought my ticket though the app... It disappeared....I was stuck early in the morning had to walk thirty bucks in the cold.... Can't switch to different phones... This app is just trash and needs to be revamped

Laat weekend my phone was not able to allow me to access my pass to pay my fare. I ask the driver if they were having problems with rhe web site and she informed me that there was no problems. That evening when I tried to pull my pass up on my phone it still would not allow me to. I emailed the bus company the next following morning alerting rhem that rhe aite might be down to see if they could get it fixed. I had informed the person that I had updated my services to see if that was the problem,
