not very sensitive, display seems to linger towards center regardless of angle in either flat or sideways mode... prolly not the app's fault... sorta doubt the accelerometers used in most phones are up to the task tbh. [Note: tried it when putting up some shelves. Ended up hanging a bolt from a nail with some thread and measuring from that which worked much better. With app was obviously, very visibly not straight]
Very jittery, no ability to dampen, line in camera won't hold still. Landscape view with camera is nearly impossible to use unless you are holding the phone completely level from both side to side AND horizonal facing. Nearly level side to side but wit a slight downward tilt I'm getting flip flops between 80% left leaning line and 80% right leaning. Level should ALWAYS show true plumb level 0% line no matter what the orientation of the phone. I shouldn't have to stoop down to get a level line.
Not perfect, BUT if you take time to calibrate it with a good quality level, then this is pretty good. Wanted this to level tables etc on campsites .
Best one I found so far. No ads, no pop ups. This app has has a calibration function, is graphically pleasing easy to read with two choices a line or a bubble. Its Not junk like all the other ones I've tried and uninstalled in disgust
Okay if you're using it strictly for comparisons, but does not include a true calibration feature. Instead, the 'calibration' is based on whatever pseudo-level surface you have available. Inadequate for any real usefulness. It's a shame it bears the Ridgid name.
Works OK in Portrait mode on Note 8, but struggles to find level point in landscape mode (not sure if it's the phone or the app at fault). No ads so far, other than the big RIGID brand word. A useful tool to have for when I don't have a real level handy. 👍
there is a glitch when measuring angles around 90 degrees, no measuramemt from +82 degrees to -82 degrees (no such issue with othe apps so it's not a device problem) . Also I cannot find a calibration reset function to restore factory setting
One of the most accurate android leveling aps on the market. Can be calibrated next to ,any stright 4' level, has audible same principal as a laser transit, so theirs no need to look at the screen in akward situations.it's accuracy is within a sixteenth of inch on a 50' run 8" concrete wall
Nice design but inacurate level. Anything that's a few degrees from level is reported as level. I like that it's a small app with no ads but it simply doesn't perform it's function.
Like all these levels this one needs to be calibrated. It says to place the device on a level surface. Well, if my surface was level, I wouldn't need this tool. I need the tool to see if it is level but if it's already level I don't need it but I don't know if it's level so I need it to tell if it's level but... Chicken and egg forever.
Keeps changing or auto-selecting the type of leveling tool instead of what I want to use EG; I want the bubble level it switches to the "target type" or flat bar type...annoying
I've tried a bunch of level apps and this is the only one I have kept. No ads and every necessary function. Thank you Ridgid!
No ads, works quickly and accurately. Extremely intuitive (swaps to 2d level if you lay it flat) and performs how all other level apps should imho.
In landscape on phone edge read 0 degrees. Switch to portrait on same edge/ surface, modulated in the 80's. Should have been a solid 90, uninstalled
Needed a level, not a bubble style to install 3 things on my walls. Looked at about 10 of them. Used this one because of the digital number for level off level status
Works great. Easy to calibrate on a known level surface. I wish it had a slope setting for roof pitch.
Enjoyed it a lot thanks The bubble hangs up sometimes after calibration of the device. Let me know what is so either you or I can fix the problem. Thanks again.

It doesn't work. Calibrated it at level and unlevel Mark's and the bubble never moved. AT ALL! Uninstalled!
Great app works well once calibrated. No adds or pop-ups that in itself makes it good.

Was in a pinch so downloaded app based on the name only and will never do that again. RIGID is just a name I expect more from than this Harbor Freight app.

I'm a finish carpenter and this app is making my jobs easier, I'm not using my expensive digital level anymore.
This app is okay but it needs more functionality. It won't show a degree readout when the phone is on its back like it does when it is on its side. You only get a centering bubble level.
