This app is awesome as far as pitch shifting goes and being able to make play lists. On the bad side, it automatically goes to the next song. Add an option to stop the song after its played, automatically go to the next song, or song repeat, and you have an app that is complete gold. Edit: Why would you make it where you have to swipe left on the pitch control page? I'm not pitch correcting every song. Why not just make a single button on the play control page like every other music player ever developed? It's counter intuitive and clumsy at best.
Great App to change the scale of any song to suit your comfortable scale. Although it might sound funny at times but a great app for a relaxed singing. It can also reduce the tempo of a song which can be useful for finding hard parts of the songs with a significant compromise in quality if less than 50% of the tempo, which is acceptable. Kudos to the developers.
Love this app. That being said, there are a few things I'd like to address about this app. I find it very difficult when it been away from it for a while to remember how to switch from marking mode to a /b mode. There should be clear instructions on their website. The simple operations of using the app are primarily shown on the YouTube video that flies by at such a clip that I'm not able to absorb. It could be a simple page on the site that points to all the different parameters. Works great!
Everyone should be using a metronome to practice. It is one of the most effective methods. but let's be honest. Most people never get themselves to use it. This is the next best thing. I use it all the time and encourage my students to use it if they're not using the metronome. Isolate the hardest sections in the music and loop them at a slow speed. Play the passage perfectly five time in a row, then speed it up 5% and repeat. It's a simple but almost bulletproof method for progress.
I've spent long periods of time creating my set lists and save"adjusted" songs. Some time later...after 8 - 12 hours approximately, songs are marked with red dot and white "x" over it saying that THESE songs are missing. I've gone through this process for 4 times now...and the sets do have a huge bulk in songs. Secondly, I can't open my "metadata"-saved files. Your App seems to be "relying" on songs already in my device before hand. Please answer and do FIX THE BUGS...or give Cash back.
I was looking for a pitch shifting player on Android for ages. And today I just randomly stumbled upon this app. Pitch shift in this app is enhanced by a custom engine to address audio artifacts. And the result sounds great. Finally I can play over any song without retuning my guitar. Media controls are easy and intuitive. There are no ads! Pro features are optional but I'll consider buying them just to support the developer. Also love the greenish theme throughout the app, nice touch
Overall, this is a very good app. But we're it is lacking is in it's ability to communicate with other apps....for instance, your car, your smart watch. It plays but if you try to change songs you are out of luck. As an instructor this is an issue...no one wants to have to run to there phone in the middle of class to change songs, that's one of the reasons you buy a smart watch..The other big issue is you have to add one song at a time...it will not populate playlist
It's great for setting up set lists to practice too. The ability to slow down songs and loop parts is great when trying to learn complicated parts. I would have given it 5 stars of it interfaced with blue tooth page turn. It would also be nice to be able to organize play lists on a computer then import them into riff.
5-15-22. Was hopeful this was a real music editor, but speed & pitch options I chose (which were the only editor choices) did not work for my phone & my music. The app is too basic and not what I was looking for. I only downloaded it because of a few reviews that the pitch & speed editor worked for other users.
I love this app. It allows me to take a section of a song and change the key, change the speed, and loop that section to learn any song well before performing in public. I've not encountered any issues. It's a simple app that aids anyone in learning a song when playing vocals or instrumentation. Thanks Riff Studio!
Works great for practicing a part of the song in slow and loop it to build up playing speed. Visually I would like to be able increase the size of the soundwave visual more and control colours of diffrent sections bookmarked. Also there should be a buy all go pro option to get everything. (In google store full pro option over in app purchase would be better.) If that included a discount for full pro over getting the pro extras seperate, that would be an incentive bonus for doing so.
I play as a one man band and I tune a whole step down from A440 to help my limited vocals. This app exceeded my expectations! I just purchased the multiple setlist option. I would like to suggest a helpful feature: display the total run time for set lists. I like to build 45-50 minute lists to practice with and be able to juggle songs around to get the right flow for performance.
Wow! Very innovative and intuitive feature set for practicing/transcribing music. Processing is smooth and audio quality is great. I love the flexibility of setting many bookmarks within a song and being able to loop between any pair in only an easy waveform slide and two quick taps. I've tested maybe 10 of these music speed/pitch apps and this is the best and most feature-rich
I. Love. This. App. As a worship leader who doesn't (yet) play a musical instrument, it can be difficult to figure out the right key for vocalists or to practice a difficult song slowly at first to learn it and then work up to full speed. This app has been incredibly helpful and useful in solving both issues. I use it all the time! It's so simple it's ridiculous. Love love love!
This app is fantastic, really useful when you are trying to learn a hard part of a song, however, i would suggest that you guys add a way to add multiple songs to a setlist at once, it's the only issue i've encountered, it can take way too much time to add a whole bunch of songs if you do it one by one
Very useful. I use it for Worship team personal prep. Never know for sure what key a song be in from week to week, so the pitch adjustment is invaluable. It's for sure one of the "must have" apps that always gets installed whenever I transition to a new device.
Great app. Perfect for practicing. You can mark up songs and quickly skip to the previous/next marker, create loops of specific parts of a song, slow down songs, transpose them etc. You can create multiple playlists to help organise your songs eg I have one separate playlists for piano and bass.
In my book I think this app is pretty amazing. I think it is helping me to be a better musician. I use it a lot during my practice. When I'm trying to learn a new cover song there are just some riffs that I just need to hear over and over and over again and this app has really helped me to do that. I like the fact that it keeps the integrity of the tones fairly well even as you slow the music down or speed it up.
Developer...any way you can have a large display of the album art show when in the main player mode? Otherwise, well designed app. I'm a musician and so I "collect" and frequently use these type of apps. Most do not allow for playback while your screen is off, but this one does : ) Easy to change keys/pitch and change the tempo. Also like that it saves all the settings of the song for the next time you open and use the app. Other similar apps I have don't do that... so that's a real plus!πΈππ
