RIFT Auth
The RIFT Mobile Authenticator is an optional application that provides an additional layer of authentication for your Trion account and helps prevent unauthorized account usage. Every time you launch RIFT, you will use the RIFT Mobile Authenticator to generate a unique serial code to enter into the login screen in addition to your password.
Using the RIFT Mobile Authenticator is easy:
* Load the app onto your mobile device
* Follow the in-app directions to connect the app to your Trion Account
* Sign in to RIFT with a more secure account
In addition to enhanced security, linking the RIFT Mobile Authenticator to your account will earn you the in-game title “The Ironclad.”
NOTE: Please contact Trion Customer Service before removing or reinstalling the RIFT Mobile Authenticator. The Mobile Authenticator must be removed from your account at the account level. If you uninstall or reinstall the Mobile Authenticator before contacting Customer Service, the Authenticator will still be enabled for your RIFT account, and you will not be able to log in to the game.

Doesn't work. Denied the app from making phone calls (it's an authenticator app, why does it need that permission?), only the "help" button does something, and it's not useful. The "setup" button doesn't work. Trion/Glyph/Rift, can you all just use Authy? I don't see the point of having a be-all-end-all authenticator and then have to download another authenticator just for Rift. Like, why? And it doesn't even work! I'd give it negative stars if I could.
I'm literally trying to spend money on this game that I have a fair amount of disrespect for, but in order to do so I need to use this app as an authenticator. If I don't allow the app call permissions, it won't do ANYTHING apart from give a generic message when you click the help button. So looks like they gatekept me from spending money on their game .
Allowed phone calls, generated a code, added it to my account successfully. Next login I was asked for a code. Tried three. All were invalid. Had to remove from my account again in order to access.
This app doesn't work, First, this app asked if I could let this app make and manage phone calls, second, I tapped setup and it doesn't work, get this app off of the play store, it is literal garbage.

What a complete waste of time fighting to play a game and running into one trap and snake pit after another from what are obviously disreputable people! You're not getting access to make calls on my phone! Period. Apparently, not providing this access disables the app? Other authentication apps don't need personal permissions. I'd rather play a more respectable game that is respectful of its users and doesn't play their own games with their potential new customers! Get a life!
This app dosen't work on a Samsung Galaxy S10. I click setup and nothing happens. Update Had to delete it and reinstall. WHY? A fresh install should work the first time.
The app requires access to manage your phone calls. It's an authenticator app and that shouldn't be necessary. It doesn't let you proceed without it. Uninstalled 👎
Works well for authentication but why in the world does it need to be able to make calls from my phone? If I deny it full access to make calls, the program doesn't work.
wow what a fun ride in frustration. downloaded the app on my new phone. please register for a new account. put in my e-mail and password. sorry that e-mail is already taken. the phone is like hours old. i put in a back up e-mail and password. sorry the e-mail does not match the password. what a fun game!
A program that has nothing to do with phone calls demanding access to them for no reason...yeah, I doubt your purpose is to "protect" my game as much as it is to exploit my information. No.
Clicking the setup does nothing. Esentially a useless app. Wanted to give rift another go but maybe you just saved me time. Thanks
Does nothing if you deny its access to phone. Why does an app even needs to access to phone where it generates only an authentication code with the app itself? Puzzle.

Unless they can give a Very good reason for it, an authenticator should never need access to phone calls.

What a useless POS! I factory reset my phone, reinstalled this app and it won't accept my security answers even though they are correct. If they are entered wrong it will say incorrect but when it IS the correct answers it just goes back to the screen to enter email and password again. WHAT A JOKE! Had to go to the site, request to remove authenticator and set it up as new and yep as I knew, my security answers were 100% correct. Incompetent morons!
