Explanation of Permission Requests:
• Access Network State: Determine if your device has a data connection
• Internet: Required to access real-time status information and displaying ads
• Write External Storage: Needed for backup of settings and storage of map tiles
• Wake Lock: Used by the travel alarms to turn the screen on when an alarm starts
• Vibrate: Used by the travel alarms
• Read Phone State: Used to verify upgrades against the device ID (the device ID is not logged or sent anywhere, but is used to generate a one-way hash for license keys)
• Location: only used when you request the closest station

Worked great for years, now crashes immediately after getting a route time. Has been crashing for over a month. Unusable.
This app (paid version) was amazing until the most recent update. Now it crashes every time I load up a favorite. 5 stars before this update.
App used to be good but now is awful. As soon as I enter a trip manually or from my favorites the app immediately crashes on my Galaxy s9.

Shuts down when I look at my favorites, 75% of the time. If your app shuts down 75% of the time you need to go back to your code and figure out why it's so unstable.
Simple interface, no whistles and bells. Easy to use, accurate, no crashes or connection issues. Been using for over a year now with all the buy in plugins on a Galaxy Note 2. LOVE IT!
This app keeps shutting down after opening. Happening now for several weeks. Its now unreliable. That's a shame, was a pretty good app.
This app crashes far too often, sometimes freezes phone so can't even turn it off, looking for another app.
Constantly crashing. Using Note 4. Can't open or once ones, it crashes.
Developer is super responsive. Sometime recently, a bug caused the entire Penn Station schedule to disappear from favorite station listing. Notified Dev. and he fixed in a day, with an email advising of the fix!
i believe this app is not maintained anymore. It crashes when favorite route is selected. otherwise, the best app for LIRR status, bar none

The background colors for each branch makes it a lot easier to read. I'd really like to see the same thing for the Metro-North app please!
Its always on point, and has never let me down. Surprised it does not have many downloads.
Easy to use
I would have given this app a 5 star, but there is one glitch that stops me from doing that until it get fixed. The status update keeps missing the 1:22 pm departure from Penn station to Patchogue. That glitch needs to be addressed. Besides that it's a great app. I would buy it once the glitch disappears. Thanks.

I'm glad that someone finally made a good lirr timetable app. Everything else is pretty much garbage in comparison. It's simple, to the point. Honestly, this is an app lirr should be making not someone else.
Checking the schedule on this app is a convenience that I utilize every day. Being able to check off-line too is the real feature that I can't live without. I just wish these schedule updates weren't so frequent and abrupt. Can't wait for the ad-free version to come out.
I "LIKED" it (past tense) when it worked. Recently, it started crashing after being open for just a short time. Trying uninstall/reinstall ; it downloads, tries to install and fails every time (The Metro north version loads fine); Galaxy S5; 6.0.1 . several detailed emails to developer ; no responses.. Always great to pay for an app and get no support. :-(
