Ring My Phone

Do you ever lose your phone and ask someone to call it so you can find it? No more! Now you can ring your phone from your Pebble smart watch.
RingMyPhone is a simple Android app that allows you to start your phone ringing using your Pebble smart watch.

Phone on silent? RingMyPhone don't care! RingMyPhone will turn your volume to max, turn your screen on, and keep ringing until you tell it to stop. Once you stop it, your ringer volume will be restored to what ever it was previously.

The Android app contains the Pebble app, allowing you to install to your watch from within the app.

RingMyPhone is open source!Android App: https://github.com/Wavesonics/RingMyPhoneAndroidPebble App: https://github.com/Wavesonics/RingMyPhonePebble

You can try it for free for one week, after which you can pay $1 a single time to use it forever!

Useless app unless you pay for it! Your better off not bothering and borrowing a friends phone to find your lost device.

We all understand why some devs charge for their apps. But many people would never download it in the first place if they knew you were going to force them to pay after a week. Just be up front about it. Don't deceive people

The app exactly what it says it does, but I was a bit surprised to find that I downloaded a trial that I would need to pay to unlock. It's only a buck, so it isn't that big of a deal, but since no mention of this is made until you get the app, it kinda feels like a bait and switch. Seems a bit dishonest. Why not let people know in the description of the Pebble app?

Hard to find my phone, it rings so quietly with this app despite the ringtone volume, notification volume, and media volume. It is practically useless, now. It used to ring just fine. It needs to be linked to the ringer volume to be useful and get its 5 star review back. Uninstalling and installing one that actually helps me find my phone.

My experience with the app has been fantastic. I frequently set my phone down while it is on silent or vibrate and don't remember exactly where it is. I used to wander around wasting time, but can now just ring it from my watch. You can silence it just as easily which is great, since the phone rings at full volume. It seems to get a lot of poor reviews because people don't want to cough up a little money to support the developer of this incredible app. He gives you a full week free to see if you like it.

Worked during the trial. Paid the buck to unlock it forever. After update it stopped working. Phone app opens. Trying to open the pebble app crashes the watch. Useless to me now since it disables the watch whenever I open it. I emailed the dev and got no response. Would not recommend until fixed.

After having a week to test the app, I was totally willing to pay the $1. Works great. Only time it didn't work, my phone's ringtone was (for SOME reason!) set to Silent... Changed the ringtone, and it worked again. Simple, easy to use, happy to support the devs. If you hate paying money for apps, go code your own and see how much work it is. Me, I'm grateful for the chance to try it out first and pay after I decided I liked.

Be up front that it's a trial version! If I hadn't needed to find my phone and then been shocked to see "Trial Expired" I'd pay but I don't like surprises when I've lost my phone. That info should be top-line. (along with the need for this companion app in the pebble store)

EDIT: Fixed it myself. Goto settings, Sounds and Notifications, and change the setting for "Ringtone". By default on the Note 4, this field is empty. Was working fine with my Note 3... doesn't work at all with the Note 4. It's now been long enough with no fix or response from the dev to drop my rating to one star... App (on the phone and in the watch) says it's ringing the phone, but there's no sound.

It worked at first but since paying for it, it only works now and then. I have tried to contact them about it several times but had no reply. Don't waste your money!

Doesn't make my phone ring at all, only a silent notification pops up once I activate it on my pebble time. Waste of money.

I am liking the fact that you can stop the ringing when found via the watch or better yet, take off silent using the watch to make sure it will ring. Last thing that would be awesome would be to make the watch vibrate/flash when the watch may happen to be lost.

When it updates.. It doesn't work. Uninstall it and the watch app. Then reinstall.

This app asks you to install another pebble app before you use it. That other app does not work. I paid for this garbage and asked for money back. They never responded. So don't get this

Works wonderful with Google Pixel! Even withdraw and enables sound when ohine is placed on do not disturb or silence. I bought the full version immediately since it's only a $1.

It does not work, not ringing my phone at all. And after a week it even forces you to pay. Uninstalled.

Ignore the negative reviews, they're from idiots who don't have a Pebble smartwatch. This is perfect at its job so I was happy to buy the unlock, has always worked! Thanks dev! After a system wipe I suddenly realised how much I missed it...

They claim it's free and even OS. Then when you launch it, they tell you it's a 7 day demo. What a scam! I have no problem with developers charging for their apps. I have no problem paying for them. I have a big problem with them not being up front about it.

Like the Cowbell app, alerting you when your phone was left behind. This other application, is a must-have for the busy and the Forgetful.

It works. On my Honor7 with Android 6 I just added it to the list of protected apps for prevent closing on screen off.

I loved it at first, but now there is no sound when I use this app. All it will do now is light up the screen. I have checked the app settings and all is well.

This works great on my Pebble. It does require the phone app and the watch app both. I doesn't work with my Pebble Time. Maybe next update? Yup, worked after I updated the Pebble Time app on my phone and the watch. Great app!
