Have been using it for almost 2 years now. The most recent update is terrible. Can't copy and paste texts as efficiently (used to be a simple double click and copy, but now have to highlight the entire selection and copy, but sometimes it takes several attempts to highlight everything). Also, now my bluetooth won't connect. It worked fine before, but now it only allows for speakerphone, which is not good for quality. Very unhappy and wish could erase the update.

I have been with Ringcentral for a while. The app has always been great except over the last 2 weeks. Whenever I place a call on the app I can talk for about a minute before callers can't hear me. I have to change from from Bluetooth to speaker or back and forth every 60 seconds for the caller to hear me. It's very frustrating when you are taking a business call. Please fix this issue ASAP!

I like the concept of RingCentral, but I have similar issues that others experience. When I connect a BT device (car, earpiece, etc) it thinks I'm on a call and activates the phone, requiring me to hang up with myself. This had never happened up until a few weeks ago, so maybe a background update has caused this. Also, the app disables the microphone during a call if your phone screen goes dark so you have to keep fiddling with your phone so the screen stays active. I'm using a Galaxy Note 9.

Every time I get into my car, it insists I'm "in a call" and all other sounds are muted until I select "Hang Up" . It took me a while to figure out the culprit. It was Ring Central. I have a few other apps that my car recognizes as phone calls when connected. None of them have this "always connected" problem. I'm wondering if ring central is not always listening and transmitting. Uninstalled.

it's great for managing multiple numbers for a business however the app gets annoying with how it handles calls. some calls that come in go for one ring before they hang up and instead of taking you back to the previous screen, it takes you top the app. So if you're looking at navigation, say bye to that screen and possibly miss your exit. or if you're looking stuff up on your phone, pray the site doesn't time out because you went away.

App worked great for the past three years, until one day the call logs and messages started randomly deleting themselves. Then the call forwarding settings would constantly change on their own. Ringcentral tech support was useless and insisted it was our fault that it was happening. They could never tell us what was happening or why. It was clearly a software issue as it occured on the app and on the web portal as well. it has hurt our business.

Generally a solid app, but the latest version has an annoying bug. Bluetooth devices connect and immediately join a call. You need to "hang-up" the bluetooth headset or car before you can use it. This behavior is entirely caused by having this app installed. Workaround: Go into the RC Phone app settings and revoke the Phone permissions. This keeps bluetooth from misbehaving. For me, I only use RC Phone for the messages and meetings capability anyway (RC forwards to my cell#), so this is okay. If you need the phone to dial outbound you can enable it while it's in use. This is at least a way to limp while we wait for a fix without uninstalling or disabling the whole app.

The app is capable, however I have 3 problems with it: 1. The UI is less intuitive than the desktop app and has inconsistent elements. 2. When holding the phone up to my ear in-call, it's still possible to trigger the notification shade & call controls, indicating an issue with touch prevention. 3. When using my noise-cancelling headphones, I have to force-quit the app after ending a call, as my headphones stay in ambient sound passthrough mode, meaning the app hasn't closed its audio channel.

Been using this app for over a year now. Everything is good except for one thing. In the last 2-3 weeks my phone sometimes is not ringing and I keep getting missed calls. Not even a notification after the caller stops calling!!! I have Internet connection 24/7!!! Every other app rings except for Ring Central. Please fix that. Not a good way to do business. If this goes on, I will stop using this service.

Hardly works. Rings once and then shows missed call. While support was quick to investigate, they duplicated the issue and responded that this is "normal behavior" for the app! It doesn't seem to be seen as an issue for them. Only work around is to forward calls to my personal phone, but this does not allow me to differentiate between personal and business calls. Fail...

Since last updated it's messing up with all of our Samsung phones. Bluetooth doesn't function properly. There is no excuse for a company as big as Ringcentral puts out a mobile app so many issues. We have 150 Ringcentral lines at work and starting to look for other option. We have sales people on the road who try to use this and it's barely usable.

Tim. S. Jun 3, 2019

like other people recently, I've discovered that everytime a bluetooth device connects to my phone, such as car, or headphones, the phone will attempt to initiate a call to itself. Since uninstalling RC on my phone, this behaviour has stopped. I recently worked with Ringcentral to help identify this issue. A fix will hopefully be forthcoming in approx a week. On the positive side, their response to this problem has been outstanding to get it fixed

Terrible app. VOIP is barely usable even on WiFi. When I turn off VOIP calling it defaults back to VoIP calling on its own making my calls unintelligible. Audio glitches galore as well. The app will hijack phone audio after a call and cause the phone to no longer output audio over Bluetooth. I then have to force close the app after a call. Oh, and how's this for convenience: it puts your call on hold if you switch apps (what the hell?). We're paying good money for RC service. I expect better.

this app is garbage. get a phone call while your phone is locked in your pocket? dont touch that screen, it will disappear. got a good solid wifi connection? doesnt matter, the call quality is still aids. but what really takes the cake, the fact that this thing seems to think theres a call everytime my car connects to my phone with bluetooth. I think I'd rather use cups and strings rather than this app. I think I'd rather use carrier pidgeon rather than this app. too bad I'm stuck with app.

My company pays an extortionate amount to use RingCentral, and while the desktop version is very good, it feels like the mobile app is an afterthought, and of nowhere near the same level of quality. It's a buggy mess, and using it on a daily basis and only highlighted why this app is complete garbage. Calls are fetting stuck in my notifications panel for 30 minutes after I've taken a call, stopping me from being able to answer other calls. I then have to Force Stop the app and restart everytime

The May 14th update to this app somehow broke the Bluetooth capabilities of my Samsung Galaxy S8 on Android Pie. As soon as my phone would connect to my truck, it would immediately start calling myself and I'd have to 'end call' every time. Then I noticed that my earbud would connect to Bluetooth, then disconnect a few seconds later and audio quality would drop etc. Figured it was a phone issue, called Samsung yesterday, reset all my network/bluetooth settings and still have the same issue. This morning I was trying to make a call while my phone was calling myself (again) and I kept getting a message of "no ring central conference call available." Interesting. I immediately uninstalled this app and everything is back to normal. Not sure if it's a known issue or not, please fix as I've uninstalled for the time being but I do use the app for work calls through my cell. Thank you.

Ever since the android 8 update on my S7 it lags when opening the app. It won't open. Not sure if it's Android, the app or both but it's unusable for now. Update since 9/20/18.Still having the lag issue. The app launches but it says "please wait" endlessly. I've been attempting to open it for 2 hours now. I've cleared cache and reinstalled it. Nothing is helping.

functional but the bugs reported in other reviews are very real. Every time my phone connects to bluetooth, it thinks its in a call with itself and i have to "hang up" before bluetooth will work. RC ohone is the culprit. also, when making calls within the app, the app will lock and im essentially muted withiut notice. unfortunately the app is more trouble than it's worth for now.

JB. G. Sep 16, 2019

How can you make a soft phone in 2019 that will not work with Bluetooth? More than half of the time the call goes to the handset instead of the connected Bluetooth earpiece. Every bit of audio except RingCentral has no issue routing audio to my earpiece. I expect better out of a free app, let alone a service my company pays for. Removed the 2 stats I added after the company called me to tell me that Bluetooth not functioning is "normal" behavior for the app. Ridiculous.

Calls do not go through Bluetooth or Android Auto so I can't touch my phone while driving so I have to let it ring out. When answering the phone the proximity sensor does not kick in meaning I've sent an email and turned on my flashlight but the end of the call, this does not seem to be a problem on iOS.

Suh. A. Feb 5, 2020

I'm on a Pixel 3. The app times out when I attempt to answer calls, and has recently also started to automatically make "ghost" calls as soon I connect to a Bluetooth audio device. Wouldn't be surprised if there were a ton of other issues with this app as well, but I wouldn't know because I've never gotten that far.

Mar. M. Jun 12, 2019

the app and phone system work ok, i just hate how when your on a phone call the screen doesn't turn off right and its easy to make a lot of false touches on your screen. its done this with my old and new phone, so i know it isnt the proximity sensor. also if you turn the screen off manually, sometimes you will lose connection till you turn it back on. please fix.

The company I work for has used Ring Central for at least the last 8 years. I have always had the Ring Central app on my phone to help keep up with messages and it worked great until the app was updated. Now when I open the app on my phone, it tells me that it's been updated and I have to download the new version but when I do it tells me we need to have a voice subscription? My company pays for your service, the mobile app should work too. Previously reported but no resolution yet.

Major bug! I have my phone connected via Bluetooth with my two cars, and every time I start the engine and the phone connects, the app thinks it's in a call. I need to basically "hang up" with myself. Very annoying, and this needs to be fixed.

I have samsung s10+ and this APP is totally wasted! I have created support ticket and sent them debug report and it still haven't been fixed!. I am having same problem that everyone else is having with android pie. The app gets to "scroll down to unlock" screen and also most of the time my customers won't able to hear me unless I do hold and un hold. this is really annoying and I can't do my business like this!. I am thinking to switch to another provider. I am paying double compare to other providers out there!. Support seems to be responsive but they are useless and wasting my time all the time. I have spent over 2hrs but still nothing!

Purchased the Professional Plus plan, very excited for the service as it was what I was looking for at a price I deemed acceptable. Was unable to recieve calls on my mobile using the app, unless I just forwarded the number directly to my phone. After a week emailing with support they tell me that they have removed the Professional Plus plan and that I need to upgrade to their office plan at 3x the cost. Currently waiting for sales to contact me to cancel my plan and receive a refund.

The audio is terrible, using your cell phone directly is so much better than using this app. My clients and coworkers can never hear me when I use this app, and I can never hear them. Super embarrassing when a client or one of my bosses calls and the audio is constantly dropping. Fix this RC, it's been a year with horrible audio!
