If you are using Ringo with GO SMS Pro or Handcent, note that these apps can disable the SMS notifications for all other apps, including Ringo, which stops Ringo working. You can fix this in their settings.
In GO SMS Pro, tap Menu / Settings / Advanced tab / Notification Settings, and uncheck Notifications. Then go to Receive Settings and un-check 'Disable other message notification'.
In Handcent, Tap Menu / Settings / Application Settings.Tap 'Default Messaging Application', and choose Disable.Then turn on 'Lower priority'.

I've used this app for years and loved it. However, my phone recently did an update and now it doesn't ring, or will go off 5-15 min after a call or text. Needs a serious update. may end up having to delete it.
Unreliable. I loved this app but lately my ringtones aren't working. Ringtones only sound part of the time and notifications are not always working either.
I love setting different text and ringtones but it needs an update. It worked fine on my Galaxy 8 but not so much on my 10.
Really crappy that they got rid of the pro version that I, and other people paid for, just so they could add the "pro" version to this app but not allow people who have paid to use the services they already paid for. So now you have to pay for the better version again? No thanks. I will not be using this any more, instead I will tell people not to use this app cause the devs are just money hungry and don't care about the people using this app.
was working until my note 8 did an upgrade the other day. now seems buggy. delayed SMS tones, sometimes 5 min later than actual text.
Glad I diidnt get the pay verison, the free one don't work. needs updated. delayed notifications since phone updated.
Used to be really good now the selected tones wont play or they will play way past the time of the text message
There's a new RINGO app peeps and it works great! This one was great until it crashed

Great app.lots of ringtones and I paid for custom vibrations too. Problem is every so often it just stops working. I am tired of uninstalling it reinstalling it and then having to reset all the custom vibrations. UPDATE I have an app optimiser on phone. Since I set that to ignore Ringo the problem of it just stopping working seems to have gone away. If it is happening to you and you have optimiser try it see if it helps you.
Wow I just switched from I phone. To moto x Android .I was in tears at first I couldn't personalize or customize text tones or ring tone for my contacts .I tried the trial version was a bit better but now I bought the full version wooooooo hoooooo thank you I now love my new phone .thank you so much Ringo I LOVE YOU WOOOO HOOOO .
Very irritated with this app... It's worked for years without any problems at all until this last update. I have a Galaxy S6 edge. If someone calls the ring tones work. If they text I get nothing unless they send several messages at the same time. Please fix asap
And it does it well. The one time I did have a problem, my email was answered promptly, and a bug fix was out in a remarkably short time. I haven't tried any of the pro features, but if you just need an app to set different sounds for your assorted contacts, this is the one for you.
About a month ago, this add keeps attaching to Ringo and it is annoying and very frustrating. I don't know how to get it off. Please help I love this app and I want to get rid of that add. Once you can help me get rid of that I will rate you higher. The add is about some free seminar
I paid for the pro version a few years ago within the app. I installed it on my new phone and it's not the pro version I paid for. The app is not working properly, some assigned contacts work others won't, SD cannot be read (it's new). Not happy because this used to be a good app
I love that I can set different ringtones for each person in my contacts list. However, when I get group messages I don't get any notification and don't see them until I check the phone's native messaging app. I've missed several important messages this way!
Had for a year, no problems until recently. Every single morning starting at 7am, I get pop up ads. Every single day always starting at 7am. This morning I got 10 of them. No way to make them stop unless you sign up for a paid subscription. Can't take it anymore, deleted app.
I paid for Ringo pro and now I cannot install on my other phone. Shame you take people money. Need to fix this problem
It used to be great but now it rarely gives me any specialized rings for specific contacts. If this worked better perhaps I'd consider the pro version but it just doesn't seem worth it; which is a shame because I've been using this since 2010, and as soon as it stopped working with Handcent it seemed to progressively degrade to it being spotty if at all working now.
This app is good but limited. Wish you could set contacts to never slient, like Ringo pro. What happened to Ringo pro it was the best application ever. I would even pay to add back the features.
