Rings Extended

I've been using this application for years now (I think since before the last update in 2014) and it still runs great! Concerning the issue some of you are (were?) having with the OK button and screen filters, that's a new (at the time) Android security feature to keep apps from giving themselves permissions by clicking OK buttons. If you use the built in blue light filter in Android, that problem goes away. Also, I'm running this on a Galaxy S10+ currently running Android 10. It works fine!

When I first installed it it was working great I can select my own sounds for incoming text emails and personalize ringtones for each individual person. Then I got a software update and some features don't work as well. Others don't work at all. Very sad I love this app! Please update! I'm rocking the Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus already an updated phone I'm sure! So it should be easy to make this work again. Not for me but for the developer I hope :-) fingers crossed

Worked perfectly for the past 7 years! I used it on my first smartphone and every one since (assuming the ringtone didn't automatically transfer). Having Rings Extended installed just adds another option for selecting a ringtone in your system settings, so you can even uninstall afterwards it if you don't plan on changing ringtones often. It worked on my Pixel 3a XL despite the "This was made for an older version of Android" warning.

Used to work with my Android 8. Now I have an Android 9plus and it's not working. Was a great app. I installed and reinstalled hoping that would take care of the problem, but no. Now when I want to select a tone or song for a ring tone I don't get the Rings Extended prompt. Oh well.

Worked great on an older model of Samsung Galaxy. No longer works for S21, and hasn't been updated for eight years. Only reason it doesn't get one star is because I enjoyed it when it did work for older Samsung phones.

I use this app since Android 2.3. Now I have Android 9 and Rings Extended is the only app that still works as expected, without any flaw! This is a must have extension of sound settings page, period.

Works flawlessly, used it for years on every phone I've had. The one thing I would add is that it would be great if it were possible to enable it to stop after a set time. Or add a cutter.

Just downloaded it and got to change my text message sound to the one i wanted but it doesnt play the wanted sound, it still uses the default sound even when all settings say theres custom sound applied.

Does not load previously selected sounds. Update required to fix bugs. Dont know when the app was updated. Developer has gone in hibernation.

I installed the app and when i open message sounds it..showed me two options...but i accidentally select media storage option instead of this application Now its not showing the option....i tried re installing and i restarted the device tooo but this option is not showing NOW.... PLEASE HELP ME

I used to use this app many years ago on my Android devices. I'm surprised that it still works on Android 11. It does and it still works just a good as it did on Gingerbread 2.3.4.

Have used this app since Android became a thing back in 2008 with the HTC G1...cannot believe I am still going back to it to clip my mp3s for ringtones but not complaining! Great job Dev!

Not working on my s22 keeps on crashing. Last worked on my s20fe. Very disappointed it no longer works with newer phones

I guess because this app is old and the fact that its last update was like around 6 years ago, but like it still won't let me change the notification sound on my messages app.

Only app that enable you search and test sound when changeing for example custom sms sound for specific person etc.

I've been using this for years. You only fully realise how much you appreciate it when you don't have as many options available to you when you get a new phone.

used this app since my very 1st android phone, the Dell Streak. Can't imagine having a mobile without it

It doesn't work on my phone. I got a message that said it only works on older phones. They need to update the app

This makes putting customise ring times into the phone extremely easy.
